“President, what a coincidence—we’ve run into that overly beautiful girl again.”

Sikong Ji glanced at Assistant Li, who immediately fell silent.

After finishing her meal, Su Tian went to the supermarket downstairs to buy some fruit and snacks before preparing to take a taxi home.Full novel: The Daily Life of a Universal Darling: Are All the Big Shots Love-Crazy? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

When she spotted that familiar black car again, Su Tian hesitated for a moment before making a decision.

Inside the car, Sikong Ji was reviewing documents on his laptop when the car door suddenly opened. Disturbed, he looked up with displeasure toward the door.

Su Tian was startled by his annoyed expression and instinctively took a step back. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to… Ouch!”

As she stepped back, Su Tian didn’t notice the curb and tripped, landing hard on the ground.

Sikong Ji hadn’t expected his glare to frighten her into falling.

Assistant Li quickly got out of the car to help Su Tian up. “Miss, are you all right?”

“I’m fine, I’m fine.”

Su Tian was helped to her feet, but her ankle hurt from the fall. She stood on tiptoe for a moment, and when she looked up, Sikong Ji had already stepped out of the car.

“You’ve sprained your ankle. Let’s go to the hospital to have it checked.”

“No, it’s really fine.”

“Assistant Li, help her into the car.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Please, miss.”

Su Tian glanced at Sikong Ji, who had already returned to the car, then at Assistant Li, who was still supporting her.

“Really, there’s no need. I just tripped.”

“Miss, it’s better to get it checked. These things can be minor or serious.”

Seeing his insistence, Su Tian stopped protesting and let Assistant Li help her into the car.

Once inside, Su Tian caught a whiff of fresh pear blossom fragrance. When she glanced to the side, Sikong Ji was already focused on his laptop again.

Assistant Li got back in and drove straight to the nearest hospital.

“What should I call you, miss?” Assistant Li struck up a conversation on the way.

“Su Tian.”

“My name is Li Ming. You can call me Assistant Li. Do you live around here, Miss Su?”

“Yes, nearby.”

“What do you think of the new shopping mall, Miss Su?”

“It’s quite nice. The service is attentive, and it’s convenient for the nearby neighborhoods.”

“Is there anything you think the mall could improve?”

Su Tian thought for a moment. She hadn’t visited often, so she wasn’t sure. “Everything seems fine to me.”

“I see. Are you still a student, Miss Su?”

“No, I’m working.”

“What do you do?”

Sikong Ji looked up at Assistant Li. “Are you conducting a census?”

Assistant Li pressed his lips together and fell silent.

“It’s all right. I’m a video blogger.”

Assistant Li glanced at Su Tian’s face. “A video blogger? That’s nice.”

They soon arrived at the hospital.

Assistant Li helped Su Tian out of the car, with Sikong Ji following behind.

He guided her to a seat. “Miss Su, please give me your ID card. I’ll register for you.”

Su Tian’s eyes widened at the mention of an ID card. ID card?

Right—everyone needs an ID to function in society.

“System, I look completely different now. Will my ID card still work?”

“Don’t worry, Host. I took care of that as part of the after-sales service when you started your transformation. No one will notice—everyone will just think you’ve always looked this way. Pretty good, right?”

“Really good, System. You’re the best—absolutely amazing!”

“Hehe.” The System chuckled happily.

Su Tian took out her ID card. Seeing that the photo on it looked exactly like her current appearance, she once again marveled at how efficient the System was. She handed the ID card to Assistant Li to handle the registration.

Sikong Ji stood to the side like a wooden stake, motionless.

Actually, that wasn’t quite right—he was a handsome wooden stake. Everyone passing by, whether men or women, young or old, couldn’t help but glance in their direction. Especially the women, whose eyes seemed almost glued to him.

The hospital was packed on the weekend, and Assistant Li hadn’t returned yet after going to register.

Su Tian noticed a vending machine not far away. Feeling thirsty, she decided to buy a bottle of water.

As soon as she stood up, a sharp pain shot through her sprained foot, and Su Tian nearly collapsed to the floor. Fortunately, Sikong Ji reacted quickly and caught her in time.

Su Tian caught the faint scent of pear blossoms and felt the warmth of his embrace, causing a blush to spread across her cheeks.

“Are you okay?” A cool, clear voice came from above her head. The two had already separated, and Sikong Ji’s strong hands steadied her firmly.

“I’m a bit thirsty and wanted some water. I didn’t expect…”

Sikong Ji glanced at the vending machine nearby and helped Su Tian sit back down on the chair.

“Wait here for me.”

Su Tian looked at him, slightly taken aback. “Okay.”

Watching Sikong Ji buy water for her at the vending machine, she couldn’t help but admire his handsome profile, captivating aura, and alluring physique. On top of that, he possessed Purple Luck—who could resist trying to win him over?

“Host, are you daydreaming?”

“With such a handsome and wealthy man, who wouldn’t be daydreaming?”

“You’re a beauty yourself. Could you at least wipe your drool?”

Su Tian instinctively wiped the corner of her mouth, only to find nothing there. “You tricked me?”

“What?”

Su Tian looked up to see Sikong Ji, who had returned without her noticing.

“Nothing, nothing.”

Su Tian took the water and noticed the cap had already been opened. Did Sikong Ji open it for her? How thoughtful.

After taking a few sips, Assistant Li returned pushing a wheelchair.

“Registration is done. Let’s go.”

Assistant Li helped Su Tian into the wheelchair and took her to the orthopedics department, heading straight into the chief physician’s office.

The chief physician was a kind-looking middle-aged man with well-developed muscles, clearly someone who exercised regularly.

When he saw Su Tian and Sikong Ji enter, his eyes lit up. In all his years of practice, he had never seen such an attractive and handsome couple.

“What seems to be the problem?”

“I think I sprained my foot when I tripped.”

“Let me take a look.”

Su Tian sat on the chair and pulled up her pant leg. Both Sikong Ji and Assistant Li instinctively averted their gaze for a moment before looking at Su Tian’s severely swollen foot.

The chief physician put on gloves and gently pressed the swollen area. Su Tian immediately gasped in pain.

“Does it hurt?”

“Yes.”

“How about here?”

“That hurts too.”

“And here?”

“Painful.”

“You’ll need an X-ray to see if there’s any bone damage. The swelling looks a bit unusual.”

“Okay.”

“Check her lip too.”

Sikong Ji suddenly spoke up. Su Tian was taken aback and instinctively touched the corner of her mouth.

The chief physician glanced at Su Tian’s lip and then shot a look at Sikong Ji.

Who would have thought? Someone so handsome could be an abuser.

Sikong Ji instantly understood the meaning behind the doctor’s gaze, but he didn’t bother explaining.
