As much as she wanted an immediate divorce from Charles, without her identity card, it won’t be possible.

Soon, the chaotic atmosphere seemed to die down, replaced by the low, predatory growl of luxury engines.

Two pristine Lamborghini—one white, one scorching red—skidded to a halt in perfect synchronization, followed immediately by a menacing black Ferrari that pulled up behind them, sealing the entrance to the office.Full novel: THE LAST WEREWOLF REVENGE: LA LUNA — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Their arrival cought the attention of all passerbys, Pedestrians froze as they stared.

The driver’s side door of the lead Lamborghini lifted upwards like a bird’s wing

And, a stunning young woman whose beauty was matched only by the sheer arrogance in her posture, slowly emerged.

She was draped in a tailored Louis Vuitton designer dress that clung to her effortlessly.

Every detail, from the minimalist gold accessories to the meticulous way she didn’t look at anyone, screamed “pampered rich kid.”

And yeah, she was….

Before she could take her second step, two well-built bodyguards stepped out of the black Ferrari, with their black tailored suits and polished leather shoes.

They positioned themselves behind her with practiced precision, creating an aura of untouchable dignity.

She took a deliberate step forward, her eyes scanning around as if looking for someone worth her time.

Charles smiled gleefully same to his mother when they saw the young lady coming towards them and greeted them obsequiously.

“Lucy, what brings you here?”

Lucy smiled and looked down to them, assumed with superiority, she arrogantly asked,

“Didn’t you say you were going to divorce your useless wretched wife today?

Ain’t you going to complete the divorce procedures?”

Surprisingly, Charles replied to her humbly,

“This b*tch claimed to have lost her identity card.”

He glared at Eva fiercely.

Eva stood dump stamped like a fool who didn’t belong to that world at that moment.

“Come on, you can get a divorce even without your ID card.” She said.

Lucy’s father was a friend to the manager, it made things easier for Charles.

Lucy Wrapped her hand around Charles’s waist, while casting a cold gaze at Eva. Find the original chapter at g.com.

Charles smiled after seeing the way Lucy held his waist and gave her a kiss on the cheeks, flirting with each other as they entered the office.

No one doubted that they made a terrible couple.

Eva’s fore face wrinkled, eyebrows contracted together, nostrils flared while the jaws clenched as anger was burning in her eyes.

“He can’t even give me some small respect in public?” She sneered.

Her throats gradually bittered looking at Charles’s behaviours towards her.

Charles not only held her but also show affection towards her publicly infront of Eva, and had no signs of remorse.

“With Lucy as my daughter in-law, our family wealth will increase..” jasmine said inwardly as she gleefully glared at his son and Lucy.

As for Eva, she kept reminding herself that freedom is on its way, she calmed down and followed Lucy, Charles and jasmine to the Managers office.

“Sorry Mr Hudsons, according to the marriage law, you have one month cooling off period, and since Ms Eva has no identity card, it can’t be filled right a way.”

Lucy wasn’t happy with the staff’s reply, she banged the table in anger commanding the staff lady to call her manager right a way.

The female staff wasn’t happy yet she maintained her calmness .

“Sorry ma’am!, but I can’t! Am just following the rules.” The staff replied politely to her.

The divorce failed as they were given a cooling month.

But things turned upside down for Eva as she reached the Hudsons mansion.

She stood at the door entrance frozen in shock as her mother in law’s words hung in the air, piercing through out the whole house everything fading into nothingness as she stared at her.

” Since your not ready to leave my son’s life , l decided to sell you.” Jasmine declared, her voice cold and devoid of any trace of remorse.

“I’ve sold you to Alphab and he has payed already.”

Alphab was a notorious old man known for his cruelty and unyielding power in the region of kila city.

His name whispered in hushed tone by those who dared to speak of him.

Eva had heard a lot of horrific stories about the Alhabet, his ruthless dominance, and the countless lives taken by him.

Only hearing about it, tears filled Eva’s eyes, that she could barely whisper as she pleaded with jasmine,

“Please you can’t do this to me, I will leave and go far away from her, but please.

Don’t send me to him of all people!

A cruel smirk played on Jasmine’s lips as she met her gaze with icy eyes.

“Sorry, but am more than serious, Eva! Our business is crumbling and your the chip to it’s uprise again.” She smirked.

” But don’t worry all you need is to give him a heir and your good to go, other wise you know what he will do to you…”

Tears flowed down Eva’s helpless face like a river, and Charles?

He was quitely sitted at the couch, sipping his coffee like nothing was going on.

” No!” She shouted for the first time ever since she come into the Hudsons , even jasmine was so surprised, her voice loud like thunderstorm mixed with fear and defiance that even Charles placed his coffee on the table and turned his attention towards Eva..

“I won’t let you succeed, am not a property to be sold to satisfy your ambitions and ego.”

Jasmine’s face face contorted into a mask of anger ,her voice laced with threat as she approached much closer to her.

“You had a choice to walk way back then, but now.. , you don’t!!”

Eva’s breath caught in her throat as she stared at jasmine, the verification sank in that she has no choice.

“If only you had divorced me, all this wouldn’t have happened.

But again, it’s good that we didn’t.” Charles said with a smirk on his lips

“Don’t they have any humor left in them?” Eva thought.

But with the help of Charles who was sitted comfortably at the parlour enjoying his coffee, jasmine got the courage to push Eva hard on the ground knowing the son is there for her.

” Go pack your things, your leaving tomorrow morning.”
