A/N: I’m so sorry, guys; I kinda overslept to cool my brain, and I forgot, but I won’t shirk my responsibilities!
Thank you, guys; I’m really grateful!!!
I’m kinda regretting why my chapters aren’t higher—maybe I could have entered the rankings.
But still, thank you!!

Jack frowned slightly.
“Homelander. I don’t think we have a feud, do we?” he asked as he stared at Homelander.
“A feud?” Homelander’s smile returned as he stared at Superboy like the eyes of a predator looking at prey.
“Oh, sweetheart… no. Of course we don’t.”
Zoom!
Red lasers burst out from his eyes, but Jack was prepared this time, also firing his own lasers.
The two lasers clashed, and there was no struggle; Jack’s laser slowly pushed Homelander’s own back.
Swoosh!
Homelander hurriedly flew higher, dodging the attack, his face now tinged with gravity.
Boom!
Jack exploded forward, moving so fast that by the time Homelander could register his figure, Jack’s one hand had already gripped his suit and the other punched out.
Boom!
Homelander’s face jerked to the side; a punch at his stomach caused him to double over, and Jack threw him away, followed with a laser at the chest.
The series of actions took only 10 seconds, and Homelander already had two scorching marks on his suit’s chest, which emitted black smoke.
“You… You think you’re stronger than me?!” Homelander screamed, his voice now tinged with panic and fear as his eyes glowed red.
“I’m Homelander! I’m the best! You’re just a cheap knock-off! I’ll burn your fucking eyes out of your skull!”
He fired another laser, and Jack attacked with his.
Just like before, Jack’s laser instantly overpowered Homelander’s, causing him to dodge again.
“The best?” Jack stared at Homelander with a taunting smile.
He hadn’t adapted to killing yet—didn’t mean he couldn’t beat the hell out of this delusional overgrown baby.
“The last I remembered, Omni-Man always claimed that.”
He vanished, appearing in front of Homelander in an instant, and punched him in the cheek, sending the man flying.
Catching the American flag cape, Jack spun Homelander around before throwing him, followed by another laser, sending him plummeting to the ground.
“This… This is kind of exciting,” Jack muttered, unable to hide his smile, his fist clenching in excitement.
Jack waited a full minute for Homelander to fly back up, and unable to see him, he used X-ray vision and stared downwards, realizing something…
Homelander wasn’t there.
‘Don’t tell me he ran away?’ Jack’s lips twitched, but after a thought, he felt it was reasonable.
Homelander was known for having a god complex, believing everyone apart from him were mere ants…
that is, until he met someone stronger than him; then he’d flee without hesitation.

Homelander, now in a new suit, walked through the hallways of Vought with a dark expression.
Employees who saw him hurriedly lowered their heads and walked faster.
Homelander came to a stop and knocked on the door.
“Come in,” a female voice came from behind the door.
The door creaked open, and Homelander stepped inside the office.
Madelyn didn’t look up from her tablet immediately, a smile adorning her lips.
“Homelander, you did great! The citizens of New York are still chanting your name! Your new product would surely—”
Her words were cut short as she looked up, staring in surprise at the heavily breathing Homelander, his fists clenched till they were white.
“John?” Madelyn called out to him, her voice filled with gentleness as she stood up and approached him, her heels clicking softly on the hardwood floor.
Patting his back, she smiled.
“What happened?”
“He’s going to ruin everything, Madelyn!” Homelander spat out the words, his voice filled with rage, masking his fear.
“That new… that new piece of shit Superboy! The crowd—they were looking at him! They loved him! I tried to take his fucking head off, but…!”
He gripped his hair and turned to her.
“We need to kill him! Do you hear me?! Find his house, find his mother! Find whatever weakness he has and put him on the ground! He’s got to go, Madelyn! Superboy’s got to go!”
Madelyn’s smile froze for a second before she shook her head with a wry smile, her hands cupping both sides of his cheeks, staring straight into his eyes.
“John. Look at me. I too wish for you to be the only replacement for Omni-Man… but Vought doesn’t rule America or the world. The GDA wouldn’t allow us to act against Superboy.”
“So what do you mean?” Homelander stared at her, his eyes glowing red. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.
“Superboy fired a fucking laser at my chest! I’m Homelander! Nobody does that to me!”
“John—”
“Enough!” Homelander broke free from her, his fists clenching in rage.
“If you don’t do something, I’ll find somebody who fucking will!”
Leaving those words behind, he flew off from the office through the balcony like a fired bullet.
“Haa…” Madelyn exhaled, massaging her temples.
Ring!
Ring!
The telephone at her desk rang, causing her to frown slightly.
Walking to the desk, she answered it and placed it by her ear.
“I’m a little—”
“Madelyn.”
A cold and gruff voice cut her off.
“I just watched the satellite feed. The fight between Superboy and Homelander. Put your product on a leash. Don’t let it happen again.”
After saying those cold words, the person didn’t wait for Madelyn’s reply before the phone let out a beep—call ended.
Madelyn clenched the phone with barely restrained rage.

One day passed, and it reached two days since Jack reincarnated into this weird world.
Apart from going solo or teaming with teen teams to capture criminals, the days had been peaceful…
that was till the third day.
“Which crime this time? And what is the ability of the supe?” Superboy asked Robot through the earpiece; he and Atom Eve were already dressed in their costumes, and flying together with them was a boy in a yellow and blue body suit, Mark—Invincible.
Robot’s cold, emotionless voice came through.
“The Flaxans. They’re back.”

A chapter would be dropped today…
