After the announcement from Aizawa, Sukuna looked around, finding most of his classmates excited.

Namely, Nejire was vibrating in her seat.

“Like Universal Studios Japan?!” She finally couldn’t contain her excitement, bringing her arm up and shouting at Aizawa.Full novel: The Double-faced Specter — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“No.” Aizawa immediately shut down any excitement Nejire had.

To be fair, watching the girl deflate was kind of funny.

Sukuna waited for Aizawa to continue.

“Where I’ll be taking you all is a training facility owned by U.A, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint.” ‘Ah, that makes more sense.

Going on a picnic for a hero class is a waste of time.’ Sukuna thought, his eyes fixed firmly on the card that Aizawa was displaying.

Mirio, sitting right next to Sukuna, also brought his arm up.

“Aizawa-sensei!

What type of training will you have us do in that facility?” He asked, receiving an appreciative nod from Aizawa.

“It’s mostly disaster rescue training, since your first heroics class already covered combat.

This one, however, will train your senses in new environments.

I’ll just leave it at that and not spoil the fun anymore.” Aizawa stopped, walking out of the class.

“Get to the locker rooms already.

What are you all standing there for?” Aizawa sighed, irritated.

Sukuna, already having stood up, was the first to walk out of the classroom.

His classmates naturally followed.

While in the midst of changing his clothes, Sukuna, putting on his shirt, was interrupted by the voice of one Yuruginai Tamashi.

“Midoriya.

I want to thank you for letting me train with Togata and Amajiki, but I just have one question..

Is the training really supposed to be that intense?” The boy asked, looking at him with a confused expression.

“It’s kind of suicidal, at some points.” “Don’t worry, I’m keeping track of your progress too.

You’re just getting started.” Sukuna replied cryptically, before putting his hero costume on and leaving the locker rooms with a smirk.

Tamashi, having an even larger question mark hover over his head, just looked around with a confused expression, before he shrugged and went back to changing.

____________________ After everybody had changed, they found themselves greeted by the sight of Aizawa and a bus.

Nejire, who had actually become their president for real, stepped forward.

“Alright, everyone!

We’re gonna go and save some ass this time!

Get in line.” She rallied her troops, making Sukuna sweatdrop.

Sukuna was the first one to get on the bus, finding a seat near the back, as he leaned back, planning on relaxing all the way through.

Once every student was in the large bus, Aizawa himself stepped inside, walking to the drivers seat.

Once he sat down, he called out to everybody.

“I’ll be the one driving us there, I’ll also explain to you the layout of the facility itself.

It’s mostly a large, dome-shaped building.

Built by one of the heroes that teach here – the Space Hero : Thirteen – it’s gonna sharpen your sense in unfamiliar surroundings, and won’t let you get caught off guard if you’re in an environment that weakens your quirk.” Aizawa explained, as he began to drive the bus forward.

Sukuna narrowed his eyes, thinking on Aizawa’s explanation.

‘I’m guessing that it will have multiple areas, each one built differently then the rest, with each one that Aizawa sends us off to testing our weaknesses.

I have, so far, shown only divine flames and Dismantle.

Cleave as well, but they won’t be able to differentiate between those two, since they appear to be the same type of attack.

Hmm..

I guess they’ll send me to a flooded area?

The weakness of fire is water, so that makes sense, I guess.’ Sukuna thought, hand on his chin, as he mulled it over.

Once he was finished, he leaned back again, satisfied with his analysis.

“Suku-chan,” Nejire broke him out of his relaxation mode, making a tick appear on Sukuna’s forehead.

“We know what your Cursed Energy does, but that other day, when you talked about sorcerers..

What did you mean by it?

Are you a wizard?” She asked, looking at him curiously.

“Nothing of that sort.” Sukuna snorted at her question, before he continued to explain.

“A sorcerer is someone who has the ability to control and use Cursed Energy.

Since everybody in this world has Cursed Energy, I’m expecting another person like me to appear.

Someone who either has the quirk to manipulate it, or someone who has the natural physique and talent.” He finished it off with a sigh.

“It would be boring if I was the only one in this world, after all.” Nejire, however, wasn’t finished.

She continued to ask him.

“And your other abilities with your quirk..

Or quirks, you didn’t mention them to us, and I’m pretty sure you were too fast for anybody to see what happened.

Or atleast that’s what I think, anyways.

I wasn’t there to see it.” She rubbed the back of her neck, looking sheepish.

Sukuna wasn’t offended by her curiosity, since he had revealed about 20% of his arsenal to his teachers.

Why wouldn’t he reveal them to his classmates, too?

“My other ‘quirks’, or my Cursed Technique, is called Shrine.

It grants me the ability to cut anything I want, and be able to manipulate flames.” Sukuna patiently explained the basic concept of Shrine to Nejire, watching her nod.

“Huh, so that’s why Bunka’s knife shattered in your grip.

You didn’t even use your strength to do it, you probably just cut it into pieces, and then flung them everywhere with your Cursed Energy to make it look like you broke it with your sheer strength.

That’s smart!” The girl finished off her analysis, which impressed Sukuna greatly.

Sukuna didn’t know she was the type to analyze quirks, knowing that she and Izuku will get along greatly.

Given her sweet and non-judgemental attitude…

Nejire would be a perfect friend for Izuku.

Sukuna’s smile widened, which was a confirmation for Nejire.

“Wow..

So your control over your quirk is at a pro heroes level already.

As expected of my future husband.” Yuki butted in, nodding proudly.

The entire class sweatdropped at her lack of shame or embarrassment, wondering how the girl can even say that with a straight face.

Sukuna’s mood was ruined by Yuki, making him sigh.

“I’m not interested in anybody, Oshare.” “Thats why I said future husband, dummy.” “I still won’t be interested in anybody, present or future-wise.” “Nuh uh, you’ll fall for my feminine charm sooner or later!” Sukuna gave up.

He couldn’t be bothered to argue with her any further, so he just stayed silent.

Yuki pumped her fist in the air, taking his silence as confirmation.

Yuki turned, slapping her hand with Yuyu and Tsuki, who were sitting right besides her.

‘You go, girl!’ was what their eyes said, not wanting Sukuna to get together with Nejire at all.

Aizawa, who had been keeping his ear out for any interesting tidbit of information, had his eyes narrowed.

‘Quirk control on the level of a pro hero..

Just as I expected, that kid is a monster.

Not even a genius on the level of Shikibuton Yomo has control on the level of a 3rd year student, let alone a pro hero.

Why did Nezu have to dump him in my class of all places..?’ Aizawa sighed, feeling sorry for himself.

‘I’m assuming he’s not telling us about his third quirk soon, so any info about his second quirk is appreciated.

Shrine, huh?

Just as I thought.

Flame manipulation and slashes, what a destructive quirk..

This just confirms my theory.

I’m sending him to the flooded zone.’ Aizawa nodded, finished with his inner monologue.

They have already arrived infront of a large, dome shaped building.

Aizawa quietly stopped the bus, having learned information – which was incomplete, but information is still information – about his most troublesome student.

Once every student walked out of the bus, they walked until they were inside of the building itself, after passing the entrance.

It consisted of a large blue gate.

Sukuna’s eyes began to scan his surroundings, smirking, as he realized his intuition was correct.

This rescue training just got alot more fun.

Woo!
