After Su Tian ended her livestream, she received private messages from several major guilds.

Su Tian already had two big supporters, was good-looking, and had a decent number of fans. Some guilds offered quite favorable terms, but Su Tian wasn’t interested.

She didn’t want to become a tool for others to make money, especially the kind that could be exploited and sold off without even realizing it.Full novel: The Daily Life of a Universal Darling: Are All the Big Shots Love-Crazy? — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Doing her own livestreams gave her freedom—she could stream whenever she wanted and stop whenever she didn’t. She already had fans, big supporters, and popularity, and she was earning a decent amount. Why would she be foolish enough to sign with a guild and let herself be exploited?

Su Tian rejected all the guilds that wanted to sign her, one by one.

Then, she sent a message to Qi Mo.

“Was that ‘Qi’ in the livestream room you?”

“Yes.”

“Why did you suddenly come to watch my livestream and send so many gifts?”

“I just happened to have time today.”

“Have you finished listening to the lullabies? Should I record new ones for you?”

“Sure.”

Su Tian recorded a few more lullabies—not particularly great but not unpleasant either—and sent them to Qi Mo.

“Host, could you please draw a Vocal Master card next time?”

“Do you think I don’t want to? Anyway, it’s not unpleasant, so just make do with it, okay?”

File sent successfully.

“I’ve sent them to you. It’s late, so get some rest soon. Goodnight.”

“Okay, goodnight.”

Qi Mo opened the file Su Tian had sent him. Su Tian’s unique voice echoed through the villa as Qi Mo lit a cigarette with one hand and stood before the huge floor-to-ceiling window, taking a drag.

After messaging Qi Mo, Su Tian also sent a goodnight message to Bai Jiuyuan.

Bai Jiuyuan looked at the message Su Tian had sent him: “Is this just a tease and then run? Or is it because another big supporter has appeared?”

…

The next day, Su Tian got up and started packing for her business trip.

As she packed, she realized she didn’t have a single decent outfit. With 1 million now, wouldn’t it be reasonable to buy a few luxury clothes?

She decided to visit a luxury store during her business trip. As for her luggage, she only brought two cameras—one large and one small—along with her phone and a few everyday clothes for changing. Her packing was that simple.

Once everything was packed, Su Tian took a taxi to the high-speed rail station and boarded the train just in time.

The high-speed rail from Shanghang to Tianquan City took five hours, while a flight only took two. Unfortunately, since Su Tian hadn’t booked her ticket in advance, there were no flights to Tianquan City available for the day. So, she had no choice but to take the high-speed rail. It was only a three-hour difference anyway, so she might as well just sit through it.

On the train, Su Tian scrolled through videos. At first, the person sitting next to her got off midway, and an older woman took the seat.

Su Tian listened as the woman chattered nonstop on the phone, giving her a headache. To make matters worse, her earphones had run out of battery, making the situation even more unbearable.

The train attendant tried to intervene several times, but unfortunately, it was no use.

Su Tian looked at the woman, who was still chatting on the phone, with a mix of despair and intense resentment. She just stared at her, unblinkingly.

Perhaps Su Tian’s masked gaze was too sorrowful, but the woman finally noticed the resentful look from the side.

“Am I disturbing you?”

Su Tian nodded.

“Sorry, I got too excited while chatting. I’ll hang up now.” The woman ended the call, and Su Tian turned her head away.

The woman felt a bit unnerved by Su Tian’s expression.

By the time they arrived in Tianquan City, it was already evening. Su Tian planned to head to the hotel first and then go out for dinner.

After checking in, it was already past eight in the evening. Su Tian quickly tidied up and prepared to visit the nearby famous Tianyou Restaurant.

Tianyou Restaurant was a theme restaurant based on the Tianyou game, featuring various 3D character statues and a wide range of character merchandise, making it a favorite among gaming enthusiasts.

Su Tian thought that since she would be cosplaying a character from the Tianyou game the day after tomorrow, she might as well visit the restaurant today so she could post the videos together later.

She took a taxi to the vicinity of Tianyou Restaurant, but traffic was congested. As it was a popular spot, many gaming fans came to visit, and cars couldn’t get close to the entrance. Su Tian had no choice but to get out and walk.

After getting out of the car, Su Tian recorded her surroundings with her phone. Starting from where she got off, there were oversized statues of Tianyou game characters every few meters, each surrounded by people taking photos.

Su Tian found the statue of the fox character and took a few selfies underneath it.

After visiting the statues, Su Tian entered the restaurant. To her surprise, the place was packed, and the wait time was two hours. Looking at the time—already nine in the evening—Su Tian realized that if she waited another two hours, it would be eleven. She could wait, but her stomach couldn’t.

Su Tian immediately decided to grab something to eat nearby instead. After searching for nearby dining options, she followed the navigation and set off.

However, as she walked, Su Tian noticed something odd. The area was brightly lit, but she couldn’t see any restaurants around.

She had to stop and check her navigation, only to realize she had taken a wrong turn. The restaurants were on another street.

Assistant Li was about to return to the company when, with a casual glance, he spotted a familiar figure.

“Miss Su?”

Hearing someone call her, Su Tian turned around and saw Assistant Li, who worked with Sikong Ji. What a coincidence! Too bad Sikong Ji wasn’t with him.

“Assistant Li?”

“What brings you here, Miss Su?”

“I’m here on a business trip, and I took a wrong turn with the navigation.” Su Tian showed Assistant Li her phone screen with the navigation.

“The restaurants you’re looking for are on another street. Just turn right ahead and go back.”

“Are you familiar with this area, Assistant Li?”

“I work nearby.”

“I see. Have you eaten yet? Want to join me?”

Assistant Li thought for a moment. He hadn’t had dinner yet. “Sure.”

“Let’s go then.”

“Let’s go.”

As they walked and chatted, they returned to the street Su Tian had originally intended to go to. Compared to the brightly lit but sparsely populated street earlier, this one was bustling with people and lined with shops.

“What would you like to eat, Miss Su?”

“Since you work nearby, you must know which places are good. Why don’t you recommend something, Assistant Li?”

“Sure, just follow me. You won’t regret it.”

Su Tian followed Assistant Li to an unassuming restaurant with a bright and cozy interior.

“Assistant Li is here.”

“Mm.”

Su Tian noticed the staff were quite familiar with Assistant Li, suggesting he was a regular here.

Assistant Li led Su Tian to a corner table, and a waiter immediately brought over the menu.

“Any dietary restrictions, Miss Su?”

“None.”

“Then I’ll order what I think is good?”

“Sure.”

Just as Assistant Li finished ordering, his phone rang.

He glanced at the caller ID and walked to a quiet corner to answer.

“Didn’t you say you were downstairs at the company? Where are you?”

“President, I ran into Miss Su downstairs at the company. She invited me to have dinner together, and since I hadn’t eaten yet, I agreed. Is there something you need, President?”

There was silence on the other end of the line for a few seconds: “Where?”

“Shan Shi Tang.”

Assistant Li looked at the hung-up phone, put it away, and returned to the dining table.
