[R-18] 15: Chapter 15 — A Doting Mama.

[R-18] Before him stood the grand doors leading to his mother’s chambers.

No matter how much time passed, visiting his family always brought him a sense of peace.

He knocked lightly.

The doors opened automatically.

The instant he stepped inside, a warm and affectionate voice reached his ears.

“Zeph, my darling!” Before he could even react, a blur of blue rushed toward him.

And before he could react, his face was stuffed into the softest marshmallows in the world, and the milky scent of them made it all the more intoxicating.

Some things, it seemed, would never change.

Even after all these years, Tiamat still spoiled him endlessly whenever she had the chance.

He was pulled along by her to a sofa where he was made to sit with her on his lap, facing him.

She was wearing a royal blue, semi-transparent nightgown that had a deep neckline and flowed down her legs.

It had slits on both sides that showed her thighs, her shoulders were bare, and a string held her dress in place.

Her abdomen was also uncovered, her belly button visible.

Just below her belly button was a heart-shaped tattoo in black, with “Zephyr” written inside it.

Her emerald-green eyes shimmered with warmth the moment she saw him.

Her azure hair was styled in a graceful side braid that enhanced her mature and elegant beauty.

Combined with her gentle smile, she possessed a charm that could captivate entire worlds.

A healthy blush colored her cheeks, while her naturally red lips curved into a loving smile.

The familiar gesture immediately made Zephyr smile.

“How did it go, dear?” she asked softly.

“Was the pill refinement successful?” “It was!” The excitement in his voice was impossible to hide.

He immediately began recounting the entire process, from the initial extraction of the medicinal essences to the final formation of the pill.

Tiamat listened attentively to every detail.

Occasionally, she would nod in approval.

At other times, she pointed out subtle mistakes he had made during the refinement process and explained how he could improve in the future.

Even after becoming a Tier One Immortal Alchemist, there was still much for him to learn.

Fortunately, he had the best teacher in the universe.

After hearing the entire story, a proud smile appeared on Tiamat’s face.

“Congratulations on becoming a Tier One Immortal Alchemist, my love.” The praise coming from his mother felt especially rewarding.

A smile spread across Zephyr’s face.

“Thank you.” “It was all thanks to your teachings, Mama.” The pride in her eyes immediately deepened.

No matter how powerful she became, hearing her son praise her would always make her happy.

The two continued chatting casually for a while.

However, after some time, Tiamat’s expression gradually became serious.

The change was subtle, but Zephyr immediately noticed it.

His smile faded as well.

If his mother was showing such an expression, then the matter was undoubtedly important.

“Now then,” she said.

“I actually called you here today because there is something we need to discuss.” Zephyr straightened his posture.

“What is it about?” Tiamat looked directly into his eyes.

“It concerns your future cultivation path.” His expression became serious.

He had expected many things.

This was not one of them.

Seeing that she had his full attention, Tiamat continued.

“Do you remember the discussion we had years ago regarding your cultivation?” “The one about sealing your cultivation and allowing you to recultivate from the Mortal Realms?” Zephyr nodded immediately.

“Of course.” “I remember it perfectly.” Back then, both Tiamat and Ophis had explained the benefits to him.

Although he had been born as an Immortal Emperor, he had skipped countless experiences and insights that ordinary cultivators gained while climbing through the lower realms.

By recultivating from the beginning, he would be able to understand every stage personally and establish an incomparably solid foundation.

“And I agreed to it as well,” he added.

Tiamat nodded.

“I know.” “However, I wanted to ask you again.” Her voice became softer.

“Have you changed your mind?” “Or do you still wish to walk that path?” There was genuine concern hidden within her words.

No mother would willingly watch her child suffer through hardships if there was another option.

Yet she also understood that true greatness required challenges.

Zephyr did not need time to think.

His answer had never changed.

“I still want to do it.” The response came immediately.

Firm.

Certain.

Without hesitation.

For a brief moment, Tiamat simply looked at him.

Then she sighed helplessly.

A fond smile appeared on her face.

“You truly are my son.” “What else was I expecting?” Zephyr blinked.

Tiamat chuckled softly.

“When your grandmother offered me the exact same choice long ago, I made the same decision.” A nostalgic look appeared in her eyes as if she were recalling distant memories.

“Looking back now, those years became some of the most valuable experiences of my life.” Her smile widened slightly.

“Perhaps stubbornness runs in the family.” Zephyr laughed.

That honestly sounded very believable.

After all, Ophis, Tiamat, and himself were not exactly known for backing away from difficult paths.

“Alright then.” Tiamat’s expression became serious once more.

“If this remains your decision, your grandmother and I will begin the necessary preparations.” “There are many things you need to know before the process begins.” She paused briefly.

Then added, “You can also consider this a trial.” “A trial prepared by both your mother and your grandmother.” The moment those words left her mouth, Zephyr’s eyes sharpened.

A trial.

Prepared by two of the most powerful beings in existence.

Instead of making him nervous, however, it only strengthened his resolve.

His determination burned brighter than ever.

His mother and grandmother believed in him.

They trusted him enough to allow him to walk this path.

They were willing to spend immense effort preparing everything for his future.

He had no intention of disappointing them.

Not now.

Not ever.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

He would complete this trial.

And when he emerged from it— He would surpass even their expectations.

While he was lost in thought, the sensation of his lips being taken and a slippery tongue entering his mouth was felt.

His eyes fell on the beautiful and bright green eyes of the lady on his lap, whose eyes were smiling at his as her tongue thoroughly explored his mouth.
