The protagonist of this book was not him, but rather his younger brother, Tian.

Or rather, the person he had thought was Tian.

After reading the plot, Eugene realized that the cute little brother he remembered had actually died two years ago. The one currently inhabiting his brother’s shell was a transmigrator.Full novel: The Cannon Fodder Gong Seduced the Villain [Quick Transmigration] — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Clearly, the transmigrator’s personality was not at all similar to the original Tian.

Yet everyone around him, including himself, had consistently ignored the various abnormalities and completely failed to notice.

Even more bizarrely, over the past two years, every female who had laid eyes on Tian even once would fall hopelessly infatuated with him and obey his every command.

His past self had also acted as if he were brainwashed, growing increasingly admiring of the other and even starting to believe that without his younger brother, he could accomplish nothing at all.

Yes, the former Eugene had believed in his younger brother so wholeheartedly that when the Hashu tribe threatened to start a war, he followed Tian’s suggestion and willingly allowed himself to be captured by the enemy. He did this simply to infiltrate the enemy’s warship and provide intelligence to Tian.

Unfortunately, Tian had tricked him into taking on this mission just to plunge him into danger.

As the eldest son, Eugene originally held the primary right of succession. But if he did nothing, according to the plot, it would not take long for him to die here, making Tian’s succession smooth and logical.

Until the very end, his parents never knew he had become a prisoner of war.

They did not know that Tian had deliberately launched a surprise attack after receiving the intelligence he provided.

And they certainly did not know that when Admiral Keo of the enemy forces used Eugene’s life as a bargaining chip to communicate with Tian, Tian purposefully ignored them.

Tian only told them that Eugene had died at the hands of the Hashu tribe, cruelly murdered by the admiral named Keo.

His parents were devastated. The two clans completely broke ties from that moment on, and the Zerg War officially began.

After Eugene died, Tian, as the only remaining male prince, rose to the occasion in crisis and quickly succeeded the throne, becoming the King of the Buzz Zerg.

Having endured a harrowing, brutal war that lasted four or five years and stepping over the corpses of countless innocent zergs, Tian finally relied on his powerful harem to unite the divided zerg factions at last, becoming the ultimate ruler of the Zerg.

The plot ended here.

Eugene closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and cursed aloud for the first time in his life.

Usurping the nest, insatiable, ungrateful, and utterly unscrupulous. How could such a shameless scoundrel deserve such favoritism from fate? Was it simply because he was the protagonist?

Even setting aside the conflict between them, the Zerg internal society desperately needed reconciliation, not war. This damned transmigrator had not only replaced his brother and plotted to murder him, but he would also cause countless more deaths.

His past self must have trusted him because he was controlled by the plot. Now that he had regained his sobriety, he would never let such a thing happen again.

Eugene lowered his eyelashes. Although emotions churned within his heart, he kept his expression completely composed on the surface.

He crushed the blue microchip capable of transmitting information to Tian right against his fingernails, then raised his gaze once more to look outside the cell.

His silver hair and fair skin sometimes made Eugene look as fragile as an exquisite work of art. Yet at the exact moment he lifted his gaze, his pale golden eyes, ordinarily warm and gentle, projected a chillingly sharp light.

He had to find a way to leave this place safely and return to Buzz.

The interior of the Hashu spaceship featured a black-and-gold metallic structure.

The two young soldiers who had just wiped Eugene’s face walked the fastest down the corridor. When they reached the corner at the very end, however, they stopped.

One of them tried to take the towel used to wipe Eugene’s face from the other female’s hands, but the latter still gripped it tightly.

“Um, let me throw that away.”

The female shook his head like a rattle-drum. “No, no, I can handle it myself.”

“Don’t stand on ceremony.”

“It really is fine!”

The two tall young soldiers played a tug-of-war, each wanting to snatch back the towel. After persisting for a long time, they locked eyes, and one of the females finally lowered his voice: “Did you smell it just now?”

The other soldier instantly flushed bright red, his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down. “I smelled it.”

The scent of that male’s pheromones just now had been simply too incredible.

As ordinary soldiers, their chances of direct contact with a male were already extremely rare, let alone the fact that Eugene was a true Royal Zerg.

His pheromones were crisp, pure, and represented the highest existing tier.

The soldiers were still immersed in it. The sensation felt just like someone who had lived in a cave seeing sunlight for the first time, or someone barely surviving in thick smoke breathing fresh oxygen for the very first time.

Their entire minds seemed to float in the clouds; the world before their eyes suddenly brightened, their chests opened up wide, and all pain was swept away.

It was simply too stunning.

The two looked at each other and said nothing more, yet neither was willing to let go of the towel. In the end, they even whispered to each other, debating whether they should cut it in half to split it evenly.

“What are you guys doing?”

Baby-face suddenly roared, chasing up from behind. He glared at them, snatched the towel straight out of their hands, and said angrily:

“Don’t think I don’t know what you are up to. Wow, have you no shame?”

“Never seen a male before?”

The two soldiers looked ashamed, but still muttered in defense: “Have you seen one? Well, isn’t it true that we haven’t…”

“I’ve never seen one like this.”

To be honest, with the Interstellar Net being so developed nowadays, they had long since seen the faces of all kinds of outstanding males on electronic screens.

Yet whether it was heavily hyped mega-stars or aristocrats carrying their own aura, none of them seemed capable of holding a candle to the one they had just seen.

After all, those stars relied heavily on photo-editing and plastic surgery, making them look like completely different people in person, while the aristocrats acted condescending and were always wrapped up in shocking scandals.

As for today’s figure, even sitting motionless right there, he was as picture-perfect as a painting; both his facial features and his temperament were unforgettable.

And more importantly:

“He seemed really gentle…”

One of the soldiers couldn’t help muttering.

“Yeah, he didn’t get angry at all.”

How could there be such a handsome and sweet-tempered male insect in the world? When he looked at you with those pale golden eyes, his gaze practically seemed filled with deep affection.

As the two soldiers talked on and on, their thoughts drifted who-knows-where, and their faces turned red all over again.

“There isn’t even a bed in that detention block. Is it really okay to lock him in there?”

“Yeah, will he get cold? Otherwise, let’s go find a mat to lay down for him…”

“Someone should probably keep watch on him tonight too, just in case he gets hungry.”

“You guys are enough!”

Baby-face interrupted them angrily.

“You’ve got your calculations running loud. Every single one of you! You lose your footing the moment you see a male.”

As he spoke, a complicated expression crossed his face.

“Where on earth are there any gentle males? Once you get addicted to their pheromones, they’ll treat you like beasts of burden and then throw you away! Are there really so few examples around us?”

Hearing this, the other two soldiers immediately lowered their heads and fell silent.

“Males are all the same…”

Baby-face carried the towel away, raised his hand, and after a long hesitation, finally tossed it into the trash can.

“I couldn’t care less about their lives or deaths.”

The next day, during their shift rotation again, baby-face had just walked over to the detention area when he discovered a crowd already gathered there.

“Captain.” A soldier hurried running toward him.

Baby-face frowned.

“What are you guys doing? This isn’t a zoo!”

“That male, he has a fever!”

Baby-face’s expression shifted, and he hastily pushed through the front to walk inside.

That exceptionally gorgeous male was indeed lying on the floor of the prison room.

His military jacket had been taken off and spread out on the floor, while he wore only a form-fitting undershirt, which made his slender yet somewhat delicate figure all the more apparent. His brow was furrowed slightly, his long eyelashes tightly shut, and his naturally pale complexion was now flushed bright red with fever.

Baby-face walked over, reached out to touch him, and sucked in a sharp breath.

This male was burning all over; was he running a fever close to forty degrees Celsius?

Not only that, but just from having his arm restrained for a brief moment yesterday, a ring of gruesome bruises had already blossomed on his fair skin, looking extremely frightening. The cut on his forehead from yesterday showed no signs of healing whatsoever, and the blood had stained his surrounding silver hair pink.

Good lord. They had just slept one night in the prison, so how did he manage to fall this sick?

If the detention block wasn’t heavily guarded, baby-face would have almost suspected someone had sneaked in overnight to subject this male to some inhumane torture.

“What are you all standing around for? Take him to the medical bay!”

The largest female present was heavily built, standing roughly two meters tall and looking rather like a bear. When asked, his entire face turned red as he nervously wrung his uniform hem, sweating in his palms. “I, I tried just now, but I couldn’t pick him up…”

“How could you not pick him up?!”

Military females underwent rigorous training. Carrying heavy loads on runs was routine work. How heavy could this pretty male possibly be?

“No, it’s not that he’s heavy, it’s just that the moment I touched him, I lost all my strength…”

“What are you talking about?!”

“Isn’t he just a male? He’s lighter than a sandbag.”

As he spoke, baby-face had already reached out and lifted Eugene’s upper body. Unconscious, Eugene let his head rest against baby-face’s arm.

Baby-face instantly stiffened. His ears turned red, but he still put up a tough front.

“However, cough, I don’t want to carry him. I’ll give him a piggyback instead…”

He switched postures, but the moment Eugene leaned against his back, his entire face flushed blazing red.

Who knew what kind of magic this male carried on him? A proximity as intimate as an embrace made his entire spine tingle and his heart hammer like a drum, actually leaving his legs too weak to stand!

Baby-face squatted in place for a long time. Raising his head, he saw everyone staring right at him, which instantly triggered his anger.

“No wait, why should I be carrying a prisoner anyway? Hurry up and get a stretcher over here!”
