On the way, Su Tian looked at Sikong Ji driving the car. How could there be such a handsome person, and so wealthy too? He was simply a top-tier, high-quality fish.

“You’re looking at Sikong Ji so affectionately, and you’re not infatuated?”

“What infatuation? I’m just looking at a fish, a top-tier fish.”

Su Tian withdrew her gaze, and Sikong Ji glanced sideways at her, who had already turned to look elsewhere.

When they returned to the hotel, Sikong Ji didn’t get out of the car to see her off. Su Tian waved at him from outside the car.

“Drive carefully, stay safe.”

Sikong Ji nodded and drove away.

Watching Sikong Ji’s car leave, Su Tian felt troubled. How could she get closer to him faster?

Unable to think of a good solution for now, Su Tian could only turn and head back into the hotel.

After returning to the hotel and finishing her shower, Su Tian started editing videos. She combined the cosplay video she shot today with the check-in photos from earlier and posted it on Kuaishou.

As soon as the video was posted, many people commented.

— Wife is so beautiful.

— The cosplay looks so real.

— From now on, Daji is my main hero.

— I saw my wife in person today; she’s even more beautiful than in the videos.

— I can confirm, my wife is stunningly beautiful in person.

After glancing at the comments, Su Tian posted some behind-the-scenes clips in her fan group and then prepared to sleep.

Just as she lay down, her phone rang. To her surprise, it was Qi Mo calling.

“Hello?”

“Finished your work?”

Qi Mo’s voice was slightly hoarse, carrying a hint of mature steadiness—a very magnetic tone.

“Yes, just finished. What’s up?”

“Sing a few lullabies for me.”

Without asking why, Su Tian replied, “Okay.”

In the villa, in the dimly lit living room, a person sat on the sofa. His face was hidden, but his tall figure was visible. His fingers, with prominent bones and veins, held a cigarette that had already burned halfway.

In the quiet space, a voice filled with enchantment began to sing. It was this voice that eased the headache of the person sitting on the sofa.

After three lullabies, Su Tian asked tentatively, “Are you… feeling better now?”

“Much better.”

“That’s good.”

“I’ll send you the payment later.”

“No need, you’ve already paid before.”

There was a brief silence on the other end. “On a business trip to Tianquan?”

“Yes, it’s already over. I’ll return to Shanghang tomorrow. I haven’t asked for your name yet?”

Su Tian truly felt that among the three people with Purple Luck she knew, aside from Bai Jiuyuan, both Sikong Ji and Qi Mo were aloof and hard to approach.

“Qi Mo.”

“Such a nice name. I’m Su Tian.”

“I know.”

Well, conversation dead end.

“What’s wrong with you today? Are you unhappy?”

“A bit of insomnia.”

“I see. Should I record a few more lullabies for you later?”

“Okay.”

“Then I’ll rest now. I’ve been busy all day and I’m quite tired.”

“Mhm.”

“Goodnight.”

The call ended. Su Tian glanced at Qi Mo’s profile picture. Oh my, he seemed even harder to handle than Sikong Ji.

Su Tian recorded a few more lullabies with pure humming and sent them to Qi Mo before going to sleep. She was exhausted today.

In the middle of the night, Su Tian broke out in a cold sweat.

“Host, should you go to the hospital? Your face is so pale, like a ghost.”

“My stomach hurts.”

“Host, you’re bleeding!!” The System’s shriek made Su Tian’s head ache.

“It’s just my period, what’s all the yelling about?”

Feeling a bit lightheaded, Su Tian got up to fetch her phone, ordered a quick delivery service, and then went to clean herself up.

Her period was irregular, so she never knew when it would arrive and hadn’t prepared any pads.

After cleaning up, she used some tissue as a temporary pad. Looking at the red stain on the bedsheet, she knew she’d have to call someone to clean it tomorrow since it was the middle of the night.

Pale-faced, Su Tian sat on the sofa clutching her stomach, waiting for the delivery.

“Host, are you sure you don’t need to go to the hospital? You’re sweating cold sweat!”

“I need to go to the hospital, but not right now.”

“You’re practically dying, and you’re still waiting?”

Su Tian shot the System a glare, picked up her phone, and sent a message to Assistant Li.

“Assistant Li, sorry to bother you so late. I have severe stomach pain and don’t know many people in Tianquan City. Could you please take me to the hospital?”

“Host, what’s the point of sending a message? Call him! What if Assistant Li is asleep?”

“He won’t be.”

“How do you know?”

Just as the System finished asking, Su Tian’s phone rang. The caller ID showed Assistant Li.

“Hello,” Su Tian’s voice was weak.

“How are you? Is it very painful?”

“Yes, very.”

“I’m heading to the hotel now. Send me your room number.”

“Okay, thank you.”

“Don’t mention it. Wait for me.”

After hanging up, Assistant Li grabbed his clothes and was about to leave but stopped after two steps. He thought for a moment, then sent a few messages to someone.

At the hotel.

Su Tian received the quickly delivered pads and changed into one, but the pain was so intense she could barely sit still.

The doorbell rang, and Su Tian struggled to get up and answer it.

Seeing that it wasn’t Assistant Li but Sikong Ji outside the door, she looked surprised.

“Why are you here?”

Sikong Ji frowned slightly when he saw Su Tian’s pale face and the cold sweat on her forehead. “I’ll take you to the hospital.” He picked her up, and as she caught the scent of pear blossoms on him, Su Tian tightened her arms around him and smiled faintly, her head lowered.

“Host, was Sikong Ji the one you wanted to find from the start?”

“Exactly, it was Sikong Ji I wanted.”

“Then how did you know Assistant Li wouldn’t come himself?”

“Would it have been bad if Assistant Li came himself?”

One with Green Luck, one with Purple Luck—neither would have been bad, right?

The System gave Su Tian a thumbs-up.

It was also fortunate her period arrived just in time. If it had been a day later, she would have already returned to Shanghang.

Su Tian trembled from the pain. Sikong Ji looked down at the shivering woman in his arms and quickened his pace.

Arriving at the garage, Sikong Ji placed Su Tian in the passenger seat, fastened her seatbelt, and draped his jacket over her.

He got into the driver’s seat, stepped on the gas, and the car sped away from the hotel.

Su Tian clutched her stomach, feeling utterly miserable.

“Hang in there, we’ll be at the hospital soon.”

“Mhm,” Su Tian replied with a hint of a nasal tone.

At the hospital, Sikong Ji carried Su Tian straight to the emergency room.

The emergency room doctor asked, “What’s the patient’s condition?”

“She has stomach pain.”

“Just stomach pain?”

Su Tian nodded.

“Did she eat something?”

“It’s her period.”

“Extend your hand for a pulse check.”

Su Tian extended her hand, and the doctor took her wrist to check her pulse.

“Qi deficiency and body coldness, just needs some nourishment.”

“Can we ease her pain first? She’s in a lot of pain right now.”

“Yes, we can start with an IV drip.”

The emergency doctor quickly wrote out the prescriptions: “Take good care of her when you get back, replenish her qi and blood, and avoid raw, cold, or cold-natured foods.”

“Understood, doctor.”

“Go pay the fee and start the IV drip.”

The doctor handed the forms to Sikong Ji, who took them and lifted Su Tian into his arms.
