Then Antonio whispered into her ear, “Don’t cry.

You wanted this.

Remember, not everyone is qualified to get into my bed…” He plunged deeper and faster…Full novel: The Don’s Captive Flame — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Oh!

The feeling was so delicious.

Her breathing became uneven until she suddenly woke up with a gasp.

It was a dream.

Her heart pounded as she looked around the room, and then she saw him.

Antonio was lying beside her, propped up on one elbow.

His shirt was off, and the bed sheet sat low on his hips.

His hair was messy.

He looked like he’d been awake for a while just watching her.

God, he looked entirely too edible right now.

“It’s all right,” he said calmly.

“It was just a dream.” Livy stared at him, confused.

“What are you doing here?” Antonio raised an eyebrow.

“I live here,” he said calmly.

She frowned.

Of course.

She had almost forgotten that.

Her eyes drifted around the room before she looked down at herself.

She was naked.

Her eyes widened.

Did they have sex last night?

No!

She would have felt that.

Right?

“Did you undress me?” she asked.

“You were tipsy,” Antonio said calmly.

“Why did you drink any alcohol when you clearly couldn’t hold it?” Livy stared at him.

“That’s not an answer.” A faint hint of amusement crossed his face.

“You fell asleep the moment we got back.

I simply took off your clothes so you could sleep comfortably.” Livy narrowed her eyes.

“You could have woken me up.” “You were exhausted.” “That still doesn’t explain why you thought you could just undress me.” Antonio raised an eyebrow.

“I didn’t look, if that’s what you are worried about.” “You expect me to believe that?” “I expect you to believe, that if I wanted to look at you, I wouldn’t have to wait until you were asleep to do it.” Livy’s face flushed hot.

She quickly pulled the blanket higher.

“What were you dreaming about?” “Huh?” “Your dream.” His voice was quieter now.

“What were you dreaming about?” Livy looked away.

“It was nothing.” Antonio studied her face.

She obviously had a wet dream.

Infact, It had taken all of his willpower not to pull her against him and show her what a real climax felt like.

“It didn’t look like nothing,” he said.

How was she supposed to tell him she had been dreaming about him?

There was no way she could say that out loud.

Just then, his phone rang.

The sound came from the side table.

He reached for it and glanced at the screen before declining the call.

He set the phone down and turned his attention back to Livy.

“What?” she asked defensively.

The phone rang again.

Antonio frowned as he picked it up.

“I have to take this.

We’ll continue this conversation later.” He pushed the sheets back and stood up reaching for his robe.

Livy found herself staring at the broad expanse of his bare back and the tight curve of his naked bottom before he slipped into the robe.

Her face felt even hotter, and she quickly looked away.

She had never seen a naked man up close before.

Get it together, Livy.

That was when she remembered the pen.

Had he seen it?

No way.

If he had figured out it was a camera, they wouldn’t be having this conversation about her dream.

That was just a theory…

She climbed out of bed, wrapped the sheet tightly around herself, and began looking for her gown.

Thankfully, she found it on the floor.

She quickly retrieved the pen and hid it in the same place where she had hidden the phone.

As soon as she turned around, Antonio was standing behind her.

Livy gasped and nearly fell, but he caught her before she could hit the floor.

“What is wrong with you?” “I was…” She swallowed.

“I was looking for something to wear.” Antonio said nothing.

Instead, he reached out and gently tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear.

The simple gesture felt strangely intimate.

Livy’s heart skipped a beat.

She closed her eyes, bracing herself for his hands to be all over her.

“I need to go.

I have important business.

I will be back in two days.” She opened her eyes.

“I’m bored.

I want to be able to go out.

I’m no threat to you.

Why do you still keep me locked up.” “Simple, Mia moglie.

You’re safer indoors.” Then he turned and left.

She sighed.

At least he didn’t see the pen.

She wore a simple sweater and some shorts and went back to the bedroom.

Antonio had already left.

She wondered if Marco had arrived yet.

She got to the kitchen and turned on the TV.

An hour later, the elevator door dinged.

It must be Marco.

At least she would get some company.

She turned towards the living room, and froze.

A man she didn’t know stood there.

“There you are, Livy Reed,” the man said quietly and gave her a nasty smile.

Before she could react, strong hands grabbed her from behind.

They gagged her, tied her hands behind her back and blindfolded her.

She kicked and thrashed, but she was hauled out of the penthouse, dragged down the corridor, and bundled into the service elevator.

An hour later, the bindings and blindfold were finally ripped away.

Livy blinked hard against the harsh light, breathing hard.

She immediately tried to stand up, but a strong hand on her shoulder locked her in place.

“Sit.” Across the room sat an elegant woman in a perfectly tailored dress, diamonds glittering from her ears.

She calmly sipped her wine, watching Livy intensely like she was some entertainer.

Sitting comfortably in a high-backed armchair, holding a custom-made walking stick with a family crest shaped like a silver bear at the top, was the family patriarch.

Lorenzo D’Angelo.

The disgust was written clearly across his face.

Livy looked around, her eyes widening as she recognized the room.

This was Antonio’s estate.
