The First Throne burned.

Black flames spread across its ancient surface, consuming fragments of dead universes that had been trapped within it.

Kael stood beneath it.

Liora beside him.

The shadow behind them remained silent.

And above—

the First God opened his six wings.

The Law bowed before him.

Kael noticed.

“You created the Law?”

The First God shook his head.

“No.”

His voice echoed through every dimension.

“I created the first rule.”

Kael's eyes narrowed.

“What rule?”

The First God raised one hand.

Everything became silent.

Then he said:

“That something must always be above something else.”

Kael understood.

Hierarchy.

Power.

Authority.

A chain with no end.

The First God pointed toward him.

“You broke that rule.”

Kael smiled.

“I don't remember agreeing to it.”

The First God laughed.

“Exactly.”

His hand closed.

Reality collapsed around Kael.

Liora disappeared.

Kael's eyes widened.

“LIORA!”

He reached forward—

but there was nothing.

No space.

No time.

No Liora.

For the first time—

panic struck him.

He tried to activate Absolute Authority.

Nothing happened.

The black mark on his palm remained dark.

The First God spoke.

“You cannot use your Authority here.”

Kael looked around.

“Where is she?”

“Beyond your reach.”

Kael's eyes became cold.

“Bring her back.”

“No.”

Kael raised his sword.

The First God smiled.

“Fight me.”

Kael charged.

The distance between them vanished.

Kael's sword struck.

CLANG!

The First God blocked it with one wing.

Kael twisted.

A second strike.

Third.

Fourth.

The First God moved effortlessly.

Kael's blade cut through one wing.

Black blood spilled.

The First God looked at the wound.

Then smiled.

“Good.”

Kael attacked again.

The First God caught his wrist.

BOOM!

Kael was thrown across the Outer Realm.

He crashed through three dimensions.

He stopped himself.

Blood ran down his face.

He looked at his hand.

It was shaking.

Not from fear.

From exhaustion.

The First God appeared before him.

“You are powerful.”

Kael stood.

“But power is not enough.”

Kael wiped the blood from his mouth.

“I know.”

The First God paused.

Kael smiled.

“That’s why I stopped relying on it.”

He dropped the broken sword.

The First God stared.

“What are you doing?”

Kael raised his fists.

“Fighting.”

The First God laughed.

Then disappeared.

BOOM!

His fist struck Kael's chest.

Kael flew backward.

Another attack.

Kael blocked.

His arm fractured.

Another.

His ribs cracked.

Another.

Kael fell.

The First God stood over him.

“You cannot win.”

Kael slowly stood again.

“You're probably right.”

Another punch.

Kael fell.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Each time—

he stood.

The First God became increasingly irritated.

“Why?”

Kael looked up.

“Because Liora is waiting.”

The First God stopped.

Kael smiled.

“And I promised her I'd come back.”

The First God stared at him.

Then something strange happened.

His expression changed.

Not anger.

Recognition.

“You…”

Kael frowned.

“What?”

The First God looked at him for a long moment.

“You sound like him.”

“Who?”

The First God didn't answer.

Instead—

he raised his hand.

The entire Outer Realm disappeared.

Kael fell into darkness.

He landed on a white floor.

A familiar voice spoke.

“Kael?”

He turned.

Liora stood there.

Alive.

Unharmed.

Kael ran toward her.

He stopped just before reaching her.

Something was wrong.

Her eyes were silver.

“Liora?”

She smiled.

“You came.”

Kael stared.

“Where are we?”

“I don't know.”

“Where is the First God?”

“He isn't here.”

Kael looked around.

Then he noticed thousands of doors.

Each one showed a different world.

Different versions of himself.

In one—

Kael was a king.

In another—

a farmer.

In another—

a soldier.

In another—

he had never awakened.

In another—

Liora was dead.

Kael stepped back.

“What is this?”

Liora answered:

“Choices.”

Kael looked at her.

She smiled.

“Every choice we could have made.”

Kael's eyes widened.

The First God appeared behind them.

“This is the First Throne's true power.”

Kael turned.

“You brought us here.”

“Yes.”

“Why?”

The First God looked at Liora.

“Because I want to know something.”

“What?”

“Which of you is the original?”

Silence.

Kael frowned.

“What does that mean?”

The First God pointed at Liora.

“Her existence violates the Law.”

Then he pointed at Kael.

“Your existence violates the Authority.”

He stepped closer.

“And yet both of you survived.”

Kael raised his fists.

“So?”

The First God smiled.

“Perhaps the universe did not create you.”

The doors began opening.

One by one.

Thousands.

Millions.

Billions.

Every version of Kael.

Every version of Liora.

All looking toward them.

The First God whispered:

“Perhaps you created the universe.”

Kael froze.

The shadow suddenly appeared.

Its voice was urgent.

“Don't listen to him!”

The First God looked amused.

“Too late.”

Kael turned toward the shadow.

“What does he mean?”

The shadow hesitated.

Then—

for the first time—

it told Kael the truth.

“The original universe…”

The shadow looked at Liora.

“…was created by the two of you.”

Kael's eyes widened.

“What?”

The shadow continued.

“You weren't born sixteen years ago.”

Liora stepped backward.

“Then who am I?”

The shadow answered:

“You are the First Choice.”

Kael looked at himself.

“And me?”

The shadow's eyes darkened.

“You are the First Authority.”

The First God smiled.

“Now you understand.”

Kael stared at the endless doors.

The truth was becoming clear.

His Awakening.

The Authority.

Liora's impossible existence.

The First King.

The Law.

Erevan.

All of it was connected.

But one question remained.

Kael looked at the First God.

“Then why don't I remember?”

The First God smiled.

“Because you chose to forget.”

Kael's heart stopped.

“Why?”

The First God looked toward Liora.

“Because you were afraid of what you would become.”

Kael slowly turned toward her.

Liora's eyes filled with tears.

“I think…”

She touched her chest.

“…I remember.”

Kael stared at her.

She whispered:

“We created the first universe.”

The First Throne trembled.

“And then…”

Her voice broke.

“…we destroyed it.”

Silence.

Kael's face went pale.

The First God laughed softly.

“Welcome home.”

Behind them—

the oldest door in existence opened.

And inside stood two figures.

A young Kael.

A young Liora.

Holding hands.

Standing before a newborn universe.

Then the memory spoke.

“Let's make a world where nobody has to lose anyone.”

Kael stared at his younger self.

And suddenly—

he remembered.

Why the Authority chose him.

Why Liora existed.

Why the Law feared them.

Why the First God wanted them separated.

And why his emotional erosion had begun.

Because every time Kael used Absolute Authority—

he wasn't paying a price.

He was remembering what he had sacrificed.

Kael's eyes widened.

The First God smiled.

“Yes.”

He whispered:

“Now you finally remember who you really are.”

Kael looked at Liora.

She was crying.

He reached for her hand.

Then—

the First Throne cracked.

A voice came from inside it.

A voice that sounded exactly like Kael.

“And now that you remember…”

The universe shook.

“…you can finally finish what you started.”
