Seo-jun lunged forward to grab the tablet, his arms flailing wildly.
But when he torched his hips, a warm, thick fluid slowly trickled down his inner thigh.Seo-jun stopped mid-lunge.His body landed heavily on the bed’s edge as he suddenly went stiff.
Slowly, painstakingly slow, he pulled his head down and peered down at his bare leg.
A thick, white string of goo oozed down his thigh. The silence in the room was deafening.
You could’ve heard a pin drop in this three-thousand-something square foot master suite.
Tae-hyuk blinked at the horrified look on Seo-jun’s face.
“Ah.
That….” SNAP !..
The last fraying shred of Han Seo-jun’s sanity snapped, vanishing into the ether like a skyrocket’s burst of crimson light.
“YOU—!
YOU UNWASHED, ANIMALISTIC, DEGENERATE BARBARIAN!” Seo-jun bellowed, his voice nearly powerful enough to shatter bullet-proof glass.
“YOU LEFT IT INSIDE ME?!
YOU DIDN’T EVEN CLEAN IT OUT?!” “Seo-jun, wait-” “I WILL END YOUR BLOODLINE!” Seo-jun threw caution to the wind.
The man’s pain had flown out the window.
He launched himself off the bed like a feral housecat, pouncing right at Tae-hyuk’s broad chest, sending the other man sprawling across the thick Persian rug.
THUD!
“YOU OVERGROWN BULLDOZER!!
YOU EVIL, SELFISH CORPORATE SCUM!” White goose feathers erupted and floated lazily through the air as Seo-jun reared back and brought the heavy luxury pillow down like a mace, raining down a brutal, relentless pounding on Tae-hyuk’s head, shoulders, and face.
Seo-jun shouted, each syllable punctuated by a heavy WHACK of the shredded pillow across Tae-hyuk’s face “DIE!
DIE!
JUST DIE!!” Tae-hyuk crossed his thick forearms over his chest to block the onslaught as he chuckled deeply, sending a cascade of white feathers drifting down around him like snow.
“Seo-jun, calm down, you’re going to-” “DONT TELL ME TO CALM DOWN, YOU OVERPOWERED TANK!” SWOOSH.
The heavy double doors to the master suite automatically slid open.
Secretary Kim, the ever-impeccable right-hand man of Kang Group, entered the Executive Suite, briefcase in one hand and a secured tablet in the other, fully prepared to brief the Vice Chairman for the day.
“Vice Chairman, the board meeting has been rescheduled to ten, and the security report on the alley-” Secretary Kim stopped dead in his tracks, his brows knitting together as a look of absolute bewilderment washed over his otherwise stoic features.
There, on the center of the sunlit floor, sat Kang Tae-hyuk, the fearsome Prime Alpha heir to the billion-dollar Kang empire, cross-legged on the rug, blocking Seo-jun’s wild punches with his broad forearms, casually tossing insults left and right.
And pinning him down was a half-naked young man wrapped in a dark serpentine silk, yelling some kind of curses in a language that wasn’t even recognized in most democratic countries, raining down heavy blows with a shredded luxury pillow.
WHACK!
“AND TAKE THIS, YOU HUNDRED-POUND ANVIL!” Seo-jun roared, his face red as he continued his assault, totally unaware of the interloper’s presence.
Secretary Kim stood rooted in his spot.
Slowly, ever so slowly, he lifted one index finger and pushed his gold-framed glasses up the bridge of his nose, fixing his piercing gaze on his boss’s crumpled form on the floor.
He stared at the cascading white feathers.
He stared at the half-naked young man wrapped in the silk sheet, shouting incoherent curses, delivering a brutal beating to the Vice Chairman with a shredded pillow.
A long, excruciating pause of stunned silence washed over the Secretary’s being.
I went to Seoul National University for this, Secretary Kim thought grimly to himself, eye twitching madly as he stared at the scene before him.
I graduated valedictorian.
I passed the rigorous corporate screening tests with an A+ and handled black budget operations for years.
Secretary Kim slowly placed his leather folder on the floor and closed his eyes, taking a deep, heavy sigh.
“…..Vice Chairman,” Secretary Kim said, his tone frighteningly devoid of all emotion as he stared icily at his boss’s crumpled form on the floor.
“Would you prefer me to call human resources to submit my resignation, or shall I jump off the balcony directly?” Tae-hyuk narrowed his eyes at the young man’s furious back.
“Seo-jun, I’m questioning every decision that brought me to this moment in my existence,” the Secretary said evenly, his face a pale, deathly mask of sheer existential horror.
“I will be outside.
Please try not to kill the Vice Chairman before the market opens at nine.” Secretary Kim turned around on his heels and left the room, the heavy double doors sliding shut behind him.
