...

I'd gained some experience.

"Seriously, that's pathetic!?" I groaned, staring at the numbers.

One Redcap for just one EXP point? I mean, I didn't actually land the killing blow myself, so if you converted that experience into numbers, I guess it made sense. But still... even the slimes back in the starter grassland would've dropped better EXP than that.

'Master, regarding that Anoxic Corridor—whereabouts in the dungeon were you planning to install it?' Andre's voice chimed from my side.

"Yeah, that." I leaned back, thinking. "Ideally, somewhere in the mid-game. Make it so you'd need a few people working together to reach that point, then use the corridor to wipe them out in one go—something like that."

'I see.' A pause. 'If I may offer my humble opinion, I believe it would make an effective trap even at the beginning of the endgame. However, if that is what Master has in mind, then I'm sure it will work splendidly.'

Where were we having this conversation? The changing room, naturally. And yes, it's separated by gender. The bath itself is mixed, though. Heehee...

The experiment went more easily than expected. Under "Custom" and "Create," I found an "Attribute Addition" option—and you could adjust the attribute's level and strength without any trouble.

The only downside? The bath's danger level had gone up to 3.

Maintenance wasn't an issue. But knowing that the same Anoxic Corridor and this bath were supposedly the same danger level... something about that just didn't sit right.

Oh, and Paimon—who'd been completely left out of the conversation for a while now—was handling food prep. Apparently, she had some supplies on hand and was willing to share. She also had drinking water, so I'd take some of that too. I'd resigned myself to skipping meals today, so this was a pretty happy surprise.

Food, huh... I really need to figure something out. Actually, this should've been priority number two—right after water.

I could set up some fields and pastures, but it's not like harvests happen overnight. We're dealing with living creatures—can't just tap a few buttons on my Smartphone and call it done.

"Alright! I'll start trying tomorrow!" I announced with forced enthusiasm.

'That's a textbook slacker's excuse,' Andre said dryly.

Hey... I worked hard today, okay? For someone who was born today, I think I did pretty damn well.

Outside, the sky had already been swallowed by pitch-black night, and a bluish moon was rising.

How do I know? Actually, I was checking in on the Orcs to see if I could hire them as general labor. Not that I could recruit them until tomorrow anyway.

There were eleven Orcs in total—probably survivors from the village the Redcaps had destroyed. They were lightly armed, though their gear was crude. Tusks jutted from the sides of their upturned snouts, curving proudly upward. Thick, shaggy hair covered them from forehead to chin, giving them a distinctly boar-like appearance. They stood barely a meter twenty tall—but aside from the hair, their bodies weren't that different from humans. The faces, though... definitely pig-like.

Looking at them, Paimon was actually pretty close to human. She was tall—around 190 centimeters—but that wasn't unusual for a human. Her features were handsome enough; without the horns, she could probably pass as human.

With that done, I finished undressing and headed straight for the bath!!

Oh, and Paimon wasn't being left out—I told her to join us once she finished with the food prep.

A wave of warm, humid air—the signature steam of a proper bath—greeted me.

YES!! This was it!!

This was the scene I'd been waiting for!!

Steam drifting through a large public bath. Rippling water in the soaking pool. Showerheads and faucets dripping with condensation. White walls and a central mirror above the washing area. At the far end of the bath sat a golden lion fountain, its mouth open as if about to roar—and beyond its gaze, from above the entrance to the ceiling, a grand Mt. Fuji mural stretched across the wall.

It was the kind of scene you half-expected to hear a "KAPOON!" fountain sound effect accompanying.

I had to admit: I'd outdone myself.

'...Satisfied?' Andre asked from his little stone bucket, sounding slightly exasperated.

"Absolutely. Freaking. Perfect!!" I declared.

I'd created a lot of things today, but I was sure nothing would top this. Maybe nothing ever would.

'I see...' A pause. 'As long as you actually work starting tomorrow, I shall refrain from interfering further.'

The way Andre sees me... did he really think that little of me? I thought I'd been doing pretty well, all things considered.

"Aaah... This is the life," I sighed, sinking into the water.

As I sank into the bath, I heard my words echo off the tiled walls.

'Your usual slacker face looks even more pathetic when you're soaking in hot water,' Andre commented.

Andre was so loud. And here I'd even built him a little table next to the bath.

'Still, your body's not bulky, but it's well-toned...' he said. 'Those slender, scrawny limbs actually have a certain charm... And most of all, seeing a boyish young man completely unclothed...'

"Why do I suddenly feel so cold?" I muttered, a shiver running down my spine.

'Heheheh. A feast for the eyes, indeed.'

"HELP! POLICE! There's a perverted Smartphone here!!" I shouted.

'Now, now, nothing wrong with enjoying the view, is there?'

"You're sleeping outside starting tomorrow!!" I threatened.

'I must register my firmest objection,' Andre replied with mock dignity.

"Shut up! I have no interest in bathing with a peeping tom!!"

'I shall go on strike,' he declared. 'Specifically, I shall protest by only summoning male monsters.'

"Please have mercy..."

'Or perhaps I shall summon nothing but non-humans that you would never mistake for women,' he added, sounding pleased.

"I'm begging you, please don't," I groaned.

'Then you will allow me to stay from tomorrow onward?'

"...Fine." I gave in.

I wasn't feeling relaxed at all. I'd built this entire bath, and I couldn't even enjoy it properly.

'But are you that desperate for a woman?' Andre pressed.

"Don't make it sound so creepy," I protested. "It's just a dream of mine to share this bath with a girl."

'That's pretty creepy too, you know.'

"Shut up, you pervy Smartphone."

Karakarakara...

The door slid open quietly, and Paimon stepped in.

"P-Pardon me..." she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Arms that were slightly muscular yet slender and graceful.

Long, slender legs—smooth and elegant.

Her bare stomach showed defined abs, but her waist sharply curved inward, the voluptuous line leading down to her hips and thighs.

And above that—

Her chest—which had been hidden under simple cloth before—was now fully exposed before my eyes.

That chest—no—

'Looks like your dream came true already,' Andre said, clearly amused.

Those were unmistakably Paimon's breasts.

Summary:

Amduskias finishes his bath construction and experiments with dungeon customization, discovering the bath's danger level unexpectedly rose to 3. After observing Orcs as potential labor and enduring Andre's teasing about his slacker tendencies, he finally enters the bath only to be shocked when Paimon—who was assumed male—reveals herself to be female with unmistakable breasts. The chapter ends on the comedic punchline that his dream of bathing with a girl has come true in the most unexpected way possible.

Trivia:

The protagonist was literally born today, explaining his naivety and excitement about basic experiences like bathing.

The Anoxic Corridor is a trap system the protagonist plans to install mid-dungeon, though Andre suggests it could work earlier.

The bath's danger level is 3, equivalent to the Anoxic Corridor, which bothers the protagonist.

Paimon was sent to prepare food and has supplies of both food and drinking water to share.

The Orcs are 120cm tall, pig-faced survivors of a Redcap attack, being considered as potential labor.

Paimon is 190cm tall with a handsome face and could pass as human without her horns.

Andre threatens to summon only male monsters or non-humans as protest if excluded from the bath area.

The "golden lion fountain" and "Mt. Fuji mural" are classic sento/onsen decorative motifs.

Andre's "feast for the eyes" comment (眼福眼福) is delivered with voyeuristic mockery.

The protagonist built a small table next to the bath specifically for Andre's stone bucket.

Notes:

• Amduskias - A newly reborn Demon Lord and Dungeon Master, he appears as a slender, boyish figure in a gakuran and sneakers. Pragmatic, self-deprecating, and prone to procrastination, he designs complex traps and bathhouses while seeking allies. Accompanied by his smartphone advisor Andras, this modern isekai figure values sincerity, dreams of companionship, and warmly welcomes the protagonist to his new dungeon.

• Master - The dungeon master and protagonist of the story. A self-aware individual who acknowledges his own laziness and tendency to prioritize comfort over dungeon management. Possesses absurdly high stats and a vast array of skills despite being Level 1. Maintains a casual, modern internal monologue with self-deprecating humor.

• Andre - A demon of the sixty-fifth rank in Solomon's seventy-two demons, appearing in the form of a peacock. Acts as a conductor of sophistry and a support interface for the dungeon master. Bestows knowledge of surveying, astronomy, and geometry. Displays a formal, refined demeanor with hidden warmth and genuine concern for her master's safety, though she expresses frustration through sharp lecturing. Colleague of the narrator. Speaks to the Demon Lord without fear. Blunt and sarcastic. Uses insults casually but reveals underlying care through actions. Functions as the straight-man tsukkomi character. The protagonist's smartphone companion who serves as both advisor and voice of reason. Speaks with polite, respectful deference while occasionally expressing exasperation at the master's priorities. Questions the safety of dungeon designs and serves as a grounding presence to the protagonist's whims.

• Paimon - An orphaned, shy ogre companion serving Amduskias with deep deference. Appearing as a 190cm tall, handsome female with an ash-gray body, a single jet-black horn, golden eyes, and a voluptuous yet muscular build, she mimics the protagonist's posture. Knowledgeable and polite, she acts as a guide on local threats and monsters, often stammering nervously while providing essential supplies and information.
