“It’s fine, Lou Yishu can’t tell.”

“LMAO at Lou Yishu’s expression. It’s like he’s saying: ‘What kind of fit is he throwing now?’”

“Truly, there’s a lid for every pot.”

“Director, I’d like to use a game card,” Ye Qi said.

The card Ye Qi brought out was a “Collective Game Card.” In this scenario, the audience’s vote on the wager was crucial. After a period of waiting, the host announced that the vote had settled on a 5-coin buy-in.

Lou Yishu looked at the 75 gold coins in his hand. He suspected Qiao Yuxi’s fans had put in some serious work to keep the wager low so they wouldn’t lose their winnings.

“Our collective game is called ‘I Have, You Haven’t.’ All eight guests start with five ‘lives.’ You will take turns stating one thing you have done that no one else has. If no one else has done it, everyone else loses a life. However, if even one other person has done it, the speaker loses a life. The last survivor wins.”

The rules were simple, but there were two caveats: first, guests couldn’t mention things related to their profession (e.g., Gu Huazhang couldn’t brag about a business deal). Second, the turn order was vital; those at the end might lose all their lives before they even get to speak.

To ensure fairness, they drew lots for the order: Shen Mo, Qi Luo, Gu Huazhang, Lou Yishu, Qiao Yuxi, Su’er, Ye Qi, Yu Yuan.

The guests raised their left hands, five fingers representing their five lives.

Shen Mo opened the game by dragging the atmosphere to sub-zero: “I haven’t spoken a word for half a month not even to myself.”

The other seven guests: “…”

This guy isn’t even a normal person! The bullet chat exploded:

“I knew Brother Silent was reclusive, but not THIS reclusive!”

“Is this the difference between me and a musical genius?”

“Who would even dare to challenge him to a silence-off?”

Everyone except Shen Mo folded one finger down.

Next was Qi Luo. He smiled, this game favored him. Even outside of his beauty vlogging, he had a personal hobby of cross-dressing.

However, after he finished saying, “I have cross-dressed in women’s clothing,” Lou Yishu did not lower his finger.

“You’ve worn that?!” Before Lou Yishu could even speak, Qiao Yuxi reacted with explosive shock.

“I did when I was little…” Lou Yishu bit his lip shyly, the tops of his ears turning red. “My mo—mother forced me to.”

Back then, his mother thought he looked like a delicate porcelain doll and put him in girl’s robes every day. The people of the capital actually thought the Lou household had been blessed with a daughter. Not only that, she took him to various painters to have him captured from every angle, frequently teasing him with the paintings as he grew up.

Qiao Yuxi’s brow furrowed. When he was with “Lou Qingtai,” he had done a deep dive into the man’s background. If he recalled correctly, Lou Qingtai was an orphan. Looking at Lou Yishu’s stunning face, he figured this must have been a very early childhood memory from before his mother passed. Qiao Yuxi began imagining a tiny Lou Yishu in a little dress, and his heart was instantly filled with the image of “Baby Yishu.” Any suspicion he had vanished like a shooting star.

Next was Gu Huazhang: “I once spent over five million on a single person who was not a family member.”

This was a blatant flex. It implied he had a romantic history and was both wealthy and generous.

“That’s it?” Qiao Yuxi scoffed, only to be lightly nudged by Lou Yishu’s elbow.

Qiao Yuxi’s mouth twitched into a grin he couldn’t suppress. Give me a break, he thought. I’m the man who spent 43.25 million! Five million? Lou Qingtai could call me twice and I’d transfer that much without blinking!

Then it was Lou Yishu’s turn. This was difficult for him. He couldn’t exactly say he had scolded the Emperor in court. He searched his memory and found something unique: about eight or nine months ago, the Zuixiang Pavilion had caught fire. He happened to be nearby and helped out.

“I have saved someone from a massive fire.”

To his surprise, as soon as he said this, the faces of both Qiao Yuxi and Ye Qi changed instantly.

Seeing everyone’s stunned silence, Lou Yishu thought they didn’t believe him. He brushed his hair back, revealing a distinct burn scar on the tender skin behind his ear.

When Zuixiang Pavilion burned, he had carried someone out on his shoulder, not noticing a stray spark falling from the timber above. It wasn’t until he got everyone out that he realized his hair was singed and his ear was burned. His nanny had scolded him for ages, and it took a long time for his hair to grow back.

Qiao Yuxi grabbed Lou Yishu’s shoulders, pulling him close to inspect the scar. His warm breath hit Lou Yishu’s ear, making him shiver, but Qiao Yuxi was too focused to notice.

The “Lou Qingtai” he knew had never mentioned this scar. Qiao Yuxi felt a surge of anger why had he never brought up something so serious? If he had known, he would have found the best doctors to remove the scar.

“I didn’t know what to say, but Yishu reminded me,” Qiao Yuxi said, his tone turning a bit cocky. “I have saved a drowning person. The cameras even caught it Yishu fell into the river this afternoon.”

Suddenly, a figure rushed forward, cutting Qiao Yuxi off. The speed was almost inhuman, more like a predatory animal. It was Shen Mo.

Shen Mo was freezing cold. He couldn’t process the fact that Lou Yishu had fallen into the water. His eyes stared unblinkingly at Lou Yishu as he reached out to touch him not sexually, but checking for injuries.

“Are you unwell?” Shen Mo’s tall frame trembled slightly, as if he were reliving a trauma.

Lou Yishu shook his head. He felt Shen Mo seemed familiar, but looking at his face, he couldn’t place him.

“Wait a minute” Qiao Yuxi, who had been shoved aside, grumbled as he pulled Shen Mo away. “He’s fine. I jumped in and fished him out immediately.”

Shen Mo ignored Qiao Yuxi and kept his eyes glued to Lou Yishu, as if Lou Yishu might vanish the moment, he looked away.

The host eventually stepped in to continue the game. Su’er said something that shocked everyone: “I can drink a full kilogram of hard liquor.”

Everyone lost a life on that one.

Finally, it was Ye Qi’s turn. A smirk touched his lips, his eyes full of calculation. “Teacher Lin Chunyan has personally designed a look for me.”

Hearing Grandma Lin’s name, Lou Yishu didn’t fold his finger. He had just seen Grandma Lin today, and she had done his styling for his debut.

Ye Qi’s plan worked instantly. The live stream comments exploded whether they were paid bots or real people, they began savaging Lou Yishu:

“First time seeing someone this thick-skinned. Bragging in private is one thing, but lying in front of everyone?”

“Lou Yishu, get out of the entertainment industry. Get off the planet.”

“Is Lin Chunyan someone you can just name-drop?”

“The Director has to show her respect; does he know you’re causing her trouble? Someone’s career is about to end~”

The sudden wave of negative comments hit like a tidal wave. At that moment, the roar of a helicopter could be heard approaching from the distance.
