One bright morning, Amanda and the Dragon King were in the Royal Garden discussing plans to improve the kingdom.

“I think we should build more schools for the young dragons,” Amanda suggested.

“Every child should have the opportunity to learn.”

The Dragon King smiled proudly.

“Your heart is always filled with kindness.

I will make sure your ideas are carried out.”

As they continued talking, the clear blue sky suddenly grew dark.

A loud rumble echoed across the heavens.

Boom!

Amanda looked up in surprise.

“What is happening?”

Before the Dragon King could answer, a brilliant bolt of golden lightning shot across the sky.

It did not strike the ground but remained suspended above the palace, forming the shape of a magnificent golden dragon.

The entire kingdom came to a standstill.

Every guard, servant, and citizen looked toward the sky in amazement.

The Dragon King’s expression changed immediately.

He rushed outside the palace gates and gazed at the heavenly sign.

“It cannot be…” he whispered.

Amanda hurried after him.

“What does it mean?”

The Dragon King remained silent for a moment before speaking.

“This is the Sacred Dragon Sign.”

“The Sacred Dragon Sign?” Amanda repeated.

“It only appears when destiny has chosen the next ruler of the Dragon Kingdom.”

Amanda stared at the glowing dragon in the sky.

“So…

a new king will soon be born?”

The Dragon King smiled.

“According to the ancient prophecy, the child born under this sign will become the greatest Dragon King in history.

He will possess extraordinary power, unite the kingdoms, and defeat every enemy who threatens our people.”

Amanda lowered her head thoughtfully.

“I have something to tell you.”

The Dragon King turned toward her.

“What is it?”

Amanda smiled shyly.

“I…

I’m pregnant.”

For a brief moment, the Dragon King stood frozen.

Then a joyful smile spread across his face.

“Are you serious?”

Amanda nodded.

“Yes.”

Without thinking, the Dragon King lifted Amanda into the air and laughed with happiness.

“I’m going to be a father!”

The palace guards and servants applauded as the news spread throughout the kingdom.

“The Queen is expecting a child!”

“Long live the future Crown Prince!”

The Dragon King gently placed Amanda back on the ground and held both of her hands.

He looked once more at the golden dragon shining in the sky.

“It wasn’t announcing the birth of just any child.”

Amanda smiled.

“It was announcing our child.”

The Dragon King’s eyes filled with pride.

“Our son will not be an ordinary prince.

He has been chosen by destiny.”

Amanda gently placed a hand on her stomach.

“I pray he grows to become kind and just.”

“He will,” the Dragon King replied.

“With a mother like you, he will learn compassion.

With a father like me, he will learn courage.”

That evening, the Heavenly Palace held a magnificent celebration.

Music echoed through every hall as dragons from every corner of the kingdom gathered to congratulate their king and queen.

The High Priest raised his staff toward the heavens.

“May the future Crown Prince bring peace to our kingdom for generations.”

Everyone cheered.

“Long live the Dragon King!”

“Long live Queen Amanda!”

“Long live the future Crown Prince!”

But far beyond the borders of the Dragon Kingdom, hidden deep within the dark mountains, a mysterious figure watched the golden sign fade from the sky.

“So…” the stranger said with a cold smile.

“The child of prophecy has finally been conceived.”

His eyes glowed with hatred.

“Then I must destroy him before he is born.”

As thunder rolled across the heavens once again, the shadow disappeared into the darkness, and the first step toward a new war had silently begun
