"Is it you this time? Do you intend to pierce through my armor with such a cheap sword—hmm?"
As Bephimos said that, it narrowed its eyes.
"W-what's with that sword... It's abnormally reinforced... U-unbelievable..."
What I brought this time are two steel swords.
The '＋9700' Strengthening points that were in the broken Copper Sword were distributed to one with '＋1000' and the other with '＋8700'.
Right now, the sword I'm wielding has '＋1000'.
The other one is saved for fighting the high-level dragon.
By the way, Lily has been defeating the monsters along the way, so I couldn't obtain Strengthening points.
After all, I can only obtain points from the remaining magic power of the monsters I defeat.
"I see. That weapon is indeed powerful. I'll acknowledge that."
Roaring Bephimos.
"But... can you react to my skill 'Quick Thunder Charge (Jinrai Tosshin)'? Even the woman earlier couldn't fully react and was blown away. You are clearly inferior in close combat ability compared to her."
"Oh, there is no comparison between me and her."
I answered with a wry smile.
"If you ask me if I can react to your charge with my physical abilities... well, without a doubt, it's impossible."
"Hmph, so you've already reached the point of giving up. That's admirable."
Saying that, Bephimos bent its limbs and assumed a low posture.
It was getting ready to charge.
"No, it's no use, Rain-sama... no matter how strong you are, you can't defend against that attack..."
Lily said in a weak voice.
"It far exceeds the limit that humans can react to... I was barely able to avoid a fatal blow by predicting its movements from the slight trembling of the air..."
"Don't worry. Lily, just keep watching from there."
I spoke, still holding my sword.
"If you won't back down, then──shatter!"
I proclaimed as Bephimos charged.
──At that very moment.
"If the skill activates, I won't be able to react and will take a direct hit."
I casually swung my sword.
"But I didn't say I couldn't respond."
Boom!
A shockwave was unleashed.
Its movement was straightforward.
So, if I release a frontal-area attack──.
"You are on that trajectory. So it won't fail."
"Ugh, ughhh…!?"
As planned──
With the area attack, Bephimos was easily blown away.
"You…!"
Bephimos, exhausted, collapsed.
It was a bit of a brute force, but in any case, I defeated him.
"Wow… as expected, Rain-sama is amazing…"
Lily approached me.
"Are you okay? You should rest a little more──"
"I'm fine. This is the first time… I've been so moved watching Rain-sama's battle with a formidable opponent!"
Lily was looking at me with sparkling eyes.
Uh, it's a bit embarrassing, or how should I put it...
"At least, I got a bunch of Strengthening points with this."
I changed the subject to cover up my embarrassment.
And,
'The spellcaster's combat experience has reached a certain value.'
'The spellcaster's enchantment magic has leveled up to level two.'
'A new domain will be added to enchantment magic.'
An announcement is made.
"A new domain for enchantment magic? "
