He had walked into her store, fired a gun, and humiliated her in front of her employees, all because of some woman he should have killed days ago.

Yet she was his fiancée.

“Fuck you, Antonio.” She stood up straight, shaking with anger.

“You want a war,” she hissed.

“Fine, you’re gonna get one.” She reached for her phone and dialed a number.

An hour later, Antonio and Alex were in the air aboard a private jet.

Antonio stretched out on the long leather couch while Alex sat in the chair across from him.

Vincent walked over and took the seat beside Alex.

“They deserve death,” Vincent hissed, shaking his head.

A flight attendant rolled a drink cart down the aisle.

Antonio sat up and reached for a glass of water.

As the attendant moved away, he noticed the tension in Alex’s expression.

“What is it?” he asked.

Alex took a glass of whiskey, waited for the attendant to walk away, and looked at Antonio.

“Our cocaine shipment was stolen.” Antonio stared at him for a moment.

Then he turned his gaze to Vincent before looking back at Alex.

“Stolen,” he repeated quietly.

“From a secure hideout?

Who took it?” “We don’t have a name yet,” Alex said.

“Astra is checking the security cameras now, but whoever took it knew the layout.

They bypassed the alarms without any trouble.” “When did this happen?” “I got the message ten minutes ago,” Alex replied.

Antonio stared at him.

“I’m starting to think the person attacking us is a high-level insider.” Alex nodded grimly.

“After tonight, I agree.” Antonio looked out the window at the clouds.

“How much longer is this flight?” “Four more hours.” He stood up and walked toward the back of the jet.

He reached for the cloth curtain separating the seating area from the rest of the cabin and pulled it closed.

The attendant was standing by the table, she gave him a bright smile and moved to walk past.

But Antonio stepped closer to her.

He reached out and lightly traced a finger along her lower lip.

Instinctively, she parted them, taking his thumb into her mouth.

He pushed her down onto the leather sofa.

Without saying a word, she reached for his belt buckle.

Before long, she was taking him deep, pushing his hardness in and out of her mouth with a steady rhythm as he watched, his hand tangled in her hair.

Antonio gripped her hair tighter, and began to thrust harder, driving deeper into her mouth with a raw, demanding pace that forced her to adjust her grip on his thighs to keep her balance.

Moments later, it was over.

She pulled back, standing up straight as he settled his clothes.

She raised a hand, casually cleaned her lip with her finger, and licked it.

Then, with a smile, she walked out.

Meanwhile, back at the penthouse, Livy was quickly running out of ways to entertain herself.

Marco had already left, leaving her with nothing to do and nowhere to go.

She had already finished her meal and spent too long staring blankly at the kitchen television, until she couldn’t stand another minute of it.

She had wandered around the penthouse so many times that she was beginning to memorize every corner.

She decided to explore more.

If Antonio was going to keep her trapped in this enormous apartment, she might as well find out what was actually inside it.

She opened drawers, checked cabinets.

Most of them were empty and the others contained nothing interesting.

Then she opened a small cabinet near the end of the hallway.

Something black caught her eye.

She frowned and reached inside.

A phone.

Her eyes widened.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” She quickly pulled it out.

It wasn’t an expensive looking phone.

It looked older, with a few scratches across the back.

Livy pressed the power button.

Nothing happened.

She pressed it again.

The screen finally flickered to life.

Battery: 1%.

She searched for a charger but there was none.

She quickly rushed to the walk-in closet in the bedroom and hid it where Antonio wouldn’t find it.

Three days passed….

Three days since Livy had last seen Antonio.

She hadn’t seen him or heard from him, but every morning, she found herself wondering when he would return.

On the third morning, there was a knock on her door.

The door opened, and Marco stepped inside carrying a dress.

“Put this on,” he said.

Livy looked at him suspiciously.

“Why?” “You’re going to see your mother.” For a moment, Livy just stared at him.

Then her eyes widened.

“My mother?” Marco nodded.

Joy rushed through her so quickly that she almost couldn’t believe it.

She grabbed the dress from his hands.

The dress fit her perfectly.

It was simple but elegant, a wine-colored dress with a low neckline that fell softly around her body.

She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled for the first time in days.

A few minutes later, two guards escorted her downstairs to a waiting car.

The drive took nearly an hour.

They left the busy parts of the city behind and eventually arrived at a small diner on the outskirts of town.

It was quiet and neatly kept.

Livy stepped out of the car and looked around.

“Where is she?” “Inside,” one of the guards said.

They led her into the diner.

It was almost empty.

Since it was the middle of a weekday afternoon, only a few tables were occupied.

Livy barely noticed anyone around her.

Then she saw her.

Her mother was sitting alone at a table near the window.

For a moment, Livy couldn’t move.

Her mother’s face looked a little thinner than she remembered, but it was still the face she had missed every day.

“Mom…” Tears filled Livy’s eyes.

Her mother looked up.

The moment their eyes met, Livy ran across the diner.

“Mom!” She threw her arms around her and held her tightly.

Her mother hugged her back, crying against her shoulder.

For the first time in what felt like forever, she was in her mother’s arms again.

Livy pulled back slightly, tears still running down her face.

“I’m sorry, Mom,” she whispered.

“This is all my fault.

I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through.” Her mother gently wiped the tears from Livy’s cheeks.

“No, sweetheart.

Don’t say that.

I’m fine.

The Don is taking very good care of me.” Livy looked at her in surprise.

“Although I don’t know who he is,” her mother continued.

“I’ve never seen him.

But the people there treat me very well.

They give me everything I need, and they tell me about you every day.” She smiled softly.

“I just wish I could talk to you myself and know that everything they tell me is true.

But looking at you now…” Her eyes moved over Livy’s face.

“I can see that you’re all right.” She reached for Livy’s hand.

“Nobody is mistreating you, are they?” “No, Mom.” Livy quickly shook her head.

“I’m okay.” Her mother studied her face for a moment before giving her hand a gentle squeeze.

“Is it true the Don will let you go after a year?” “Yes mom.

We will finally be free after one year.” Her mother was quiet for a moment.

Then she leaned closer and lowered her voice.

“Now listen to me very carefully, baby.

I need you to seduce the Don.”
