Yeah right” I rolled my eyes at him.
“What?” He asked ignoring the obvious.
I began to think of two things simultaneously.
A, this guy was as dumb as ever.
B, he was pretending to be dumb.
“I’ve got a question for you thing” I spoke a few seconds later
“I’m not a thing” he blasted back at once.
I raised my brow at him.
“Mmmhmm…” I drawled out
“What’s that supposed to mean?” he questioned at once
He drew back a glum face at me and I shrugged back simply telling him it’s not my fault.
You’re just too stupid
“Do you mind explaining what the fuck is happening?” I asked unhappily.
“The rules?” he resonated like it was nothing.
“I’m gonna be real with you lady. I have no idea”
“What the heck?” I yelled glaring at him in anger.
“Woah don’t look at me like that.” He said and I stared even more angrily at him.
“Fine fine” he whimpered off.
“It was written that two powerful leaders would come to any school. Their fates were joined so we had to help them get closer to fulfill their destiny. ” Leaders of various schools came together and forged the idea of a safe haven for them both regardless of the position.
It was decided that the leaders may choose the location of the safe haven in their schools” he rebuffed
“You are so smart” he chuckled mockingly.
“Heh” I snorted out and left.
I and E avoided each other for weeks despite the fact that we sat together almost regularly.
It was like we didn’t exist in each other’s eyes.
But that didn’t stop us from sneaking peeks at each other, feeling the tiny tingles every now and then we touched each other whether on purpose or not and silently watching ourselves when we thought the other person wasn’t looking…
Well, or so I thought.
A month later, we finally spoke to each other…..
Mmmmm it wasn’t really speaking but more like arguing with each other.
It was the first time we fought using our powers and also the first time I met with my father’s arch-nemesis’s son.
