This was the first time since Sukuna met an actual hero he admired in this life, the blood hero : Vlad King.

The man’s Quirk reminded Sukuna of the blood manipulating brat, since their powers worked the same.

Nor-something?

Shaking his head, Sukuna smiled at the man, before his eyes went to the crowd of people behind him.

Aizawa, seeing his class focused on the other, quickly explained.

“I forgot to mention that your first Heroics Class will be a joint-training one.

This, right here, is Class 1-A.” And with that, the man disappeared again, somehow..

Sukuna swore that his teachers quirk had to be shadow manipulation, or else this guy wouldn’t be as sneaky as a ninja.

Shaking his head, Sukuna focused on Vlad King, who was ditched by their teacher and was forced to explain the rules of this joint training class to them.

“Ahem,” The man coughed into his fist, gathering the focus of everybody around, especially Nejire, whom he had seen quickly flying over to his side of the class.

He had a talk with Aizawa earlier, knowing that she was the curious one in Aizawa’s class.

“My name is Sekijiro Kan, or as most of you know me by, Vlad King.

I’m teaching your rival class for this year, so I hope you all serve as great training partners.” Sukuna blinked, looking at the darkened expressions of his classmates.

Did the man seriously just call them stepping stones?

Sukuna chuckled, which broke the serious and gloomy atmosphere.

“My, how greedy.

I didn’t expect a man like you to be of the same type as I am, Kan-sensei.” Sukuna’s smile widened, until his sharp fangs were glinting in the air.

“Don’t worry, I’ll make sure your class gets taught a lesson that they’ll never forget.” “It is a shame that you’re not in our class, Midoriya.

Would’ve liked some more power, you know?” The blood hero wasn’t offended at being called out, returning a smile at Sukuna’s grin.

He nodded at the boy, before taking his focus elsewhere, namely, the rules of this impromptu setup.

“The tournament will be simple.

Two students from Class 1-B versus two students from Class 1-A.

And since Aizawa left me in charge to take care of some important matters, I’ll be changing the rules a little.

Since we have a student who can nuke one of our testing sites-” Sukuna coughed, not expecting their teacher to call him out like that.”-I’ll have Midoriya Sukuna be left on his own.

No free passes for one of your classmates, and two of my students can have the personal experience of fighting you.

How does it sound?” Vlad King personally asked this question to Sukuna, which Sukuna mused over, before replying back with a smile, once he recovered from the surprise call-out.

“It’ll be fine, throw as many of your students as you want, I’ll beat them all the same.” One student in Class 1-A practically exploded, glaring at Sukuna with anger.

“Who the hell does this guy think he is?

I’ll beat your ass on my own.” “Calm down, Gekido.

Since you’re a recommended student, you can ask your own classmates who took the entrance exam.” The scene quickly calmed down, with Gekido, the red-haired boy who insulted Sukuna earlier, paling at the explanation provided by his classmates.

Sukuna, meanwhile, just kept smiling.

Not bothered by the enraged student, nor the concerned looks from his classmates.

Did they really not get it?

He would hold back, so that none of Vlad King’s students get traumatized by the sheer power gap.

Sukuna wasn’t that evil anymore.

“The tournament itself will commence in the middle of this testing site, in a clearing surrounded by buildings.

Now that I’m done with these rules, let’s begin!” Vlad King took out a box, grabbing four seemingly random balls, before he looked at the names engraved on them.

“First match!

Gin Tsuki and Yasashi Taiyo versus Gekido Buru and Shizunaka Ki!” Sukuna raised a brow, now fully interested in the match ups.

This would be his first time witnessing his classmates’ usage of their quirks, so he hoped they didn’t disappoint him too much.

____________________ 20 minutes later…

Sukuna was disappointed, yet intrigued at the same time.

Gin Tsuki, the silver haired short girl who had berated him on their first day, had an interesting quirk.

She could manipulate light, but only the light that was provided by the moon.

How did a quirk like that even work?

Sukuna wondered to himself.

Since light provided by the moon was quite literally sunlight, couldn’t she do the same, or did the light that reflects off of the moon have a special property that only she can manipulate?

Quirks were truly a wonder, Sukuna mused, as he smiled.

Taiyo’s Quirk, on the other hand, was a simple one.

The gentle giant had super strength.

With their combined teamwork, Gin Tsuki and Yasashi Taiyo managed to knock the recommended student off of his high horse.

Speaking of their opponents, Sukuna also focused on their quirks, realizing that the boy who had insulted him earlier, Gekido, had a simple quirk as well.

‘His quirk is called Mogyu, most likely, since he transforms into a raging bull that tried to knock Yasashi off of his legs.

Yasashi simply grabbed him by his horns and tossed him into a building.’ Sukuna almost laughed at how easily the arrogant prick got defeated, but he knew that if it was anyone other than Yasashi Taiyo and himself in that position, they most likely would’ve gotten stabbed by his horns.

The girl, Shinuzuka Ki, had a wood manipulating quirk that also intrigued Sukuna.

She didn’t seem like a combatant, so the minute Gekido was knocked out, she surrendered.

Sukuna sighed in disappointment at the lack of combat, but was happy that he got to learn more about quirks.

He would have to discuss his earlier analysis with Gin Tsuki and see how her quirk worked, while also going out of his way to befriend Shinuzuka Ki.

She seemed like a support type hero, so it made sense that she wouldn’t be good in combat.

Sukuna wanted to make connections with her now, since he knew how useful her quirk would be in an area like a farm or a forest.

She could also make weapons out of wood itself, which Sukuna knew how useful they would be in a sparring match, or training.

He personally wanted a wooden spear, since he hadn’t practiced his spear techniques in a while.

He also wanted her to craft one for Izuku, since their financial situation had forced Sukuna to teach his younger brother spear techniques…by using a broom.

It was comical and embarrassing, yet it was the best solution for the both of them at that time.

Shaking his head, Sukuna focused on the next match, which was going to start any minute now.

“Next match, Nejire Hado and Mirio Togata versus Shikibuton Yomo and Shizuka Arashi!” Sukuna sighed yet again, knowing that this was going to be yet another boring match, but he hoped that Mirio’s opponents would atleast put up a fight.

____________________ Nejire knew that this wasn’t going to be an easy fight, since the boy with pure white hair kept glancing at them with the same gaze that Sukuna had.

Utter boredom.

Once the match started, she immediately jumped, flying upwards to dodge the attack that had covered the building behind her.

Nejire looked down, shocked upon seeing what was most likely..

Wool?

The same material hit Nejire mid-air while she was distracted, her face feeling like someone had punched her directly.

She grimaced, knowing that her opponent wasn’t going to be an easy one to beat, at all.

But she had a plan.

Nejire rushed forward, using her spiral shockwave to boost her speed mid-air, as the boy finally looked at her with what seemed to be shock.

He probably didn’t even expect her to this fast.

The thought brought comfort to Nejire, as she now knew her opponent had the speed disadvantage.

In a fight, speed was the most important thing.

Nejire blurred, appearing behind the boy, as she swept his legs out from under him, before blasting him with her Wave Motion.

After a little time, the boy got up, unharmed, as burnt pieces of wool slowly fell off from the front of his body.

Nejire frowned, knowing that he must’ve used the wool as a shield somehow.

The boy glared at her, now taking her seriously, before pointing his hand at Nejire and trying to hit her with two titanic waves of wool.

Nejire had never flew away faster than she did at this point in her life, with the wool rushing behind her like a tsunami.

Nejire simply manouvered around buildings, watching, as the buildings were flattened by literal *wool*.

The attack slowed down eventually, giving Nejire time to think and strategize while flying away, as she knew that her opponent would run out of energy before he could catch her.

But Nejire didn’t want to win like that, so she continued manouvering around the buildings, until she finally ran an entire circle, arriving back at the center of the testing site with a blast already charged and aimed at the boy.

His eyes widened, not expecting Nejire to still be in this fight, as he tried to turn his open palm into a fist.

He was too late, however, as he got blasted by a beam made from a shockwave.

Nejire sighed in relief, having held back her output, since she didn’t want to kill her classmate.

‘What a scary way to use wool..’ she thought, sweatdropping at his comical quirk.

She looked around, noticing that Togata seemed to be done with his opponent as well, standing over his knocked out classmate with his arms crossed and a smile on his face.

He nodded at Nejire, and that was the end of this match.

____________________ Sukuna was happy that this match wasn’t as boring as the last one, but he didn’t expect the white haired boy, Shikibuton Yomo, to be this capable at manipulating wool of all things.

What a hilarious, yet powerful quirk.

The boy had potential, which already had Sukuna’s blood boiling in anticipation, making him want to go down there and fight him instead of Hado.

He didn’t have to wait long, however, as the next match was called.

“All of you have done well so far, so I’m gonna cut straight to the main dish of this training session!

Midoriya Sukuna versus Kusatta doku and Bunka Hocho!” Sukuna’s grin widened, as he cracked his neck and stood up.

Beginning to walk to the center of the city, Sukuna calmed himself down by thinking about Mirio’s opponent.

Shizuka Arashi had potential as well, but his quirk was literally countered by Mirio’s disgusting mastery over his permeation.

What good was a lightning discharge when it just passed through your opponent?

Sukuna would have to teach the boy a nice technique he knew, which would fix his weak physique’s problem.

Or he could suggest it to Vlad King and have him train Arashi on it, which was the better solution.

All in all, Class 1-A had some very, very intriguing quirks.

Sukuna was happy that they could join them for this training session.

For now, he was going to focus on his two opponents, who, although looked confident, also had sweat running down their foreheads upon seeing him.

‘Ah, I can’t wait to fight again.

The thrill of battle is truly intoxicating.’ CREATORS’ THOUGHTS Hamood0831 Saving Sukuna’s fight for the next chapter, while also showcasing some quirks in this chapter.

What do you guys think?

Hopefully my explanation for Tsuki’s quirk made sense.
