I barely know him.
It’s already weird enough being alone with two men in the same room late at night.
Damn… I’m gonna have to tell Mouse about this one.
She’s going to be so mad.
“On my honor, I won’t touch you.
Cross my heart.” he made an X on his chest.
“Yeah… No… I think I’ll take my chances.” I Would rather get caught sneaking into my dorm than out of his home.
“Well, Bees, I want to stay here.
Please stay.” Hyung Jun Oh begged batting his lashes at me.
“Absolutely not.
That’s a scandal waiting to be posted on the school’s forum.
I don’t need that kind of drama right now.
It’s already flying with rumors.” I wasn’t budging.
“We just have to keep it a secret.
Consider it the first of many in our relationship.” Did he really just wink at me?
“You’re delusional.” I huffed.
When our eyes connected it was like the around us went blurry and I was lost in his stormy grey eyes.
They were enchanting and hypnotizing.
It made skin prickle and my heart pound.
I had to remind myself to breathe, because looking at his perfect face kept making me forget.
“When it comes to you, delusional doesn’t even begin to cover it.” I could tell he meant every word, the way he spoke it wasn’t sarcastic or jokey, it was intense and real.
My heart dropped.
What is wrong with this guy?
Why is he so obsessed with me?
His gaze was making me dizzy.
But I couldn’t pull away.
“Is it hot in here or is it just me?
The tension between you two is too much.” Hyung Jun Oh started fanning himself.
His words broke our intense stare off.
I was so grateful, I didn’t even realize I was holding my breath until I released it.
“I won’t force it, but if you get caught just drop my name with your dorm monitor.” He winked at me.
“Doubtful, but thanks.” I gave him the fakest of smiles.
This guy was so arrogant.
Acting like he is so important, the mere mention of his name could solve all my problems.
“Come on, yeobo, let’s get you both back to the dorms.” He waved gesturing toward the front door.
I rolled my eyes at the mention of his nickname for me.
I grabbed my things and followed him out to his car.
When we arrived at the dorms he was out of his seat and at my door opening it for me before I even had my seatbelt undone.
“Good night, yeobo.” He shot me a million dollar smile, and for some weird reason, my cheeks heated up.
Was I actually blushing?
Get a grip girl, he’s just manipulating you, because that’s what men do to get what they want.
Then once they do they chew you up and spit you back out.
“Yeah… Good night.” I stepped out of his car.
“I’ll see you later girl.” Hyung Jun Oh waved to me.
I walked inside and surprising no one was around.
I quickly went up the stairs to my room, pulled out my keys.
I saw a shadow moving around the corner, I hurriedly jiggled lock trying to unlock it.
The footsteps were getting louder.
If it was the dorm monitor, I’d be toast.
Thankfully the door was being unlocked.
I burst through the door, nearly knocking Cherry off her feet.
I stumbled forward pushing her in as she stumbled backward.
“Woah there cowgirl.
What’s the rush?” Cherry asked after catching her balance.
I placed my computer bag softly on to the ground and flopped backwards on my bed, arms spread wide.
“You might have just saved my life.
The dorm monitor was coming around the corner while I was struggling with my keys.” I was breathing heavy for anxiety.
“Where have you been, missy?” Cherry pulled up a chair and sat on it backwards leaning on the back.
“You won’t believe it… I was with Kim Taeyung.
At his freakin house!” Cherry nearly fell out of her chair at the mention of me being at his house.
“Oh, my god girl, you’re kidding!
You were at Kim Taeyung’s house!
No girl has ever been to his house; he always takes his dates to a hotel or their own place.
OMG GIRL!
You’re so lucky.” Cherry’s Australian accent was always so cute to listen too.
“Yeah, well he’s still a womanizer, and I’m focused on school.
I don’t want to waste my time on something that just would never work.” I put my hands behind my head.
“How do you know it won’t work?” I could practically feel the frown on her face.
“No way, we’re from two completely different worlds.
And I value the sanctity of a relationship, if I date someone it’s with the intent to spend the rest of my life with them.
I’m not interested in superficial relationships.” “Burrr… You’re so coldd…” She rubbed her arms pretending to be chilly.
“Oh, shut up!
No, I’m not!” I shot up in my own defense.
“Yes, you are.
You’re practically a blizzard.” “You’re crazy, I’m warmer than the sun, he’s just arrogant and annoying and demanding and controlling, and just so much it’s frustrating.
I don’t like drama, and he screams it.” I explained gathering my pajamas to get ready for bed.
I had class again tomorrow; it was already almost one in the morning.
I needed to get in bed.
“You better tell me everything.” Cherry was pretty insistent, and I don’t think she’ll leave it alone until I do.
“Fine, fine, let me get ready for bed first.
I’ll give you a bedtime story.” “Yes!” She fisted in the air.
After performing my nighttime routine, I settled into bed.
“I’m waiting.” Cherry startled me, I thought she was asleep.
“I made two new friends today.
Kang So Mi and Hyung Jun Oh.
Hyung Jun Oh is gay, and somehow managed to convince me to go to Kim Taeyung’s house with his master class persuasive skill.” She was listening so intensely “And at his house, which is super nice and fancy, not that I expected much less, but I definitely pictured something a little flashier.
He was surprisingly hospitable, and provided us snacks and drinks, and we played games.” I remembered how I tricked him and giggled.
“I might have played a tiny prank on him.” “Oh… What’s that?” Cherry asked intrigued.
“So, we played the same MMORPG A Korean Odyssey.
He’s so cocky he assumed he could help me in the game level up.
Not realizing I rank number one in the game.
He’s just that arrogant.
Anyways, I built an account today that’s above average, so it’s believable for me, but not so good that I deflate his ego.
And now he thinks a character I made today is my real account.
He’s going to make a fool of himself when he finds out I’m the top ranked player in the game.” I smiled deviously.
“You are sinister.
Wow.” She shook her head at me.
“Like I said, cold.
Ice Queen.” “Wow.
Is that your new nickname for me?” I raised my eyebrow at her.
“Yes, I’m changing your name in my phone right now.” She laughed.
“Okay, Cantaloupe.” I fired back.
“Well, at least it’s sweet, and better than carrots.” She laughed harder.
“Go to bed.” I turned away from her and turned off the light that hung over my bed.
“Eep.
My roommate is dating the most desired man in Seoul.
So cool.” She giggled.
“I’m not dating him, Cantaloupe.” “Whatever you say, Ice Queen.”
