Prince Kadosh wasted no time.

Still dressed in his night robe, he rushed through the silent corridors toward the Ancient Chamber.

When he arrived, he froze.

The Ancient Door was no longer glowing with a gentle golden light.

Instead, brilliant streams of gold and silver flowed across its surface like living rivers.

The Greek inscriptions shone so brightly that the entire chamber looked like daylight.

The Dragon King and Queen Amanda arrived moments later.

“Kadosh!” Amanda called.

“What happened?”

“I saw the light from my window,” he replied.

“It’s different this time.”

The Dragon King stared at the door without speaking.

His face grew pale.

“This has never happened…”

The ground suddenly trembled.

The glowing symbols began moving across the stone door, forming circles and strange patterns.

Princess Angelina hurried into the chamber with Prince Zuki in her arms.

“Everyone is awake,” she said nervously. This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.

“The whole palace can feel the shaking.”

Little Prince Zuki looked at the glowing door with innocent curiosity.

“Mother…

the door is beautiful.”

Before anyone could respond, Zuki stretched out his tiny hand toward it.

“No!” Amanda cried.

Angelina quickly pulled him back.

The moment Zuki’s hand moved away, the shaking stopped.

Silence filled the chamber.

The Dragon King slowly turned toward his grandson.

“It reacted…”

Kadosh frowned.

“What do you mean?”

The king looked at the glowing symbols.

“It has ignored every Dragon King for thousands of years.”

He looked at Prince Zuki.

“But tonight…

it responded to him.”

Then…

A loud, deep voice echoed from inside the Ancient Door.

Not one person could tell whether it was a man’s voice or something far older.

“The time is drawing near…”

The chamber grew cold.

The torches around the walls extinguished themselves.

Only the light from the Ancient Door remained.

The mysterious voice spoke again.

“The covenant cannot be broken…”

“The chosen bloodline must fulfill the promise…”

Suddenly, the glowing light formed the shape of a magnificent dragon with wings made of pure light.

It circled above Kadosh before disappearing into the Ancient Door.

At that very moment, far away on Earth…

Deep beneath a forgotten mountain…

A pair of crimson eyes slowly opened in the darkness.

A cold smile spread across an unseen face.

“So…”

“The heir of the Dragon Kingdom has finally awakened.”
