Zimal slowly opened her eyes and said, “I’m fine, Afifa.”
Zawar came closer and said in a worried tone, “Thank God you woke up.
Do you know how worried I was about you?
I mean… we all were.
Are you okay?
Does it hurt anywhere?”
The doctor entered the room and said, “Please leave her alone for now.
She needs rest.”
Afifa nodded.
“Yes, doctor.
Is everything okay?”
The doctor replied, “Yes, she is stable.
She just needs rest and a calm mind, so please don’t disturb her.”
Afifa and Zawar left the room and sat on the chairs outside.
Zawar looked at Afifa and said, “You should go home.
I can take care of her.
Your family must be worried about you.”
Afifa shook her head.
“My mother told me to stay here until Zimal gets better.
She even said we can bring lunch here.
If you have any important work, you can leave.”
Zawar sighed softly.
“No, I’m fine.
Come on, let me get you something for breakfast.”
Both of them left for breakfast.
Meanwhile, a stranger wearing a doctor’s uniform quietly entered Zimal’s room.
He had a knife hidden in his hand.
Step by step, he moved closer to her bed with dangerous intentions.
Suddenly, a glass slipped from his hand and shattered on the floor.
The sound echoed in the room, and Zimal immediately woke up.
”Who’s there?” she asked nervously.
The man pointed the knife toward her.
Zimal screamed loudly, but no one was nearby to hear her.
Before she could escape, he stabbed her in the stomach.
In panic and self-defense, Zimal grabbed a vase from the side table and struck him on the head.
The man fell to the ground, unconscious, and blood began to pour from his head.
Zimal stood frozen, trembling in fear, her hands covered in blood.
Just then, Sahriar entered the room.
The moment Zimal saw him, she ran toward him and hugged him tightly.
Sahriar held her protectively, but his eyes immediately shifted to the unconscious man on the floor.
Fear was clearly visible in Zimal’s eyes, as if she wanted to say, “I didn’t do this.”
Her strength began to fade, and she was about to lose consciousness.
Sahriar quickly picked her up and carried her to another room.
He ordered Ibrahim to handle the situation immediately.
After placing Zimal on the bed, Sahriar pressed his hand firmly on her wound to stop the bleeding and shouted for the doctor.
The doctor rushed in and began emergency treatment.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim cleared the scene and secured the area.
A few moments later, Afifa and Zawar returned.
Zawar asked anxiously, “Where is Zimal?
Why has her room been changed?”
Afifa looked around in panic.
“Where is Zimal?
Is she okay?”
Ibrahim replied, “She is in room 204.”
They both rushed toward the room.
The moment Zawar saw the blood and the wound on Zimal’s body, he turned to Sahriar in shock.
”What happened to her?
Why is she bleeding so much?”
Sahriar shouted angrily, “Get out of here!”
The doctor immediately asked everyone to leave so he could continue treatment.
Soon after, Zimal was shifted to the ICU.
Ibrahim explained calmly, “When you both left, someone entered her room and attacked her before escaping.”
Sahriar’s expression turned cold with anger.
He looked at them and said, “So this is how you were taking care of her?
If anything happens to her again, I will not spare anyone.”
After saying that, he left the room furiously.
A few hours later, the doctor came out and informed them that Zimal was now stable.
He added, “We will have to inform the police about this attack.”
Sahriar replied coldly, “I will handle it myself.”
After some time, Zimal slowly regained consciousness.
Afifa immediately went to her and said with teary eyes, “Zimal, I’m really sorry.
All of this happened because of me.
Please forgive me.”
Zimal weakly shook her head.
“No… this isn’t your fault.”
Just then, Sahriar entered the room.
His hands and clothes were still stained with blood.
The moment Zimal saw him, fear returned to her eyes.
She looked away and said softly, “I want to rest alone… please leave.”
Everyone quietly left the room.
Before leaving, Sahriar spoke to Ibrahim, “Take care of everything.
Don’t say anything about this in front of Zimal.”
”Yes, sir,” Ibrahim replied.
“Also, your grandfather has come to the office to see you.”
”Okay,” Sahriar said.
“Inform me immediately if anything happens.
Increase security outside her room.”
Ibrahim nodded.
“Yes, sir.
I’ll take care of everything.”
Afifa turned to Zimal and asked softly, “Are you sure you’re okay?”
Zimal nodded.
“Yes… I’m fine.
Nothing happened because of you.”
Afifa hugged her tightly.
Zawar also came in and asked, “Zimal, what exactly happened there?”
Zimal looked frightened.
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
Afifa said quietly, “Zawar, let it be.”
—
Sahriar said to his father, “Nothing serious happened, don’t worry.”
Chairman Hayat Sikander replied seriously, “How can I not worry when you are always surrounded by trouble and employees like this girl?”
Sahriar frowned.
“Who?”
”The one causing all this trouble… Zimal,” his father said.
Sahriar paused.
“Zimal?”
”Yes,” his father confirmed.
Sahriar sighed.
“Alright, Dad… as you wish.
