What followed after the USJ incident, which is what the media liked to call their attack, was a bunch of teenagers being hounded by the media reports who tried to get anything, even a little bit of information, to destroy U.A’s reputation.

U.A’s reputation was damaged slightly, not as much as it would be in canon, but still, a villain had managed to sneak one of their experimental monsters into a facility owned by U.A.

U.A calmed down the storm that was softly brewing in the media, by declaring who the victor over the monster was.

A first year student called Midoriya Sukuna, who had gotten permission from his teacher and went ahead and beat the monster with ease.

This was U.A’s way of assuring the media that the monster wasn’t harmful at all, since even a first year student could defeat it.

‘Politics and all that bullshit.’ Sukuna grumbled, not happy about the fact that his identity got leaked, but he knew that U.A had to do what it had to do.

Still, they could’ve done better than leaking his fucking name.

Sukuna had his teacher standing outside of his apartment, scaring off any reporter who tried to break in and get a glimpse of him.

Sukuna didn’t like reporters very much, and was even about to use a net dismantle to just turn everyone of them into cubes, but Aizawa stopped him by promising to be there.

Now he had to be in the protection of a hobo 24/7.

Life could be better, but atleast Aizawa was doing his job correctly.

Sukuna still remembered the looks of relief and fear that his classmates had, and even Nejire was quiet after the police had arrived.

They took their time, asking each student about the monster that had broken into the facility, and had even asked Sukuna questions about what type of experiment the Nomu was based on.

Sukuna had answered them truthfully, with the end result being that a detective – who was called Tsukauchi – apologizing to him personally.

He went on about how it was horrible for Sukuna to be a killer at such a young age, but Sukuna felt too bad for the man to interrupt him.

The guy probably looked like a dead fish by now, so he wouldn’t correct him on what his first kill truly was..

“Sukuna, dinners ready!” came Inko’s shout from the kitchen, cutting Sukuna’s thoughts off.

‘Thank god.’ He sighed, as he stood up and walked to the kitchen.

The school had given them this entire week off to recuperate from the incident, and reassure their parents that they were fine.

That was the case for Sukuna, who had kept assuring Inko that he was fine, once she was fussing over about him being “Injured” or being “traumatized”, since the police did tell her that he was the one who killed the monster.

Sukuna sighed for what felt like the 500th time this day.

Killing for the first time in 15 years…it felt different.

Like this had weight to it, because it definitely did.

What Sukuna didn’t tell Aizawa, was how he had known that the Nomu was a mixture of multiple people.

Sukuna could see the outline of a person’s soul, which meant that he got to witness what a disgusting mess the outline of the Nomu’s soul was.

Or whatever was left of its soul, since it was close to leaving it’s body.

That thing…was a ticking time bomb.

Sukuna knew this based on the fact that it’s regeneration quirk was barely keeping its body stabilized, while the 2 other quirks fought for dominance in its body.

The fact that the outline of its soul was so chaotic, so rattling..

That solidified his theory.

And Sukuna knew why this creature came to existence in the first place.

His theory for this was because whoever designed this thing..was trying to combine quirks.

Or atleast create a quirk combination of two theoretically compatible quirk, which could only be achieved by Quirk Marriages.

‘Ugh, so disgusting.

The stench of its mouth, too..

I’m glad I killed that thing.

It’s soul looked to be in constant pain, so what I did was an act of mercy.’ Sukuna shuddered with disgust, still remembering the outline of the Nomu’s soul.

That thing was an abomination, and if even more of them were created..

Then Sukuna would destroy whoever is creating them.

Before they distorted people even further.

It kind of reminded him of that patch-faced Cursed Spirit, but no.

Even Mahito knew when to stop when he was changing the outlines of a humans soul, but this went beyond even that.

It perversely and forcefully had another soul try to fight.

As if the two souls were animals in a cage, and whoever did this was the spectator paying to watch them fight.

‘They need to be put in their place.’ Sukuna thought, promising to kill whoever did this.

It was the only right thing he could do for those tortured souls, besides liberating them.

____________________ “Master, are you sure we should’ve sent the Nomu after the boy?

It does have a downside of exposing us earlier than your original plan.

U.A will definitely increase their defenses by now.” Garaki, who had stormed into All for One’s lair, spoke.

All for One ‘looked’ at him, replying with an easy tone.

“It’s fine.

Tomura can destroy their barrier with ease, so our original plan won’t be hindered.

Besides, the defect we used was already going to blow up, taking down the USJ with it, so if that boy disappointed me, we would have twenty less heroes to worry about.” He grinned.

“How lucky for U.A and me, then.

I get to see a wonderful talent bloom.

I will snatch him up in 2 years time, note that down.

His quirk will be benificial for Tomura in the future.” All for One finished speaking, throwing a notebook at Garaki, who scrambled to catch it.

‘Keep impressing me, boy.

I have a feeling you’ll be very, very fun to torment in the future.’ His grin widened.

____________________ Sukuna, who had been sent a message by Nejire to meet up with her, Mirio and Tamaki, finally arrived at the park that they agreed to meet up on.

It was the now clean beach, Takoba Municipal beach park.

Nejire quickly waved at him, letting him spot them.

He walked over, picking at his ear, as he spoke.

“Whats up?

You guys said you needed to talk.” “Sukuna..can you please train us?” It was Nejire who spoke, surprising Sukuna.

Before he could ask, Tamashi, who had been invisible, appeared out of nowhere, startling Mirio and Tamaki.

“I agree with Hado because…

After seeing your display today, we realized just how screwed we could’ve been had you not been there.” Tamashi continued for her, with everybody nodding.

Sukuna, not expecting this outcome, just smiled at all of them.

“No.” His reply made them all deflate, as he continued to speak before letting them object.

“You’re all still too young to be fighting monsters like that, so leave it to me or Aizawa to take care of it.

Remember, I am The Strongest.” He declared confidently, making Nejire chuckle.

Nejire spoke up again.

“You’re..

You’re right.

I mean, why should we be worried if you’re here to protect us?

It’s kind of like having a mini All Might in our class.” She joked, making everybody chuckle alongside her.

“I promise that we’ll get stronger, though.

I won’t let you hold your umbrella over us alone.” “Me neither.” The three boys next to Nejire spoke up in unison, looking at Sukuna seriously.

“Alright, alright.

Instead of talking about strength and all that boring stuff, how about we go hangout instead?

We’re already outside.” Sukuna suggested, getting an enthusiastic nod from Nejire, and a smile from Mirio.

Tamaki just went along with whatever they did, and Tamashi nodded as well.

‘I won’t let you guys waste your youth.’ Sukuna thought to himself, looking at all four of his friends.

‘You guys can have as much fun as you want, since I’ll be the one who protects all of you.’ He smiled, looking up at the sky, which looked particularly beautiful today.

Hope you guys liked the chapter.
