Upon arriving at the group streaming company, she found many beautiful girls already waiting anxiously.
When it was finally Li Yunxi’s turn, she walked into the room with a nervous heart. Facing the sharp gazes of the judges, she took deep breaths to stay calm and did her best to present her finest self.
After the interview ended, Li Yunxi felt both excited and uneasy. She eagerly anticipated good news but worried her performance hadn’t been outstanding enough.
A few days later, when Li Yunxi received the notification that she had passed the interview, she was so thrilled she nearly jumped for joy.
She couldn’t wait to rush back to her dorm and share this exciting news with her roommates, who were all genuinely happy and proud for her.
However, entering group streaming was only the first step. Li Yunxi knew well that many more daunting challenges lay ahead. But she was determined to work hard and excel in this job.
The day after receiving the interview results, under the expectant and encouraging eyes of her roommates, Li Yunxi resolutely went alone to the group streaming company.
Little did she know, passing the interview was merely the beginning of a difficult journey.
As soon as she stepped into the supervisor’s office, the supervisor handed her a file package containing numerous songs of various styles and their corresponding complex dance routines.
The supervisor said sternly, “You have three hours to learn all of this, then we’ll directly assess the results. If your performance meets the standard, you can stay.
Tomorrow, you’ll go directly to the currently most popular group streaming live streaming room for a trial broadcast. If you fail, then I’m sorry, but you’ll have to leave immediately.”
When she heard she actually had the chance to do a trial broadcast in the hottest live streaming room, Li Yunxi couldn’t help but show a hint of surprise on her face.
But this surprise was soon replaced by surging motivation within her. She agreed without hesitation.
In the following hours, fortunately, Li Yunxi had a solid foundation in dance, so memorizing the moves and familiarizing herself with the song melodies wasn’t too difficult.
Moreover, she applied herself wholeheartedly, immersing herself fully in practice without the slightest slack.
In just two hours, she had skillfully mastered all the dance moves.
To ensure nothing went wrong, she spent the remaining hour repeatedly reinforcing what she had learned.
In the end, through Li Yunxi’s persistent efforts and her own solid skills, her performance successfully earned a wave of high praise.
Moreover, the company immediately helped her apply for a dy account, and she chose the name herself: Yun Yun.
Afterward, the supervisor straightforwardly told her, “You can go home now. Come directly to the company tomorrow at 7 PM, then go for the trial broadcast.”
After leaving the group streaming company building, Li Yunxi’s steps felt somewhat light and unsteady. She still found everything quite unreal.
Had she really entered the group streaming industry so smoothly in just a few short days?
When she returned to the dorm, her three roommates stared at her intently, full of anticipation.
She decided to tease them a little, so she suppressed the smile on her face and slowly sat down on a chair, pretending to be dejected. Her three roommates anxiously gathered around her, and Li Qian asked with concern, “What’s wrong, Yun Yun? Is something bothering you?”
Yun Yun deliberately complained, “Passing the interview was nothing. When I went there today, they told me I still had to learn the dance on the spot. There were so many dance moves, and they only gave me three hours. Ugh, it’s just too demanding!”
Although they all firmly believed this wouldn’t be a problem for her, seeing Yun Yun like this, seemingly unhappy, they all thought she probably hadn’t passed.
So, Liu Nan quickly comforted her, saying, “It’s okay, Yun Yun. If they didn’t choose you, it’s their loss! Don’t be too upset, okay?”
Wu Hui’er also chimed in, “Exactly, exactly.”
At that moment, Yun Yun couldn’t keep up the act any longer. She suddenly stood up and exclaimed excitedly, “I passed! And tomorrow I can do a trial broadcast in the S5 girl group’s live streaming room!”
“What!” the three of them exclaimed in unison. Wu Hui’er couldn’t wait to take out her phone and opened the S5 girl group’s live streaming room, where the online viewer count had already reached 50,000.
She danced around excitedly and said loudly, “Wow, so we’ll be able to see you here tomorrow?”
Yun Yun smiled and nodded in confirmation.
The other three roommates were even happier than Yun Yun herself. The four girls joyfully held hands and spun around in circles in their dorm room.
After the excitement subsided, Yun Yun’s heart began to ripple with a bit of nervousness. After all, this was her first-ever live stream, and the number of people in the live streaming room was beyond imagination.
She sat quietly in her chair, her face filled with worry as if shrouded by an invisible gloom.
Seeing this, her three roommates quickly pulled over chairs and gathered around her.
Li Qian gently patted her head to comfort her and then said softly, “Don’t worry, Yun Yun. We are your most loyal fans! Tomorrow, without a doubt, the three of us will definitely pool together for a ‘Huazi’ for you.”
Wu Hui’er also added immediately, “Yes, don’t worry, Yun Yun.”
Liu Nan also nodded repeatedly in agreement.
In truth, the three of them were not simple-minded. The reason they were so good to Yun Yun was that throughout their four years of university, Yun Yun had always treated them with sincerity and kindness.
Seeing everyone’s unwavering support, Yun Yun instantly felt much of her anxiety dissipate.
Moved, she said, “Thank you all for supporting and encouraging me so much, but there’s no need to send a ‘Huazi’! If you just send me some little hearts, I’ll be very happy!”
Although the other three roommates verbally agreed repeatedly, in their hearts, they had already secretly decided that they would definitely send that ‘Huazi’!
Since the company neither had a uniform dress code nor provided clothing, the streamers had to purchase and coordinate their outfits themselves.
So, at two in the afternoon, Yun Yun was once again dragged by her roommates to the mall. After all, today was Yun Yun’s first live stream, and the importance of her image was self-evident.
Yun Yun herself also knew she should take it seriously. To that end, she not only spent money on carefully done makeup and hair but also bought a stunningly beautiful dress. In the end, after an afternoon of meticulous preparation, Yun Yun’s appearance in the S5 live streaming room was nothing short of utterly sweet.
Her outfit for the day: a lovely floral-print dress adorned with an exquisite bow. Her shoes were a pair of pink low-heeled pumps.
She had specifically gone to get her hair styled into soft waves, with cute little bow hair accessories adorning her locks. Overall, she looked absolutely adorable.
It was her first time appearing in the S5 live streaming room, and while waiting for the broadcast to start, the other streamers in S5 keenly sensed her slight social anxiety and proactively came over to greet her.
