On the bed, the slender boy was held on a pair of strong knees, with no chance to resist.

The two were too close. The burning heat from their bodies transferred between them, making their faces flush and their hearts beat fast.

“…Can, can you not do this?” Qie Song felt like he was truly doomed. He didn’t need to look to know his entire face was bright red.Full novel: The Delicate and Frail One Everyone Hates — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

The heartbeat in his chest felt like it had no boundaries.

The boy, held by the waist on the other’s lap, was already blushing deeply. He looked youthful and delicate. Because of his nervous fear, his voice sounded like he was about to cry.

“Do what?” Bei-huai Lu had no intention of letting go.

He could only say that this guy’s “hard to get” act was masterfully played.

He had gone to great lengths to follow him and find his part-time job, maneuvered his way into his home to care for his injuries, and somehow found a way to crawl into his arms while he was sick. Now, he was putting every ounce of effort into this heart-tugging display.

Did he think crying would make him soft-hearted?

He was clearly exhausting every trick in the book just to make Lu fall for him.

Impossible.

“I want to get down.” Song opened his mouth, feeling as though his heart was jumping into his throat. He was incredibly restless.

“It wasn’t like this when the Young Master made me act like a dog. If you told me to kneel, I knelt. I did whatever you told me to do.” Lu noticed that Song was genuinely shaking; he was afraid of him. “Why aren’t you scolding me now?”

The desire for revenge buried deep within him reached a peak once again.

Make Qie Song cry. He had to make him cry.

“We can talk things over properly,” Song said, lowering his head. He didn’t dare look at the man. Sob… I’m a little scared. “…What do you want me to do then?”

Scold him? He didn’t dare provoke this big guy right now.

Was he trying to give him a taste of his own medicine?

“Let me think.” Lu spoke casually, taking in the sight before him as if it were a beautiful view.

Song: “…” He hesitated, then glanced down. “Um… why don’t we sit down and talk for real? Your knee is poking me, it’s not very comfortable.”

What a shameful position!!

As soon as the words left his mouth, he felt himself being lifted by the waist.

He let out a startled cry, reflexively covering his face with his hands. Then, he realized he was sitting directly on Lu’s thighs. The moment he felt it, he didn’t want to take his hands off his face.

He wanted to find a hole to crawl into.

Fine, Bei-huai Lu was doing this on purpose.

“Then we’ll sit like this.” Lu kept him on his lap. Seeing Song with his head down, hiding his face, the blush that his palms couldn’t cover seeped through his fingers. His ears had turned from pink to a deep crimson.

Even the section of fair neck exposed as he looked down was stained with a rosy hue.

It was a color of shame that went from the bone to the surface.

See? He really knew how to seduce people. Those other three were just like that—saying Song had a bad temper, yet they were still involuntarily attracted to him.

At such a young age, how could he be so wicked?

Just as Lu finished that thought, he saw Song secretly part his fingers, revealing a tiny gap. One round eye peeked through and happened to crash right into Lu’s gaze. His eyelashes fluttered like a startled small animal.

See? That trick again. Did he think acting cute would work?

Seeing that he couldn’t hide, Song seemed to reach a breaking point. He pressed his lips into a straight line and lowered his hands. Seeing that Lu was intentionally bullying him, he asked, “Are we going to chat like this?”

“I don’t want to chat,” Lu said.

Song: “…” He was so annoyed. This guy was completely unyielding. He desperately searched for a topic. “Then… is your body feeling better? You had a fever all night. I was watching over you.”

Lu lowered his hands.

Song seized the opportunity, trying to turn over and get down.

But he was grabbed by the waist and pulled right back.

The moment his stomach hit the other man’s rock-hard abdomen, his body froze. They were too close, much too close. He didn’t dare move.

“Watching over me all night? But just now, you were lying in my arms.” Lu noticed he had been changed into clean clothes. “Did you carry me up here?”

After saying this, he glanced at Song’s thin arms and legs.

The tops of Song’s feet resting beside him were slender. Because his skin was so pale, blue veins showed through the thin flesh. His pant legs were pulled up slightly, revealing thin, fair ankles that could be encircled by a single hand.

How could this guy carry him when he was so thin?

He looked like he’d cry if someone just pressed down on him.

“Just because I can’t carry you doesn’t mean you can question my care.” Song felt a bit of anger at Lu’s comment. He had sacrificed his sleep time, after all. “…Well, everyone gets sleepy eventually.”

His voice lost its edge toward the end of the sentence.

He was afraid Lu would hit him.

He finished speaking and saw Lu just staring at him. There was a faint, tired bruise-like tint under Lu’s eyelids, and his eyes were dark. His sick state was filled with a gloomy, despondent aura. This invisible pressure made Song feel a bit faint-hearted.

After everything last night, he knew he already viewed this person through a “fear filter.” No matter how hard he tried to overcome it, it was difficult. Plus, the task of saving a Bei-huai Lu who was on the verge of turning into a villain seemed even harder now.

Not to mention their current position.

He wanted to get down, but Lu wouldn’t let him. What on earth did he want?

Sob… bullying an introvert is so mean!!!

Lu had intended to continue his revenge, but seeing the boy on his lap flushed with a rosy blush, lips pursed in an “angry but not daring to show it” way, and eyes slightly wet yet still glaring at him…

It only made him want to bully him more.

Lu suppressed the curve of his lips. “Are you angry?”

So, he was afraid of this.

Song bit his lip and glanced at him. “Then… I want to get down, but you won’t let me. I said let’s talk, but you won’t. What exactly do you want?”

His words sounded incredibly timid and aggrieved.

Hearing the suppressed tremble in his voice, Lu knew he had truly terrified this arrogant guy last night. The boy’s fire had been completely extinguished.

After enduring for so long, it was finally his turn.

He let go of his grip, his expression becoming lax as he raised both arms to the level of his ears.

Seeing the chance, Song immediately scrambled off Lu’s lap. However, because his legs were weak, he tripped while getting off the bed and fell flat on his face.

The embarrassment was currently greater than the pain.

He scrambled up quickly and wiped his face, pretending everything was fine.

“Did you hurt yourself?” Lu reached out to grab his arm, wanting to pull him over, but he was brushed off.

Song’s eyes widened in fear. He immediately shook him off, then realized his reaction was too extreme. He carefully met Lu’s eyes and then silently put his arm back into Lu’s hand.

“…I fell.”

Sob… what should I do? Now I’m actually scared.

He had talked about saving the future villain boss, but now he was the one who needed saving.

Lu didn’t expect Song to act like this especially the way he shook him off and then carefully put his hand back. It was both timid and like he was acting spoiled. Lu remained silent for a moment and then couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

What a person who bullies the weak but fears the strong.

Perhaps he pulled the cuts on his mouth and chest, because he started coughing.

Seeing this, Song quickly stood up. “I’ll get you some water and your medicine.”

However, because he rose too quickly, he stood still for a moment. His ears were ringing, his head was buzzing, and his chest felt tight, but only for a moment.

Lu noticed he wasn’t moving and frowned, but he didn’t say anything.

This guy hadn’t taken his own medicine.

Usually, he only remembered to take it because Lu watched him do it every day.

Having thought that, Lu suddenly realized what he was thinking.

“I asked the teacher for leave for you. You should rest at home today.” Song stood for a while and felt a bit better. He guessed he just hadn’t slept well last night. “You can think about what you want me to do. As long as I can do it, I’m willing.”

He walked toward the living room, taking out his phone to order food for Lu so he could eat later.

He also checked the time; it was only 6:00 AM. He still had time before he had to leave at 7:00 AM.

So sleepy.

Fine, he would endure it.

Lu didn’t speak again. He just watched Song’s back as he walked out. He saw that Song was still wearing the same black hoodie and sweatpants from last night. A memory of what happened in the hallway last night vaguely surfaced.

Last night, did he ask?

Did this guy admit it?

Did he only dare to sneak into his arms to sleep because he had admitted it?

Song walked into the bedroom with a glass of warm water and the medicine. As soon as he entered, he saw Lu standing by the bed, taking off his clothes. He froze instantly.

Lu’s broad arms were stretching out of his shirt, revealing the “V-taper” of his back muscles. His body was covered in new and old scars. It was definitely not the physique of an average teenager. The strong, mature hormones radiating from his broad shoulders and narrow waist were not visible under his usual school shirt.

He was the type who looked thin in clothes but was muscular underneath.

Who would have guessed this person was only in the 12th grade?

Now he knew why Lu had such a physique—it was from boxing.

Lu took off his shirt, the neckline passing over the messy hair on his forehead. He glanced sideways and saw Song staring blankly at him. He silently put on a clean white T-shirt and then turned toward him.

The moment Lu approached, Song’s hand holding the glass trembled.

Lu walked up to Song and gripped his shaking hand. He saw the pills in Song’s clean palm. “Is this my medicine?”

Hearing Lu’s relatively gentle tone, Song gave a small nod. “Yes.”

“Can you feed it to me?”

Song: “?”

Lu didn’t let go of his hand. His other hand gripped Song’s slender wrist and pulled it forward gently. His tall, broad-shouldered frame leaned down, staring straight at him. His tone was casual:

“I want you to feed me.”
