Wang Tianlin nodded as if he'd had an epiphany, but in the next instant, his expression turned grim.
Then, his eyes narrowed slightly, a mysterious glint flashing within them.
"Your Wang Family may be powerful, but this is no place for you to act so brazenly!"
"And you dare provoke Young Master Lin? You're just a nephew who's never even lived with the main family. Hell, even Wang Ningshui would have to bow her head to Young Master Lin. Who the hell do you think you are?!"
This outburst left Su Linlin and Jiang Yuelian utterly stunned. A man of the Wang Family was being cursed out by this old codger. It was a complete and utter humiliation for Wang Kai.
Wang Kai's face changed in an instant. He didn't lash out, however, instead taking a deep breath to quell his rage.
He gritted his teeth and spoke. "Heh, and who do you think you are? I'm still a young master from the Wang Family's direct line. What gives you the right to lecture me?"
"Let me tell you something. I came here today to deal with that stinking beggar. You'd best stay out of it, or don't blame the Wang Family when things get ugly!"
'I've made up my mind. Even if it means being punished later, I have to utterly humiliate Lin Feng today!'
Upon hearing Wang Kai's words, Wang Tianlin raised an eyebrow, a flicker of amusement on his face.
"Oh? You're quite arrogant, aren't you, Wang Kai? The Wang Family wants to come after me? Feel free to try. If your family really dares to make a move, I don't mind playing along."
Wang Tianlin paused, his tone suddenly turning grave.
"As I recall, your father's position isn't very high, is it? Acting so wantonly... aren't you afraid he'll lose it?"
As soon as he said this, Su Linlin and Jiang Yuelian panicked.
They never imagined that Wang Tianlin, the richest man in Xijing City, would say something like that!
Meanwhile, Lin Feng watched from the back with great interest. 'Small fry like this really aren't worth my time.'

Su Linlin asked, her voice trembling. Her pretty face was a mask of sorrow and grievance.
Beside her, Jiang Yuelian also looked like she was on the verge of tears, tightly gripping the sleeve of Wang Kai's shirt.
