Jack placed his hands on the sink and stared at himself in the mirror—black hair and glasses that hid a face that could sweep any girl off her feet—and sighed.
“I really transmigrated…” Jack mumbled under his breath.
He could still remember solving equation problems in math class when the classroom collapsed; the last thing he saw was a gigantic truck.
Jack stayed in that position for a minute, and it was only when the feeling of disorientation went away that he sighed again, running a hand through his hair.
“I’ve transmigrated; there’s no use brooding about it… I should just adapt,” Jack muttered, pumping his courage up before he turned on the tap, washed his face, and left the school toilet.
The hallway was filled with students, their voices creating a noisy atmosphere.
Jack stepped out of the school toilet, placed his hands inside his sweater pockets, and walked through the hallway in silence, sorting out the memories that had flooded his mind the moment he transmigrated.
Jack Davis.
18 years old and a student at Reginald Vel Johnson High School.
‘So he has the same name as me but not the same age, huh… but why does this high school sound so familiar?’ Jack thought, his brows furrowing slightly.
But after thinking it through and unable to find the name in his past life memory, he dropped it and continued going through his memory.
Jack Davis had a single sister who worked as a secretary at Vo—
“Vought?!” Jack gasped, almost tripping as his memories became clearer, feeling like the air had become a little bit colder.
‘I now know why the name of the school sounds so familiar!
Isn’t this the school that Mark—the protagonist of the cartoon Invincible—attends?!’
Vought, the name of the industry in the famous movie series—The Boys.
A world where civilian deaths are daily, and Mark, the protagonist of Invincible, a world even more brutal than The Boys, with planetary-level beings lurking in the dark.
And from the news spreading around of the death of the seven Guardians of the Globe, Jack knew… the world was about to descend into chaos.
Jack, lost in thought, had stepped out of the school building, and it was only when the midday wind brushed against his skin that he woke up from his stupor.
But he didn’t go back inside; Instead, he stared at the orange sun in silence.
“This world of strangeness…” Jack clenched his fist tightly.
“…Will I just be one of the many collateral damages?”

Ring!
Ring!
As the school bell rang and the teacher left the classroom, Jack placed his book inside his bag and hurried outside.
‘I can’t wait for death… Should I ask Vought for Compound V?’ Jack thought as he weaved through the hallway filled with students.
‘No.
There’s a high chance that they won’t give it.
Instead…’
Jack shuddered, remembering the unfortunate businessman who died by Homelander’s lasers.
‘Should I consider Omni Consumer Products?’ Jack thought with a frown.
He had watched RoboCop in his past life and knew how strong an enhanced human could be, rivaling some low-level superheroes.
‘Invincible…
The Boys…
RoboCop.
This world is really messed up,’ Jack thought, but unlike before, he didn’t feel despair.
Instead, his determination burned brighter—he must join Omni Consumer Products!
“I’m home!” Jack shouted as he opened the door and entered the house.
“Welcome back. You’re home early.”
A woman in her early twenties stepped out of the kitchen with a spatula.
She had long blonde hair and a round, beautiful face with a busty figure.
She wore a brown apron over a red gown—she was his sister, Sasha Davis.
Jack blinked in confusion, then it dawned on him—he always had a ‘date’ with someone.
“Hmm. I decided to skip it today,” Jack said with a smile.
Who was he kidding?
When the threat of death loomed over his head, if he still had time to accompany that girl, then he would be a fool.
“That’s great, then! I was about to buy groceries; you can accompany me,” Sasha said as she clapped her hands with a smile.
“Can I refuse?” Jack asked.
“No,” Sasha’s reply was blunt and precise.
Undoing the apron, she hung it on a hanger by the wall, then turned to Jack.
“Let’s go.”

Sasha led Jack through the streets of New York, and now that he had calmed down a little, he could finally see the streets in their full glory.
Posters of superheroes filled the street, with the most featuring the Seven—the main superheroes of Vought.
“He’s amazing, right?” Sasha said with admiration as she noticed Jack’s eyes glued to a poster of Homelander.
“Uh… yeah,” Jack said.
“I really admire him. And not only him, but all the members of the Seven; they’re really like Jesus to our world,” Sasha said, her voice laced with admiration.
‘No, sister, don’t be grateful!
They’re all lunatics, and Homelander’s the worst—an overgrown baby!’ Jack thought, but he still agreed.
After buying the groceries, the two siblings stepped out of the convenience store.
‘What’s this feeling?’ Jack thought as he felt a prickling sensation at his neck.
This sensation came after they stepped out of the store, and as they kept walking, the feeling increased more and more.
Jack frowned, but just then, he heard a metallic chime in his mind.

Just as Jack was feeling disoriented by the suddenly appearing system bombardment, he felt a change—his hearing became sharper, his eyes became clearer, and a warm current emerged through his body, noticeably strengthening it.
Just as Jack stood enjoying the feeling, that sharp prickling sensation came with full force again, but this time I heard it—the sound of a heart beating and labored breath.
!!
Jack’s eyes snapped to the side, and then he saw him—
‘A-Train?!’

A/N: A new novel, guys!
This novel idea came to my mind after watching Invincible (and currently watching The Boys).
There will be other movies too, but I’m not certain if anyone will have a hero group industry.
