Morning sunlight shone upon the tall towers of the Royal Astra Magic Academy with calming warmth, driving away the remaining shadow of the dimensional crack threat that recently haunted the kingdom.

In class 101's classroom, the atmosphere felt enthusiastic yet orderly.

Students sat neatly at their respective desks, staring forward with bright eyes full of enthusiasm and deep curiosity.Full novel: The Professor’s Second Life — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

No more doubts, no more dismissive glances, and no more fear on their faces.

The survival experience in Black Rock Valley and testimony of Professor Erin's resilience at the northern border had forged the first-year batch's mentality into a mature, reliable young wizard group.

The classroom's wooden door opened slowly.

Erin stepped in with her dark blue robe fluttering gracefully, her blue hair neatly untied, and a warm smile gracing her face.

As soon as she stood behind the wooden podium, all students simultaneously stood tall giving formal respect with hand gestures crossed on their chest—a sincere highest respect form from the bottom of their hearts.

"Good morning, Professor Erin!" shouted all class 101 students compactly filling the room.

Erin returned that greeting with her signature gentle smile.

"Good morning back, everyone," Erin's clear, calm voice echoed softly across the classroom.

"Please sit back down."

Instantly, the sound of chair sliding made a soft noise as students sat back down with a ready listening posture.

Leon Arven, now sitting in the front row with a group leader badge pinned to his uniform, stared at the professor with a gaze full of respect.

Beside him, Serena Rose opened her thick notebook, while Kai Renford prepared his magic staff on the desk in a calm standby position.

"Today," Erin started her lesson while placing several parchment scrolls on the podium.

"We will not study basic theory regarding mana shields or complicated formulas from ancient textbooks. We will discuss something far more important than mere written spells."

All students sharpened their hearing, not wanting to miss a single word from the professor.

"You have proven in Black Rock Valley and under the northern border ice storm that the greatest magic is not about how much energy you possess inside your body core," Erin continued, walking slowly from behind the podium along the front row of student desks.

"But about how you choose to use that energy—to protect each other, maintain balance, and stand together when storms strike."

Those words sank into the hearts of every student listening.

Leon felt his chest rumble warmly, realizing how far he had changed from the arrogant youth on the first academy day.

Serena recorded every sentence of Erin with a small smile on her lips, while Kai nodded slowly, absorbing every meaning behind that life lesson.

"The magic world out there is very vast and full of mystery, challenges, and unresolved obstacles," Erin said, stopping her path near the large window showing the boundless blue sky.

"And right here is where your true journey just begins. As wizards from the Royal Astra Magic Academy, you carry not only this institution's good name, but also the future of the world we tread together."

The classroom atmosphere turned silent for several seconds, filled with meaning-laden stillness and burning determination inside every young student's chest.

Suddenly, a soft knocking sound was heard at the classroom door.

All eyes turned toward the slowly opening door, revealing Professor Adrian standing folding his arms across his chest with a faint smile on his firm face.

"Sorry to interrupt your class time, Professor Erin," Adrian said with a voice purposely hardened to be heard across the room.

"But the Academy Principal summoned both of us to the main council room. There is a special envoy from the royal palace coming with important news regarding the restructuring of magic defense curriculum for all academies in this region."

Erin nodded understandingly.

She turned back toward her orderly seated students.

"Alright, class," Erin said while tidying the parchment scrolls in her hand.

"For today's session, please continue independent practice regarding group mana harmonization we learned last week. Serena, please help supervise your peers in the middle group."

"Yes, Professor!" Serena answered steadily with full confidence.

Erin smiled, then stepped away from the podium and walked toward the classroom exit door.

Before she completely stepped out of the room, Leon Arven suddenly stood up from his seat, breaking the silence momentarily.

"Professor!" Leon called with a loud yet respectful voice.

Erin stopped her steps, looking back staring at the blonde-haired youth.

All students in the classroom now stared at Erin with expressions full of conviction.

"We will ensure that we are ready," Leon said with a wide, sincere smile.

"We will not disappoint you. We will be wizards this Academy can be proud of!"

Hearing those words, Erin felt extraordinary warmth enveloping her heart—a feeling she never imagined she would find when first waking up in this magic world as an office worker from the past.

Erin nodded slowly, her yellow eyes radiating a genuine spark of happiness.

"I believe in you," Erin answered gently.

"See you in the next class."

Erin then turned her body and walked along the academy corridor with Professor Adrian toward the main council room.

Their footsteps walked together steadily on clean marble stone floors, accompanied by noisy laughter and enthusiasm from students in the distance starting to practice magic with full confidence.

The sun continued rising higher in the capital sky of the Astra Kingdom, illuminating every academy corner with the warmth of a new dawn.

Past mysteries have been revealed, dimensional seals have grown sturdy again, and life at the Royal Astra Magic Academy heads toward a bright future.

For Erin Arven, her second life journey was no longer an escape or aimless search, but a beautiful destiny lived with her head held high, warm smile, and the soul of a true professor ready to guide the magic world toward a better tomorrow.
