Older people always face three major troubles.
Hair loss, insomnia, and constipation…
Well, even in a magical world, these three issues are eternal troubles for elderly people.
Huh?!
No, wait, she’s an Alchemist now!
Is it possible to concoct alchemy potions to solve these problems?
If it is, wouldn’t that make a fortune?
Think about it, even issues that trouble the ‘Master of the Mage Tower’!
“Clatter clatter——” The sound of a refreshing flush from the Magic Gate interrupted Ellie’s thoughts.
After half an hour of “constipation broadcast,” the Duke’s study was enveloped in silence.
Even though, during this time, Charlie Cullen tried multiple times to stop the ring that opened the Magic Teleportation Gate, magic items aren’t something you can just stop at will.
Balk and a few Great Knight Commanders lowered their heads, their shoulders suspiciously trembling slightly.
In stark contrast, the Royal Knights standing behind Lord Cullen.
The Royal Knights in silver armor each looked as green as turtles.
Hearing the straining sounds of the Master of the Mage Tower, the old man, for half an hour, “Mmm…
Ah…
Hiss ha…” Ellie awkwardly scratched at a ‘Kostanyn’.
She silently made a ‘The Radiance Seal’ in her mind, hoping that when the old man stepped out, he could accept the socially disastrous scene he was forced into.
Oh, Amen, uh, God of The Radiance.
Accompanied by extremely slow footsteps coming from the other side of the Magic Gate.
Ellie couldn’t help but think: Did the old man’s legs get numb from squatting…?
Then, there was a shocking curse, “Sh*t!!!
Why is there an opened Magic Gate here???”
“Pfft—cough cough.” A Great Knight Commander of the Coldcrest Knights couldn’t hold it in, choked, and tried to cough to cover it up.
Afterwards, a wrinkled old face cautiously peeked out from the other side of the Magic Gate.
Then, the “Master of the Mage Tower” unexpectedly looked into more than a dozen pairs of eyes in the study…
The old man looked around the room expressionlessly, his gaze finally locking onto Charlie Cullen.
Ellie thought, at that moment, the old man wanted to cast a Forbidden Curse and send everyone in the room straight to The Western Heaven.
But, the world of adults is always cruel and realistic.
10 minutes later.
The old man sat expressionlessly on a single sofa in the study.
In a deep red mage robe, wise silver hair, and a beard as long as his chest.
Simply like the old headmaster from a famous magic literature.
Hmm, the constipated headmaster.
Ellie sipped her tea, pretending to be blind, unable to see the full-screen “sh*t” above the silent old man’s head.
Charlie Cullen, unlike his previous cheeky manner, flattered the ‘Master of the Mage Tower’ with all kinds of compliments.
Ellie silently filtered out the flattery in her mind and summarized silently:
‘So sorry for disturbing your constipation, since you’re done now, could you [perform] some magic to scare the foolish deer in the Duchy.’
Ellie thought, with such language skills, he lives so well entirely because his sister could make the King of The Kingdom of Clark go head over heels.
Ellie couldn’t help but see how the “Master of the Mage Tower” reacted to this.
[Convenient my ass!
I might as well turn you into sh*t right now!]
She wanted to laugh, so she quickly lowered her head, pretending to drink tea, but couldn’t hold back, and ended up blowing bubbles into the cup.
“Glug glug…”
The Duke sitting next to her noticed the bizarre sound, glanced sideways, and then fell silent.
The “Master of the Mage Tower” named Jupis remained silent for a full ten seconds without spitting any profanities at Charlie Cullen.
He coldly glanced at the Duke of Coldcrest, his nearly white eyebrows knotted, “You are Artor Coldcrest?
I’ve heard a little about you.”
But above his head the bubble was:
[It’s a pity, the God of Magic decreed, forbidding mages from pledging allegiance to him.]
[Otherwise, he would be a better refuge than Harry Clark.]
This was indeed quite some information.
Ellie’s emerald-like eyes widened slightly; how did this get involved with deities?
She couldn’t help but sneak a glance at the top of the Duke’s head, it was still blank.
So here’s the question.
If her Mind Reading Technique can see through the “Master of the Mage Tower,” why is the Duke the exception?
Charlie Cullen certainly knew how to flatter, his eyes turning as he said, “The Royal Capital bathes in your magical brilliance, but in the Duchy of Coldcrest, not even an apprentice mage is to be seen.”
“Why not let the brilliance of magic illuminate the barren Duchy of Coldcrest?”
Ellie looked at her “father-in-law once removed,” Charlie Cullen, who never ceases to seek death, in awe.
However, Lord Cullen’s words struck a chord with Jupis.
Ten minutes later, Jupis, Lord of the Red Tower, in a red mage robe, appeared on the training ground of the Coldcrest Knights.
Not far away, the newly formed Order of Knights was practicing.
Seeing someone in mage robes appear in the Duchy, they all flocked over to watch the commotion.
So, under the watchful eyes of the crowd, Jupis, Lord of the Red Tower* (Note 2) cast a Level Eight Flame Magic.
A seven-meter-high Fire Wall suddenly rose in the training field.
The heat waves radiated, instantly raising the temperature here to over 50 degrees.
The knights stared in astonishment, and the newly recruited knights showed fear in their eyes.
Balk’s mind immediately popped up a huge “exclamation mark,” then turned into blood-red and bold text, [Not good!]
Ellie saw that the magic system was perking up against close combat.
Inexplicably, the Duchy is not favored by big shots in the magic system, and the newly recruited Order of Knights hadn’t developed deep “battle camaraderie” yet.
This Master of the Mage Tower’s Level Eight Flame Spell nearly dispersed the Duke’s newly formed Order of Knights.
The Duke’s face fell, dreadfully in the firelight.
Ellie watched the everlasting flames, but she was thinking…
hmm, I wonder what effect my [Ice Potion] would have if thrown in.
Hey, this is Level Eight Magic.
Thinking of this, she grew impatient with excitement.
Then, under everyone’s watchful eyes, Ellie tugged at the Duke’s sleeve.
The man glanced sideways, his ice-blue eyes still cold.
Ellie tiptoed, and the Duke leaned slightly forward.
She whispered a few short words into the Duke’s ear.
Then watched as the Duke of Coldcrest slowly curled up his lips, looking at the unamused Jupis, Lord of the Red Tower, saying: “Is this really Level Eight Magic?”
Jupis arrogantly straightened his back, “What, does the Duke wish to test its power?”
But the bubble overhead was saying: [A mere Platinum Knight, how could he break my proud Flame Magic.]
Then, Ellie took out several bottles filled with blue unknown liquid in front of everyone and handed them to the Duke of Coldcrest.
The Duke passed them to Balk, “Get a few Apprentice Knights.”
Then, a few knights from the gawking new Order were roped in as “strong men.”
“Go, throw this into the flame.” Balk handed each of them a Potion Bottle.
The Apprentice Knights were almost in tears, but Artor Coldcrest was watching from the side.
A few young men, almost ready to sacrifice right there and then, approached the Fire Wall, then threw the bottles full of icy blue potion into the ‘sea of flames’ with a resolute disregard for their lives.
Then, everyone present witnessed a miracle.
