Keegan’s POV
My gaze stayed hard on the screen as my fingers swiftly moved across the keyboard.
I replayed the footage of the mysterious woman for the fifth time, watching every movement until I confirmed that she had entered the hotel.
“Any strange movement from the subject?” I asked the Made Man assigned to the surveillance.
“Nothing, Boss. But you have to see this.”
I walked toward the monitor as he dragged his finger across the timeline.
The footage jumped forward.
My fist curled.
Bang!
I slammed it against the table.
“Track her.”
My voice dropped into a growl as I slid my coat over my shoulders and stormed out of the room.
“Tell our associates to find that woman. Now.” I stopped by the door and looked over my shoulder.
“Bring her to our rundown warehouse and keep her there.”
My hand slipped beneath my coat, pulling out my gun.
I aimed it at one of my Made Men.
“If she refuses to speak, make her understand that silence won’t protect her. And if she insists on remaining loyal to her owner…”
I lowered the gun slightly, my eyes narrowing.
“End it.”
He immediately nodded before making his way toward the main door.
I turned toward Vincenthius.
“Any updates about the mastermind?”
He lowered his gaze.
That was enough to tell me everything.
“Damn it.”
My fist came down against the table again.
“La Cosa Nostra demanded a meeting for tomorrow,” Vincenthius began.
“And I received an anonymous letter…”
My jaw tightened.
“Continue.”
He scoffed before handing me the tablet.
“It’s better if you read it yourself.”
My brows drew together as my eyes moved across the screen.
From: Anonymous_Sender
Do you like my surprise, Mi Amore?
Anyways, don’t bother trying to find me, dear.
I’ll be the one stepping through your doorway.
See you soon… Bello.
The tablet left my hand.
Crash!
It struck the wall, the sound echoing through the room.
I planted both palms against the edge of the table, my teeth grinding together.
“Track that sender. Now!”
Vincenthius met my stare without flinching.
“I’ve checked it. There’s no address. They destroyed the device after sending the email.”
Heat crawled up my spine.
I twisted my neck slowly, my jaw twitching.
Then my hand swept across the table.
Chairs scraped against the floor.
Papers scattered.
A steel chair went flying and crashed against the wall.
“Tell the pilot to prepare our flight.”
I straightened my coat.
“I’ll personally attend the La Cosa Nostra meeting. You’re coming with me.”
My gaze settled on Vincenthius.
“You’re in charge of my position here until I return.”
Without waiting for an answer, I took long strides toward the main door.
Minutes later, the engine roared beneath me.
I gripped the steering wheel and pressed harder on the accelerator.
The tires tore across the silent road as the city lights blurred past the windows.
My eyes remained fixed ahead.
Someone wanted my attention.
They had it.

“The massacre happened in Rome, Italy, at the hotel where the engagement ceremony was held. Following that, the inciting incident occurred here in Los Angeles.”
The Godfather’s confidante and right-hand man stood at the front of the room. This story is hosted at g.com.
Murmurs spread through the gathering.
I sat in the last row, one arm resting against the chair as my eyes remained fixed on the screen.
The footage continued.
Then I saw it.
A flash of red.
The hem of a dress disappearing through the smoke after the bomb went off.
My fingers tightened around the armrest.
The footage continued playing, but I barely heard the voices around me.
The similarity was too precise to ignore.
“How about…”
My voice cut through the murmurs.
“…that same incident was meant to send us a warning from an outside organization?”
Every boss in the room turned toward me.
Across the room, the Godfather’s eyes settled on mine.
Sharp.
Calculating.
Waiting.
“The details are almost identical,” I continued.
“And in the surveillance footage, there’s the same figure appearing before the chaos.”
I paused.
“A woman.”
A few sarcastic laughs came from the table.
One of the bosses leaned back, a smirk pulling at his mouth.
“Keegan… you’re quite the man. But how can a woman seize our territory?”
His eyes narrowed.
“Is that an effect of losing your precious plaything?”
My teeth clicked together.
My fingers curled against the armrest.
I slowly turned my head toward him.
He stopped smiling.
“What made you think that?” the Godfather asked.
His voice carried through the room, heavy with authority.
I shifted my gaze toward him.
“They sent me an anonymous letter.”
I reached into my coat and placed the tablet on the table.
“And it definitely came from a woman.”
The room fell quiet.
The Godfather’s confidante walked toward my consigliere and handed him the tablet.
The Godfather read the message without changing his expression.
His fingers tapped slowly against the armrest.
Once.
Twice.
The silence stretched.
“Any idea about this, Ciffarelli?” he asked.
Before I could answer—
Bang!
The doors suddenly burst open.
Every gaze shifted toward the entrance.
A woman walked into the room wearing a customized suit that fit sharply against her frame.
Her expression remained serious, her entire appearance carrying a dark, gothic edge.
A cigarette rested between her fingers.
Smoke curled from her lips as she entered without hesitation.
One of the men moved to escort her out.
She caught his arm.
With one swift movement, she yanked him sideways.
The man stumbled and crashed into another boss’s table.
The room erupted in murmurs.
She didn’t even look bothered.
“Can’t you guys welcome a guest properly?” she retorted.
“What’s with all this fuss?”
Her eyes moved toward the Godfather.
“Dad, why don’t you introduce me instead?”
“Women aren’t allowed here—”
“Let her be.”
The Godfather’s voice silenced the room. The source of this chapter is g.com.
“She is my stubborn daughter.”
His gaze settled on her.
“Aiyannah.”
He paused.
“Aiyannah Sartori.”
My eyes remained fixed on her.
“What are you doing here?” His voice was cold and distant.
She took another drag from her cigarette.
“Curiosity kills me, Dad.”
Smoke slipped from her lips.
“Can’t I be a Doña here?”
“You can be my Suprema if you marry me, Bella.”
One of the bosses leaned back with a grin and winked at her.
Aiyannah slowly turned toward him.
Her expression didn’t change.
She simply raised her middle finger.
“I’m not someone’s aspiring wife.”
Her voice remained calm.
“I do what you do, so don’t see me as an ignorant, weak daughter of the Godfather.”
Something shifted inside my chest.
My gaze stayed on her.
She had the same kind of defiance I had seen before.
But there was something different about her.
Who was she?
I had never heard Matthiuos mention a daughter.
“Caspien.”
I didn’t take my eyes off her.
“Boss?”
“Background check her.”
My gaze followed Aiyannah as she walked farther into the room.
“And try to locate Savannah.”
Caspien gave a short nod.
I lifted my glass and took a sip.
The wine left a sweetness and bitterness on my tongue at the same time.
Interesting.

The meeting ended shortly after.
Aiyannah left the room without another glance behind her.
Yet her image remained in my head.
I leaned against the table and lit a cigarette.
“Did you find anything?”
Caspien stood before me, tablet in hand.
“Her identity was hidden from the public. She was only discovered later by the Godfather after being hidden by her mother.”
He scrolled through the information.
“She trained under her father’s protection and his men. More importantly, she controls both illegal and legitimate businesses.”
He paused.
“She barely works under her father’s businesses.”
A slow smirk pulled at the corner of my mouth.
“Interesting…”
Caspien scoffed.
I turned my eyes toward him.
“Does that mean you’ve already forgotten about Savannah?”
My stare hardened.
Caspien immediately zipped his mouth shut.
“That’s why I told you to find her.”
I took another drag from the cigarette.
“She gave me a word before she left Italy.”
My eyes narrowed.
“I want to know exactly what she meant by it.”
More incoming character are weaving!!!
Does Matthiuos was the father of Savannah?
