The Divine Realm.

God-Hidden Sect, Mystic Mist Hall.

Sea-like mist and spiritual clouds surged and rolled as immortal peach trees freely absorbed the surrounding spiritual energy. Peach blossom petals, having gained sentience, danced up and down, chasing one another in leisurely play.Full novel: The Capricious Lord Kills Me First, Then Loves Me — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Suddenly, a woman’s startled gasp came from within the hall, and the petal spirits fell silent one by one.

“What? You want me to go to the Cultivation Realm?”

Luo Qi shot to her feet, shock flickering in her eyes as she stared at her master seated at the head of the hall—Divine Lord Cang Chen of the Divine Realm.

The Venerable Zheng Yun and Venerable Kong Yu, seated beside Cang Chen, were equally taken aback by the news.

“Senior Brother, Sect Master.” Venerable Zheng Yun snapped shut the fan he had been lazily waving, and the usual frivolous smile on his face faded somewhat.

He turned his head to look at Divine Lord Cang Chen, who sat as immovable as a mountain in the master’s seat, and said disapprovingly:

“Senior Brother, has our God-Hidden Sect run out of people? You’re sending little Qi’er, the youngest disciple in the sect, to a godforsaken backwater place like the Cultivation Realm?”

Zheng Yun’s tone carried an indescribable disdain, as if he bore some deep-seated grudge against the Cultivation Realm.

Venerable Kong Yu, who usually clashed with Zheng Yun over his incorrigibly mischievous nature, surprisingly didn’t take the opportunity to mock him this time. Instead, he also addressed Cang Chen:

“Indeed, Senior Brother, Sect Master. If you want little Qi to gain experience, you could easily choose another auspicious location. There’s truly no need to toss my precious junior niece into such a godforsaken place.”

Cang Chen, having been “dissuaded” from all sides, listened to his junior brothers’ and sisters’ assessment of the Cultivation Realm and couldn’t help but twitch at the corners of his mouth.

The Cultivation Realm was, after all, one of the three thousand lower worlds with the densest spiritual energy and the most cultivators who had transcended heavenly tribulations to become Loose Immortals. Yet in their mouths, it had somehow become a garbage dump.

Standing in the center of the hall, silently pondering her master’s intentions, Luo Qi suddenly seemed to think of something. She looked up at Cang Chen with a face full of mixed emotions and said:

“Master, even if you’re dissatisfied with me for not cultivating diligently and find me displeasing, you don’t have to exile me to the lower realm, do you?”

At this, Cang Chen truly couldn’t sit still anymore. He shook his white beard and glared at Luo Qi in exasperation.

“Exile! As my only personal disciple, I would exile anyone before I’d exile you.”

Luo Qi: “…”

Second Elder Zheng Yun: “…”

Third Elder Kong Yu: “…”

Cang Chen couldn’t be bothered to say more. He raised his sleeve and waved it lightly through the air. The spiritual energy before them rippled faintly, and then a Streaming Light Chrono-Mirror bearing an ancient aura materialized out of thin air.

White light flickered within the mirror, quickly coalescing into an image.

A man gripped a long spear, leading a host of subordinates as he stormed straight through the various factions of the Immortal Alliance. Like skewering meatballs, the powerful immortals couldn’t withstand even a single move from him—his spear pierced straight through their chests and lungs, killing them in one blow.

The man wore a golden mask, obscuring his face and expression, but his thin lips were visible, pressed tightly together. His entire being radiated murderous aura as he charged into the sacred grounds of the immortal sects like he was entering uninhabited territory.

Everywhere he passed, corpses littered the fields and blood flowed like rivers!

The vast and ethereal immortal realm had instantly become a purgatory.

Even Zheng Yun and Kong Yu, who had weathered countless great battles, couldn’t help but furrow their brows at the scene in the mirror.

“Senior Brother,” Zheng Yun said with a grave expression, “this man…”

Cang Chen withdrew his gaze from the mirror, looked at Luo Qi, and sighed.

“This is the immortal realm a hundred years from now.”

“A hundred years?” Kong Yu said in astonishment. “How is that possible? For a demonic fiend capable of throwing the Six Realms into chaos to emerge, it would take at least a thousand years. The Six Realms are at peace now—how could such a purgatory appear just a hundred years from now?”

Cang Chen reseated himself at the head of the hall and said to them:

“This man is the second son of the demon clan in the lower realm, but his destiny is extraordinary. He was born neither demon nor fiend, with a volatile and unpredictable temperament, possessing the power to overturn and wreak havoc upon the world.”

Luo Qi, Zheng Yun, and the others couldn’t help but let their gazes fall once more upon the man in the dark robe within the Chrono-Mirror.

They heard Cang Chen continue:

“I only divined these past two days that a world-ending catastrophe would inexplicably descend upon the Six Realms a hundred years from now. I originally intended to use the power of the Chrono-Mirror to strike him down directly, but this man’s destiny is too strange—even the Chrono-Mirror cannot harm him in the slightest.”

“Left with no choice, I had to settle for a compromise: sending someone to the Cultivation Realm in person.”

Luo Qi understood Cang Chen’s intention and asked, “So Master means for your disciple to go ahead of time and kill this demonic fiend?”

Hearing this, a trace of something unusual flickered through Cang Chen’s eyes. He looked at Luo Qi, his tone carrying a hint of profound meaning.

“If my disciple possesses such ability—to kill this fiend before his wings are fully grown—that would naturally be for the best.”

Luo Qi: “…”

She had a feeling her master was once again implying that she didn’t cultivate diligently enough.

Looking at the ruthless decisiveness of the dark-robed man’s attacks in the Chrono-Mirror, and hearing the Sect Master’s words, Zheng Yun immediately objected.

“No! Senior Brother, this fiend is too difficult to deal with. Little Qi’er’s cultivation isn’t even the strongest in God-Hidden Sect. Sending her off so rashly is far too dangerous!”

Zheng Yun paused, then added, “Senior Brother, I spent many years in the Cultivation Realm before and know it best. My cultivation is also rarely matched even in the Divine Realm. Let me go this time.”

Cang Chen didn’t respond to Zheng Yun’s words. He simply fixed his gaze steadily on Luo Qi:

“Although Xiao Qi’s cultivation isn’t the strongest in the God-Hidden Sect, she is the most outstanding among the younger generation.”

Upon hearing this, Zheng Yun and Kong Yu’s hearts skipped a beat. The two exchanged a glance, but before they could speak, Cang Chen raised a hand to stop them.

“Xiao Qi has the highest cultivation among the younger generation and the strongest adaptability. Besides, Qi’er hasn’t left the sect for training in years—this is a good opportunity.”

With that, Cang Chen deliberately asked Luo Qi for her opinion.

“Disciple, what do you think?”

Luo Qi: “…”

When it came to this point, what else could she say?

Luo Qi pressed her lips together, stepped forward, and asked Cang Chen, “So once I go to the Cultivation Realm, I just need to find an opportunity to kill this demon lord?”

Cang Chen looked at the Kunlun Mirror suspended in midair and stroked his three-inch-long white beard. “Yes, kill him… or, if possible, find a way to bring him to the Divine Realm.”

“The Cold Stream Abyss in the Divine Realm can purify all demonic and evil energy. This person has a special fate. If you truly cannot slay him, you can also use the spiritual water of the Cold Stream Abyss to cleanse the malevolent aura within him,” Cang Chen explained.

Hearing this, Kong Yu furrowed his brow and said:

“But Senior Brother, to bring someone from the Cultivation Realm to the Divine Realm, one must cross the Heavenly Chasm…”

At the mention of the Heavenly Chasm, Zheng Yun’s face was also filled with worry.

Yet Cang Chen smiled kindly at Luo Qi and said, “My disciple is so clever—she will surely find a way. Right?”

Luo Qi: “…?”

After leaving the Mystic Mist Hall, the Companion Divine Beast Xiao Bai, who had been holding it in for a long time, kicked off the ground and leaped into Luo Qi’s arms.

A fluffy little snow-white ball, its hind legs gently pressed against Luo Qi’s arm while its front paws rested on her robes, it said anxiously:

“Master, what kind of trick is that old man Cang Chen up to this time? He said you have a way—Master, against a demon lord capable of leveling the entire Immortal Realm to the ground, what way could we possibly have!”

The little furball was so angry its soft fur nearly bristled.

Luo Qi was about to smooth its fur and lift it out of her arms.

But before she could make a move, a slender, jade-like hand suddenly reached over.

Title: Forced Doting! Kissed Weak in the Knees by My Sudden Marriage Husband

Synopsis: Everyone in the circle knew that Su Wan Ci, hailed as the “Mortal Fairy,” had been kept and pampered by Fu Jing Zhou for eight years.

Everyone said their wedding was imminent. Yet overnight, Fu Jing Zhou cruelly clipped all of Su Wan Ci’s wings.

He thought he could completely control her from then on, turning her into a caged canary in his palm, possessing her forever.

Little did he expect that she would turn around and marry Lu Yu—the heir of the century-old prestigious family that was the only one Fu Jing Zhou feared.

Everyone said there was no way Lu Yu would want a woman Fu Jing Zhou had kept for eight years. He was merely coveting her beauty, tasting her flavor, and would kick her aside once he grew bored.

Until a video of just a few seconds exploded across the trending searches—

In the video, the noble and elegant man held the young woman tightly in his arms, kissing her until the corners of her eyes turned red. His hoarse, dangerous voice pressed against her lips, word by word:

“What did Wan Wan just say? Divorce?”

The young woman in his arms was worn weak in the legs, her clear eyes shimmering with faint light, her red lips trembling finely: “N-no… no divorce.”
