At that moment, Mo Xingchen suddenly charged forward in fury.

He grabbed Li Chuan by the collar and roared viciously,

“Li Chuan, watch your mouth! Say that again—who are you calling trash?”Full novel: The Metaphysics Mastermind’s Thoughts Were Read, The Whole Class Joined Her in Crushing the Scumbags — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Believe it or not, I’ll make sure you leave this classroom horizontally today!”

Mo Xingchen was the sports representative of Class Thirteen.

He was tall and powerfully built, with solid muscles all over his body.

Especially his thick, strong arms—they radiated strength at a glance.

Very few people at school dared to provoke him.

Yet faced with Mo Xingchen’s anger, Li Chuan showed no fear whatsoever.

Instead, he raised his chin and looked at him provocatively.

“Oh? And what are you going to do about it?”

“Let me tell you something—if you dare lay a finger on me, I’ll have my aunt expel you from school immediately.”

The moment those words came out, Mo Xingchen’s imposing aura deflated like a punctured balloon.

There was no helping it.

Li Chuan’s aunt was the Dean of Students.

As a sports-track student, Mo Xingchen’s grades weren’t great, but he still had a chance to get into university through athletics.

His parents had high hopes for him.

He couldn’t afford to throw away his future.

So no matter how angry he was, he didn’t dare risk everything to fight Li Chuan.

After struggling internally for a moment, he finally loosened his grip.

Seeing him back down, Li Chuan became even more arrogant.

Laughing loudly, he actually reached out and slapped Mo Xingchen’s cheek several times.

“Hahaha! Look at you!”

“You’re exactly the useless trash I thought you were!”

“Your entire class is a bunch of cowards! Trash!”

His smug, villainous expression was enough to make anyone sick.

The students of Class Thirteen were furious.

But not a single one of them dared to make a move.

[Damn it.]

[He’s acting this arrogant right in front of me?]

[That means he’s insulting me too.]

Smack!

A crisp sound suddenly rang out.

Without warning, Li Chuan felt something slam into his head.

A sharp pain exploded through his skull.

Clutching his head, he shouted angrily,

“Who the hell dared hit me?!”

While he rubbed the sore spot, Yang Mian leisurely raised a hand from nearby.

“Sorry.”

“My hand slipped.”

Nobody believed that excuse.

For a “slip” to hit Li Chuan’s head with such perfect accuracy was more impressive than hitting a willow leaf from a hundred paces away.

Even ghosts wouldn’t believe such nonsense.

“Yang Mian!”

“You publicly slandered my goddess earlier, and I haven’t even settled that score yet!”

“And now you’re throwing books at me?”

“Do you really think I’m easy to bully?”

“Believe it or not, I’ll have my aunt expel you immediately!”

Li Chuan glared at her furiously.

Yang Mian simply sneered.

“Expel me?”

“You really think your little Dean of Students aunt has that much authority?”

“Keep dreaming.”

She genuinely couldn’t stand Li Chuan.

“What did you say?!”

“You dare look down on my aunt?”

“Let me tell you, she’s one of the most powerful people in this school!”

“As long as she says the word, nothing is impossible!”

Li Chuan shouted angrily.

“Oh?”

“Is that so?”

“Don’t tell me you think her authority is greater than the principal’s?”

Yang Mian folded her arms and looked at him mockingly.

“So what if it isn’t?”

Li Chuan suddenly had an idea.

“What, are you saying the principal will stand up for you?”

“The principal isn’t your father!”

The moment those words left his mouth, the students of Class Thirteen erupted into discussion.

“Damn, if Yang Mian really is the principal’s daughter, this is going to get interesting.”

“Yeah, but that’s probably impossible.”

Yang Mian crossed her arms.

“My father may not be the principal.”

“But my mother happens to be a member of the school’s board.”

“Do you really think your aunt can expel me?”

Li Chuan laughed as though he’d just heard the funniest joke in the world.

“Hahaha!”

“You’re saying your mother is a board member?”

“Stop dreaming.”

“Our school only has one female board member.”

“And that’s Princess Yang Huan’s mother.”

“Take a good look at yourself.”

“Who do you think you are?”

“Just because your surname is Yang, you’re going to claim a board member as your mother?”

Faced with his ridicule, Yang Mian remained calm.

She casually said,

“What if I told you Yang Huan and I were switched at birth?”

“Would you believe me?”

The entire classroom instantly fell silent.

Everyone stared at her in shock.

Before anyone else could react, Li Chuan burst out laughing again.

“Hahahaha!”

“Switched at birth?”

“Your imagination is incredible.”

“What is this, some cheesy soap opera?”

“With how good you are at making things up, why bother studying?”

“You should become a screenwriter instead.”

He continued mocking her relentlessly.

Yang Mian shrugged.

“Whether we were switched at birth or not, why don’t you ask your Princess Yang Huan?”

“Speaking of which, isn’t the star of the show here already?”

Because of her spectacular fall into dog poop that morning, Yang Huan had gone home to rinse her mouth dozens of times and change into clean clothes before coming to school.

As a result, she was an entire class period late.

The moment she arrived, she heard Yang Mian discussing their identities.

Their parents still hadn’t publicly announced Yang Mian’s status.

Yet Yang Mian was already exposing it herself.

Bitch.

Bitch!

Instantly, everyone turned to look at Yang Huan.

Waiting for an explanation.

The moment Li Chuan saw Yang Huan, his eyes practically glued themselves to her like industrial-strength adhesive.

They couldn’t move away.

“Yang Huan!”

“This new girl, Yang Mian, says you two were switched at birth.”

“She says she’s the daughter of the Yang family’s board-member mother, and you’re the fake heiress.”

“Is it true?”

Tears immediately welled up in Yang Huan’s eyes.

The tears came so naturally it was almost impressive.

“Big Sister…”

“Mom and Dad already said that we’re both their daughters.”

“Why would you exclude me in front of our classmates?”

She knew the truth couldn’t stay hidden forever.

Sooner or later everyone would learn that Yang Mian was the Yang family’s biological daughter.

Since it was unavoidable, she decided to take advantage of the situation and win everyone’s sympathy.

After all, her parents had promised her one thing:

They would never publicly announce that she was the fake heiress.

To outsiders, the Yang family would simply have two daughters.

Yang Mian was merely the daughter who had been lost and recently found.

That way, both of them would still be recognized as daughters of the Yang family.

Both would remain young ladies of the Yang household.
