Xia Tingwang’s soft body pressed against Sang Ying. Sang Ying struggled to breathe, trying to control her emotions. It was a difficult task, but she managed to get Xia Tingwang, who had gone limp as mud, out of the villa. A business car was waiting outside. Once they were both seated, Sang Ying said, “Take us to the hotel first. You can come back to pick up General Manager Yin later.”
The driver, Zhuang Yan, glanced back. “Is the Miss all right?”
Xia Tingwang leaned against Sang Ying’s shoulder, her lips brushing against Sang Ying’s skin. Sang Ying struggled to keep her upright. “I think she drank too much.”
As soon as she was separated from Sang Ying, Xia Tingwang groaned, “Do not touch me!”
She then dove back into Sang Ying’s arms. Her body was growing hotter by the second, and she urgently needed to find a source of relief. Sang Ying’s pheromones felt like a cool breeze blowing into her heart, refreshing and soothing.
Xia Tingwang wrapped her arms around Sang Ying’s waist, twisting her body from time to time, making soft sounds in her throat. “Mm, it is so uncomfortable.”
Sang Ying sat upright, struggling to control her stray thoughts. She did not notice Xia Tingwang’s groans, but she could feel Xia Tingwang’s soft body pressed against her. The scent of her hair wafted into Sang Ying’s nostrils, throwing her breathing into chaos.
By the time they reached the hotel, Xia Tingwang was delirious, muttering things under her breath. Sang Ying got out of the car and scooped Xia Tingwang up in her arms. “Go back and pick up General Manager Yin. I will take CEO Xia to her room.”
“All right,” Zhuang Yan said. “The Miss might vomit if she is drunk, so be careful.”
“Yes, do not worry.”
Sang Ying carried Xia Tingwang into the elevator with hurried steps. Xia Tingwang began tugging at her own clothes. “So hot.”
She was wearing a strapless gown; as it slid down, a corset was revealed. Sang Ying immediately pressed her close to herself, turning her body to block the camera’s angle. “We will be there in a moment. Please, just hold on for a little longer.”
A pair of soft lips blocked Sang Ying’s mouth. Before she could even react, Xia Tingwang’s tongue had already pushed inside.
The elevator doors opened. Sang Ying stood there frozen. Xia Tingwang pulled away and began to struggle, whispering, “Give it to me.”
The moment the elevator doors closed, Sang Ying finally snapped back to reality and rushed out. Xia Tingwang’s scalding touch had already robbed her of her reason. She unlocked the door and leaned against it, breathing heavily. Her last shred of sanity warned her not to take advantage of someone in such a state.
She carried Xia Tingwang into the bedroom. When she straightened up, she found that her strap was clutched tightly in Xia Tingwang’s hand. Feeling Sang Ying moving further away, Xia Tingwang pulled hard on the strap, forcing Sang Ying to lean in.
“Do not go,” Xia Tingwang wrapped her arms around Sang Ying’s neck. “I am so uncomfortable.”
As she spoke, she began to tear at her own gown. Sang Ying pulled a duvet over to wrap her up. “I will call Assistant Bai to come take care of you.”
She had only taken two steps when she heard a thud; Xia Tingwang had rolled onto the floor, duvet and all. She waved her hands in a tantrum. “What is this? Take it away!”
Sang Ying unwrapped the duvet. Once freed, Xia Tingwang clung to Sang Ying like a fish to water. “Why are you hiding from me?”
“Am I not pretty enough?” Xia Tingwang stared with wide eyes. Her vision was blurry, but her ears could recognize who it was, and the tension in her heart relaxed. “Do not hide from me. I am really suffering.”
Hot breath sprayed onto Sang Ying’s face. She looked at Xia Tingwang, whose cheeks were flushed and whose eyes were filled with moisture. The instincts of an Alpha made Sang Ying almost lose her mind as well.
“Do you know who I am?”
“I know,” Xia Tingwang kissed Sang Ying, drinking in the cool pheromones from her body. She mumbled, “You are the little streamer.”
No Alpha could remain steady under such temptation, and Sang Ying was no exception. The messy thoughts she had been harboring all this time caused her to surrender, and she responded to Xia Tingwang’s kiss.
The kiss was hot, fierce, and completely chaotic.
Yin Wei’s phone call had been a long one, a full forty minutes. A serious technical issue had arisen in the development of the new product, but fortunately, it was resolved. She hung up the phone and hurried back to the banquet hall’s lounge, but the person who had been on the sofa was gone.
She caught a waiter to ask what happened and was told that Xia Tingwang had been taken away.
Yin Wei punched the air in frustration and called Xia Tingwang, but the sound came from under the sofa. She walked over and fished it out; it was Xia Tingwang’s phone.
The business car was no longer outside the villa. Yin Wei knew they had likely returned to the hotel. She did not know what kind of reaction the drug would cause. Both Zhuang Yan and Sang Ying were Alphas, and Yin Wei felt her heart was about to jump out of her chest from anxiety.
She did not have Sang Ying’s number, so she called Zhuang Yan instead.
“General Manager Yin, I just took the Miss back to the hotel. I am about to come pick you up; please wait a moment.”
“What is the situation with Xiao Wang?”
“She seems to have drunk too much. Sang Ying is taking care of her.”
At these words, Yin Wei’s mind exploded. She said to Zhuang Yan, “You do not need to pick me up. I will take a taxi back myself. You go back to the room quickly.”
Thinking that Zhuang Yan was also an Alpha, she worried about what might happen if things escalated. Yin Wei changed her mind. “No, no, no, she drank too much. Do not come pick me up; I will be back soon.”
It was a thirty-minute drive from the hotel to here. Waiting for Zhuang Yan to come and return would take over an hour. Yin Wei could not wait; she took a taxi herself and flew out of the car the moment she arrived at the hotel.
An Alpha facing an Omega who had been drugged, especially one as beautiful and alluring as Xia Tingwang, Yin Wei did not even dare to imagine what might happen.
As the elevator slowly ascended, her palms were sweating with anxiety, and her unease grew. Over the past few days, she had noticed Xia Tingwang showing special care toward Sang Ying.
What if those two did something?
She saw Zhuang Yan standing outside the door of the room, and her footsteps became heavy. Why was Zhuang Yan not inside?
She walked over slowly. “Is Xiao Wang okay?”
Zhuang Yan stood straight and nodded. “The Miss is doing just fine.”
How could she be just fine? She had taken the drug. Her mother said that the only way to solve the effects of that drug was to do that thing. How could Xia Tingwang be fine?
She reached for the door, but it required a room key. “Open it. I need to check on her.”
“This,” Zhuang Yan looked troubled. “The Miss really is doing quite well. Please do not check.”
Seeing Zhuang Yan’s expression, Yin Wei confirmed her worst suspicion. But she was unwilling to accept it.
“Open it. I will not be at ease if I do not see Xiao Wang.”
Zhuang Yan was in a difficult position, but he could not withstand Yin Wei’s pressure. He swiped the card and opened the door.
Yin Wei walked straight toward Xia Tingwang’s bedroom. The closer she got, the more audible the sounds became. Until she stood right outside the bedroom door, she could hear Xia Tingwang’s voice. The hotel’s soundproofing was actually quite good, so standing at the door she could only hear intermittent sounds, but those fragments were more than enough.
“Mm, faster.”
“Ah.”
In those few seconds, Yin Wei already felt her own reaction. She placed her hand on the doorknob, but before she could turn it, she realized it was already cracked open.
They must have been so impatient that they did not even close the door.
The room was dark. Through the crack in the door, she caught a glimpse of two figures on the bed, one above and one below. Xia Tingwang seemed to be occupying the dominant position.
“You are really good at this. Is this your first time?”
“Mm,” Sang Ying replied, her voice filled with heavy breathing.
“Kiss me quickly.”
Yin Wei did not listen any further. She closed the door, her hands trembling, and walked out of the room in a daze.
Zhuang Yan immediately closed the door and stood faithfully outside, keeping guard.
She had pushed the person she liked into someone else’s arms with her own hands.
Sang Ying opened her eyes and realized she was hugging someone. The room was dim, but she knew who it was without looking. The images from last night flashed through her mind.
She could not help but smile, looking down at the person in her arms.
Xia Tingwang was sleeping soundly, one hand wrapped around her waist, her small face buried in Sang Ying’s shoulder. She looked obedient and cute, not like she usually was, nor like she was last night, alluring and enticing.
Recalling last night, Sang Ying’s earlobes turned red, and she felt a bit embarrassed.
The messy thoughts she had been harboring all this time now had a breakthrough point. She liked Xia Tingwang, which was why she was so concerned about Xia Tingwang’s opinion of her.
If Xia Tingwang had not been drunk last night, she probably would not have been sure of her own heart. When Xia Tingwang told her she knew who she was, Sang Ying’s happiness in that moment was even greater than the act of making love itself.
But she was not sure about Xia Tingwang’s feelings. This uncertainty made Sang Ying sit up cautiously. She found her phone under the bed; it was just past five in the morning.
The floor was a mess, covered with her and Xia Tingwang’s clothes. Her gown had been torn by Xia Tingwang long ago.
Sang Ying put on her bra and quietly opened the bedroom door. Fortunately, it was still early and no one was outside. She slipped into her own room, changed her clothes, and returned to Xia Tingwang’s room.
She sat on the sofa, waiting quietly for Xia Tingwang to wake up. She was very nervous; she did not know how Xia Tingwang would react after sobering up, but she was certain of her own heart.
Sang Ying, who never took detours, decided to confess to Xia Tingwang. While waiting for her to wake up, she practiced how to confess in her mind countless times.
When Xia Tingwang groaned, Sang Ying reflexively looked toward the bed.
Xia Tingwang’s whole body ached. She lifted the duvet to find she was unclothed. She sat up abruptly. The room had no lights on and the curtains were not drawn, making it dim, but she still saw a person sitting on the sofa opposite.
She instinctively wrapped the duvet tightly around herself. “Who is it!”
The person stood up. “It is me. Do not be afraid.”
This voice made Xia Tingwang exhale in relief, but the next second, she grew tense again. “What are you doing in my room so early in the morning!”
Sang Ying stood up and walked to the wall to turn on the floor lamp. With the light, Xia Tingwang’s sense of security returned. She held the duvet tightly; even a slight movement made her body ache, especially down there. As if realizing something, she lifted the duvet and looked down slowly.
Before she could see anything, she heard Sang Ying say, “Do you remember last night?”
Last night? What last night?
Xia Tingwang recalled: she had attended a party, drank a few glasses with Martina, and then?
“You were drunk last night,” Sang Ying filled in the gaps. “We came back to the hotel early.”
“Impossible!” Xia Tingwang interrupted. “My tolerance has always been excellent. A few glasses of champagne would not make me drunk enough to lose my memory.”
“You were indeed drunk,” Sang Ying said.
“Fine,” Xia Tingwang reluctantly accepted that her tolerance had decreased. “And then?”
Sang Ying looked at her. Just as she was about to speak, Xia Tingwang raised her hand to signal her to be quiet. “Did we do it?”
Sang Ying nodded. Xia Tingwang widened her eyes. She wanted to scream, but she stopped herself. Don’t scream, do not lose your composure. So she had lost her first time, so what? It was not a big deal. Seeing Sang Ying’s expression, she knew it could not have been forced, so it must have been voluntary.
If it was voluntary, there was even less to say. She looked up at Sang Ying, who was standing foolishly by the bed. Sang Ying’s clothes were neat, suggesting she had woken up long ago, just waiting to apologize. Does she expect me to beg her to take responsibility?
What a joke. When has Xia Tingwang ever begged anyone?
“I have something to say,” Sang Ying said.
“I have something to say too,” Xia Tingwang held her head high, her tone feigning calmness. “That thing, it was consensual. We are both adults, we just had some fun. I enjoyed it, and you, well, you enjoyed it too. There is no need to take it to heart. Let us just move on.”
Sang Ying was stunned. “Move on?”
“Yes,” Xia Tingwang’s voice grew louder, as if it gave her more confidence. “You do not think I want you to take responsibility, do you? Forget it. We are strictly business partners. I do not need you to take responsibility.”
Xia Tingwang believed she had perfectly reclaimed her dignity. Even though her heart was screaming that her first time had ended without her knowing, she looked at Sang Ying expressionlessly. Sang Ying did not speak for a long while, and Xia Tingwang urged, “Did you hear me?”
Sang Ying lowered her eyes and said very, very softly, “I heard you.”
