After returning to the dormitory, Yun Yun immediately began packing her belongings without a moment’s delay. Upon learning that she was moving out that very day, her roommate decisively abandoned her shopping plans and chose to accompany her back instead.

As Yun Yun focused intently on packing, Qianqian, her voice choked with emotion, said tearfully, “Wah, Yun Yun, just thinking about coming back to the dorm and not seeing you anymore makes me so sad I could cry.”

Nannan’s eyes were also brimming with reluctance as she said slowly, “Yun Yun, I really don’t want you to leave. What am I going to do?”Full novel: The Group Streamer and the Top 1 Tycoon CEO — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

At that moment, Hui’er stepped in perfectly to lighten the mood, saying, “What they said is exactly what I wanted to express too.”

Just as everyone else was immersed in the sadness of the impending farewell and on the verge of tears, Wu Hui’er suddenly blurted out such a remark, instantly making everyone burst into laughter.

Qianqian immediately reached out to “punish” her, saying, “Enough already, Hui’er!”

Hui’er, quick-witted as ever, hurriedly replied, “I promise I won’t say that again next time. Next time, I’ll definitely share my unique perspective.”

Only after hearing Hui’er’s assurance did Qianqian let go of her, saying, “That’s more like it.”

By then, Yun Yun had nearly finished packing her belongings. Her roommates worked together to help her move everything downstairs, making several trips back and forth until they were panting and exhausted, finally managing to move all her things.

After everything was moved, Yun Yun hurried to a nearby store to buy each of them a bottle of water, then gave them each a hug in turn.

After the hugs, Yun Yun stood under the bright sunlight, a radiant smile on her face, and said, “Alright, I’ll be off now! I’ll send the address in the group chat later. You’re all welcome to visit me anytime!”

Nannan responded with a smile, “Okay, I’ll come find you to hang out when I have time!”

Qianqian also said gently, “Alright, Yun Bao, I’ll miss you!”

Then, all three of them turned their gaze toward Wu Hui’er, with Qianqian’s eyes seemingly conveying unspoken pressure as if to say, “If you don’t share your thoughts now, I’ll eat you alive.”

So, this time, Wu Hui’er finally voiced her own thoughts. She said sincerely, “Yun Yun, I’ll miss you too. I’ll definitely come find you to hang out as soon as I have time!”

And so, under the caring and reluctant gazes of her roommates, Yun Yun slowly took her seat in the passenger side of the moving truck. The vehicle started up and gradually drove away from the school.

On the road away from campus, Yun Yun looked at the all-too-familiar surroundings, and waves of emotion stirred within her.

She couldn’t help but recall the time she first arrived at university. It felt as though the scene of her dragging her suitcase to register was still vivid in her mind. How had time passed so quickly? She was already about to graduate.

As for the house she was going to rent, she had already contacted an agent about it earlier. Due to the busyness of the day and the limited time, she simply couldn’t manage to go for an in-person inspection.

So, she had only briefly browsed through the photos the agent sent her before decisively deciding to rent it.

For Yun Yun, while other aspects of renting a house might be negotiable, safety was something she took extremely seriously. After all, she would be living alone as a young woman from now on, so safety was undoubtedly her top priority.

When renting an apartment, she first focused on the security of the residential complex, followed by its location. It had to be close to her workplace, which would greatly reduce her commute time and allow her more rest moments amidst her busy schedule.

The car sped along and soon arrived at the destination.

After getting out of the car, Yun Yun carefully observed her surroundings. The complex was shaded by lush trees, with clean and tidy roads, giving off a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

The security guard at the entrance stood tall and patrolled diligently, which reassured Yun Yun somewhat.

Following the agent, she hurried to the apartment and meticulously inspected the facilities and safety features.

The room layout was reasonable, the door locks were sturdy, and the windows were well-protected—everything satisfied her greatly. Without much hesitation, she promptly signed the lease agreement.

After settling the necessary arrangements, Yun Yun decided to decorate her new home properly.

Overjoyed, she bought some cozy decorations: a soft rug, exquisite wall art, and dried flowers emitting a faint fragrance, gradually making the room more comfortable and pleasant.

Then, she tirelessly organized all her belongings, sorting them by category and placing them where they belonged.

As she tidied up, time flew by unnoticed, and it was already 5:30 in the afternoon.

Exhausted yet content, Yun Yun lay on the soft bed, gazing tenderly at the room she had carefully arranged, her heart filled with happiness.

Although she had left behind the school full of memories and the roommates she had spent every day with, she believed that with her own efforts and courage, she could start a brand-new, hopeful life in this new environment.

However, she didn’t have much time to indulge in this joy at the moment.

After all, the group live stream was scheduled to start at 7 p.m., and she estimated she might not even have time to eat. Not only did she need to apply makeup meticulously, but she also had to choose suitable clothes.

But what should she wear today? With a slightly conflicted mood, Yun Yun opened her wardrobe and searched for clothes suitable for the live stream.

She first took out a red dress and tried it on in front of the mirror, but no matter how she looked at it, she felt something was missing—it didn’t quite achieve the effect she wanted.

So she changed into a casual outfit instead. Although it made her look more approachable and cute, after much thought, she still wasn’t entirely satisfied.

Finally, after careful consideration, Yun Yun decided to wear a white shirt and blue jeans—a simple and fresh combination that made her look both capable and youthful.

Then, she sat in front of the dressing table and began applying makeup with focused attention.

Yun Yun usually preferred a light makeup style, but she knew that the camera tended to wash out makeup during live streams, so she deliberately applied it more heavily.

After careful application, she finally finished her makeup, fixed her hairstyle, and put on her clothes. When she checked the time, it was already 6:20.

In a hurry, she slipped on her casual shoes and headed out. Fortunately, her apartment complex was indeed very close to the company.

It took her only twenty minutes to reach the company building and another ten minutes to arrive at the S5 live streaming room.
