The car stopped in front of a huge palace in DHA Lahore.

It was not a house, it was like a five-star hotel.

Ayesha’s hands were sweating.

She was wearing the Rs.

80,000 red gown and the diamond necklace.

But she still felt poor.

“Listen to me carefully,” Rayan said before getting out.

He held her chin and made her look at him.

“My grandmother, Dadi Jaan, is very smart.

If she catches that we are lying, our deal is over and you will get nothing.

So act like you are madly in love with me.” Ayesha nodded, her heart beating like a drum.

“How…

how should I act?” Rayan smirked.

He suddenly pulled her closer, his arm around her waist.

“Like this.” His face was just inches away from hers.

Ayesha could feel his hot breath.

She closed her eyes in fear.

“Good.

That blushing look is perfect.

Keep it.” They entered the palace.

Inside, a whole crowd of rich people was waiting.

And in the middle, sitting on a royal chair, was an old woman with sharp eyes.

Dadi Jaan.

Everyone went silent when they saw Rayan with a girl.

“Rayan!

So you finally brought her!” Dadi Jaan’s voice was loud.

“Come here, girl.

Let me see you.” Ayesha walked forward, her legs shaking.

Rayan held her hand tightly to support her.

“What is your name, child?” Dadi Jaan asked.

“Ayesha, Dadi Jaan,” she said politely, bowing her head.

“Ayesha.

Rayan never brings any girl home.

You must be special.” She looked at Rayan.

“Is she special, Rayan?” Rayan looked at Ayesha.

For a moment, he forgot it was fake.

The way she was looking down shyly, the way she was holding his hand for support…

his heart felt something strange.

“Yes, Dadi.

She is very special to me,” he said, and his voice was so soft that even Ayesha looked up in surprise.

Was he acting or was it real?

Dadi Jaan smiled.

“Good.

Then let me announce something.

Since you have a girlfriend now, I will not force you to marry Sana.” Sana.

The cousin.

Ayesha had heard that name before.

She turned and saw a beautiful but angry girl in a corner, glaring at her with jealousy.

That must be Sana.

But the dinner was not easy.

Sana stood up.

“Dadi, how can you trust this girl?

She looks like a gold digger!

Rayan bhai, where did you find her?

On the road?” The whole room went silent.

Ayesha’s eyes filled with tears.

She felt humiliated.

Rayan’s face turned dark with anger.

He was about to shout, but Ayesha spoke first.

Her voice was shaking but brave.

“I am not a gold digger.

I am a waitress.

I work hard to pay my mother’s hospital bills.

Rayan did not find me on the road, he found me in a hotel where I was serving tea.

And yes, I am poor, but my self-respect is not for sale.” Everyone was shocked by her confidence.

Even Rayan was staring at her with admiration.

No one had ever dared to talk like that in his family.

Dadi Jaan suddenly started laughing.

“Brave girl!

I like her!

Sana, sit down!

At least she has truth, you only have makeup!” Everyone laughed, and Sana sat down with an embarrassed face.

After dinner, Rayan and Ayesha were walking in the big garden of the palace.

The moon was shining.

Ayesha was still upset about Sana’s words.

“You were very brave inside,” Rayan said softly.

“I had to.

She insulted me,” Ayesha said.

Rayan stopped walking.

He turned her towards him.

“No one will insult you when you are with me.

You are under my protection now.

For 30 days, no one can hurt you.

Not even my family.” He said it with so much possessiveness that Ayesha felt safe.

For the first time in months, after her father’s death, someone was protecting her.

“Thank you,” she whispered.

Rayan looked at her lips.

The red lipstick, the tears in her eyes, the moonlight on her face.

He lost control.

He slowly moved his face closer.

Ayesha’s heart stopped.

Was he going to kiss her?

This was supposed to be fake!

But why wasn’t she moving away?

Just when their lips were about to touch, his phone rang.

Loudly.

It was Sana.

Rayan picked up the call, his mood ruined.

“What?!” Sana’s jealous voice came, “Rayan bhai, Dadi is asking if Ayesha will stay here tonight in your room?

She wants to test if your love is real!” Rayan looked at Ayesha.

Ayesha looked at him with wide, scared eyes.

Stay in his room?

For the whole night?

The contract just got much more dangerous.

“What should I tell Dadi, Ayesha?” Rayan whispered, his eyes dark with desire.

“Should I tell her that my fake girlfriend is scared to stay with me?”
