Ash Sinclair had never seen such a spectacle. Rian Sinclair practically had to drag him along as they walked straight into the Givenchy boutique. There, Rian picked out two or three dresses, two pairs of jeans, and two trench coats.
After handing the clothes to the saleswoman to be dry-cleaned, Rian changed right there in the store, putting on a pair of shorts, a sports bra, a lightweight jacket, and a baseball cap. She then looked at Ash and casually picked out an outfit for him, telling him to hurry up and change.
The sales associate standing nearby was smiling so wide her cheeks could have cramped. After all, in her eyes, this was pure commission! Pure money!
Seeing her younger brother finished changing, Rian directly pulled out her black card. "Swipe it. No PIN."
The sales associate immediately took the card and packed their items. After running the transaction, she respectfully handed the card back to Rian. "Miss, your total comes to 96,567, and after the discount, it is 83,710. Please keep your card safe. Would you like us to deliver the clothes to your home? Could we also exchange contact information? We will contact you immediately whenever we get new arrivals."
Rian provided her address and contact information before taking her brother straight to the next store. Her spending habits quickly made her famous on this floor. Because of this, she never encountered another snobby salesperson looking down on her for the rest of her shopping trip. After all, to Rian, this was about enjoying the pleasure of shopping, not about walking into a store and being treated like a filthy beggar.
Ash stood off to the side, looking completely drained of the will to live. He was in awe of his sister’s crazy shopping spree. He had never imagined that women could shop this relentlessly and buy so much!
Rian then dragged him to a Nike store, buying three pairs of shoes for herself and five for him, before heading straight into an Hermès boutique and asking if they had any of the BKC bags in stock.
BKC stood for the three most famous Hermès bags: the Birkin, the Kelly, and the Constance. Rian had seen influencers review them in videos before, and she had been incredibly envious back then. After all, no woman could resist the allure of a good handbag. However, the scarcity and exorbitant prices of the BKC bags had kept her at bay. She could only search for them online and feast her eyes on the screen. But now that she had money, she didn’t have to worry about any of that. A BKC? Buy it!
To buy an Hermès bag, one usually needed a certain amount of accumulated spending—a system known as pre-spending. If you wanted a bag, you had to buy other merchandise first just to earn the opportunity to purchase it. And even with the pre-spend, getting a bag wasn’t guaranteed. Sometimes, even after ordering, it could take two or three months to receive it. However, if you had enough money, that was a different story entirely.
"Do you have a Birkin 30 in avocado green, Togo leather?"
The salesman saw that this customer walked in demanding a BKC right off the bat. However, after realizing she was the big spender everyone had been gossiping about in the mall’s group chat, he didn’t immediately turn her down. "Miss, purchasing a BKC bag requires a certain amount of accumulated spending."
"Then show me your jewelry," Rian replied. She had thought about it; to meet the pre-spend requirement, jewelry and coats were the best options.
Under the salesman’s recommendation, Rian bought one million in pre-spend merchandise—more than three times the usual required amount. Only then was she led into the VIP room to view the bags.
The salesman brought out the Birkin bag Rian had asked for. Without even trying it on, she looked at him and said, "Wrap it up."
The salesman’s face lit up with surprise. These bags were usually reserved for top-tier wealthy socialites, but after hearing other sales associates mention that her purchases had already exceeded a million, he had taken the risk of being reprimanded by his manager to show her the bag.
"I’m glad you’re satisfied. Please come with me to swipe your card once more, and you can take this bag home." The salesman smiled. Although these bags were generally targeted at high-level VIPs, if a customer was willing to throw enough cash around, their needs would absolutely be prioritized!
Rian took the bag and walked to the counter to pay. As Ash watched his sister come out, she smiled at him. "Ash, see anything you like?"
Ash frantically shook his head. Rian ignored him and turned to the salesman. "Do you have a custom tri-color Birkin in size 40?"
The salesman paled slightly. "Miss, we do have one, but it’s typically only available for purchase by our top-tier VIPs. Specifically, you need a cumulative spend of over ten million to buy it."
Rian set down the bag in her hand. Thinking she was giving up, the salesman quickly shifted his tone. Smiling, he offered, "Miss, how about I show you some other items?"
Rian smiled and shook her head. She wanted to buy the tri-color bag for her brother to help him adjust to their newly found wealth. So, at the end of the day, she was determined to get it.
"Set me up with ten million in pre-spend merchandise to make me a VIP. I am getting that bag today."
The salesman was stunned. He hadn’t expected her to persist, let alone casually drop ten million just to secure the bag. It took him a moment, but he quickly snapped out of his daze. In the past, regular clients would accumulate ten million in spending over the course of a year. He never imagined he’d encounter someone willing to spend ten million in a single day. This woman was practically The God of Fortune!
"Right away, Miss. Do you have any specific requests for the pre-spend merchandise?"
Rian thought for a moment. "Pick out the most expensive items. Don’t give me anything useless. Coats, jewelry, and watches are all fine."
"Yes, Miss. Please take a seat outside and rest for a moment. I will arrange everything immediately." The salesman was ecstatic. The higher the pre-spend, the fatter his commission. In his mind, he had already categorized Rian into the ultimate league of wealthy elites.
Rian walked out and sat next to Ash. Seeing his sister, Ash assumed she was done and was about to get up to leave, but Rian pulled him back down. "Hold on. They’re still grabbing the pre-spend items."
Though confused, Ash patiently sat back down. He had no idea that his sister had just thrown down ten million in pre-spend just to get him a tri-color bag. If he had known, he probably would have dropped to his knees right then and there!
Once the salesman finished gathering the merchandise, Rian swiped her card. They exchanged contact information—which essentially meant she was now a priority Hermès client—and she accepted the VIP card he handed her.
Under Ash’s astonished gaze, Rian requested that everything be delivered to her house. She then tossed the size 40 tri-color bag to him. "Use this for now."
Dumbfounded, Ash caught the bag and slung it over his shoulder. Rian put on her newly acquired Birkin and led him straight out of the Hermès boutique.

Hearing the system’s announcement as she exited Hermès, Rian finally started estimating her balance. She already had over ten million in savings. She had spent over a hundred thousand shopping at Huahua, topped up five million at noon, and factoring in the makeup and clothes, she had probably spent over four million. Her expenses at Hermès came to over fifteen million.
Rian checked the deposit notification from her mobile banking app. Her final balance was 265,359,123.00. Her lips curled into a smile. She was now a wealthy young woman with over two hundred million in savings.
"Sis, you spent over fifteen million!" Ash exclaimed in astonishment. When she had previously spent over a hundred thousand, then five million, and then four million, he had thought that was more than enough. He never expected her to suddenly drop another fifteen million today.
GASP! She had blown through over twenty-four million in such a short amount of time! He couldn’t make that kind of money even if he sold himself.
"Sis, even if you have money, you can’t just spend it like this! My good sister!" Ash was utterly beside himself. His sister was spending money like water. What was he supposed to do? He felt like he desperately needed some urgent advice from the internet!
Rian just smiled. This kind of life, this kind of shopping—it was everything she had ever dreamed of. After all, everyone dreamed of being rich, and now that her dream had become reality, she was obviously going to spend like crazy! As for Ash’s spending habits, Rian wasn’t in a rush to change them. That kind of mindset had to be upgraded slowly over time.
