Pink rolled over on the polished floor, quickly shifting until she was sitting on her knees with her legs tucked neatly beneath her. She locked her glittering eyes onto Alice, her voice dropping into a breathless, dramatic gasp. "Alice!! I can't believe I finally found you, and then he went and messed absolutely everything up!!"
But before Alice could process that strange choice of words, Pink's expression softened into a look of absolute, starry-eyed devotion. "But that's okay... I'll completely forgive him this time, just because you intervened to save me!"
Suddenly, a massive, bright blush erupted across Pink's face as Tony forcefully seized the wheel back. His posture stiffened, and his voice pitched back into his own frantic cadence. "Alice, uh... whatever she says, absolutely do not listen to her! She is a complete and total maniac!"
In response, Pink brutally slapped her own cheek, wresting back control with an unhinged smirk playing on her lips. "Just for that... you knoooow we've still got a massive crush on you, Alice! Even after you rej-"
Tony panicked, violently taking over the vocal cords again as a cold sweat broke out across his forehead. "No, no, no, no, no!! Don't listen to her!!!" he screamed out loud, desperately trying to drown out his own alter-ego's voice.
Alice's eyes went completely wide, her jaw dropping slightly as she stared at the thrashing, self-destructive magical girl on the floor. "Pink... just said he??"
Before the girls could investigate the massive slip-up, a sharp clicking sound echoed down the corridor. A teacher was approaching them, deliberately adjusting her glasses. Her hands were trembling quite heavily, forcing her to clamp one hand tightly around her own arm just to steady herself before she finally walked up to the chaotic scene.
It was Miss Marcy. She forced a bright, entirely unconvincing smile onto her face. "Hello!" she greeted them, her voice shaking with adrenaline. "Sorry, I hope you five aren't having a big, important thing right now, because I really need to talk to Miss Pink for a bit about her grades!"
The group fell into a surprised silence. Under normal circumstances, a random high school teacher casually walking up to a group of armed magical girls to talk about report cards would be intensely questioned-but given the absolute madness they had just witnessed, no one pressed her on it. Well, no one except Pink herself.
"What do you even mean?!" Pink snapped, utterly baffled by the sudden academic intervention.
Suddenly, Miss Marcy let out a nervous chuckle. Before Pink could say another syllable, the teacher lunged forward, firmly planting her entire hand right over Pink's mouth to muffle her.
"I'll see you later, girls! Have a good rest of your days!" Miss Marcy called out cheerfully over her shoulder.
Without giving anyone time to respond, Miss Marcy literally began dragging Pink backward down the hallway. She was either possessing a terrifying amount of hidden, superhuman strength, or Tony was actively holding Pink's consciousness back from fighting her off-or, most likely, it was a beautiful combination of both.
The remaining squad members stood in a stunned huddle, silently watching as Miss Marcy and the muffled, squirming Pink completely disappeared around the far corner of the hallway.
The manic girl said. "You know..."
She pointed down the hallway where miss Marcy had vanished with pink.
"That's the most suspicious thing I've ever seen."
Alice then said "Wait! Wait wait wait! Are teachers allowed to kidnap magical girls?!"
The grey girl said "Apparently."
The group fell silent, all of them staring at the empty hallway where Miss Marcy had vanished with Pink.
The stoic samurai girl immediately broke the heavy silence, her eyes narrowing as she looked in the direction of the exit. "She... was obviously covering for Pink's true identity."
Alice gasped, her hands flying to her cheeks. "Wh... what?! Why?!" She looked between maniac girl and grey girl, her mind completely racing. "Why in the world would a regular teacher actively protect Pink's real identity?!"
