Kamari
The two supernatural beings that I sensed are giving off the very same essence that I remember sensing earlier today. If I concentrate hard enough I might be able to determine which species they are. I have been trying to focus on the supernatural beings that I sense so that I can figure out their species or blended species. I doubted myself earlier today. I am picking up on three species other then myself and my father, a Vampire/Lycan hybrid, and two very powerful Lycans. I doubted my senses today, but I can now see that I was on point with my gifts. As the two Lycans approach the dinner table, realize that scent that I smelled earlier today was also most definitely real. It is so intoxicating and I feel myself losing control of myself. I know my mate is in this home. I can smell him coming closer to me. Our eyes meet as he stands before me. Beside my mate is another strong Lycan of whom, if I am not mistaken is scanning our surroundings like he is a protector. I have heard that this type of Lycan exists but the power he has is like no other Lycan I have encountered. My mate finally seats himself at the table with us. I feel his power wash over my senses as if he is calling to me. My wolf is prancing up and down in my head. Because of my unique gifts, I was introduced to my wolf shortly after my mother passed. My wolf and I are very close to each other. Sanai begins to scream in my head the word mate. I hear the word mate come from my lips in Sanai’s voice. I heard the name Lamar spoken of fondly by his mother. I wonder how they became mother and son but that is a question to be answered on another day. My mate’s name is Lamar. After several minutes go by of just staring at each other and me taking in his pine scented smell, I say hi to Lamar. Lamar is so over the top handsome, but I can sense that he is very humble. We discuss his love for football, our class schedules for school, and he compliments me on my hair and clothing. I tell him that I design my own clothes and jewelry. He tells me how he and Tony met on the playground in kindergarten. I kind of get the sense that he does not know that he is a Lycan and believes himself to be human. My suspicions are confirmed when I hear Tony link me to tell me that he has been Lamar’s protector since kindergarten and that Lamar does not know about himself. I was a little surprised that Tony possessed the gift to link with others, but I know that this must be a part of Tony being able to protect Lamar. I am sure that after tonight’s dinner all will begin to be revealed to Lamar.
My father and Mystic seem to be having a full conversation with each other and I can tell that the two of them are falling hard for each other. I wink at my father to signal to him my approval. It is nice to see him enjoying himself finally. I know he took it hard when my mother passed away. I am curious though about whether he knows that Mystic is not only Lycan, but that she is part vampire. I am sensing that she was born from a vampire and Lycan mating. I will allow them to discuss matters of the heart for themselves since, I seem to have my own mate to learn about.
With dinner being over, I find myself reluctant to leave my mate to head out the door with my father. Lamar walks me to the door and he takes my hand in his. I wonder if he will pretend tomorrow that we are not mates in school. I hear Tony link me and say he better not ignore you in my head. Wait what, Tony can read minds as well. Oh dear we are going to have to talk about that particular gift. I head to the car while my father says good night to Mystic. Love is definitely in the air tonight.
