We arrived back in Wano, and we set up more tents and other supplies for them where they wanted them, and we restocked the vending machine. Katsumi got the medical supplies from us and started treating the wounded women while another local treated the men, then O-tsuru escorted me to the other towns and villages like Okobore. Just like with Okobore, Ms. Midnight, and Ayaka are staying at the settlement at the coast while I teleport with O-tsuru to minimize the strain on my teleport. Since we are going at a relaxed pace, it is easier on my quirk. Yesterday was really rushed because of the villains, and I was also injured, which didn’t help anything. We finished teleporting another village, which was just like Okobore, back to the coast, and O-tsuru says, “We probably should not push you too hard, Hops. Instead of teleporting a whole village here, how about we teleport a care package for them and have them pack for tomorrow?” I nod, and we prepare a large amount of sea beast and two barrels of clean water.
We start teleporting it, and we get to the wasteland and are crossing it at the other side. We get stopped by some weird-looking people not in kimonos. I think they are pirate villains. They approach us, and a big man with tusks and a metal face mask asks, “Are you thieves working under that Shutenmaru?” O-tsuru is confused and scared, “T-thieves? We didn’t steal anything.” He asks intimidatingly, “Then where did you get that?” I sigh, “I used my ability to teleport some things to help the locals since you bastards are starving them and depriving them of clean water. Everything we have here is courtesy of my homeland, Japan.” One of the other smaller villains asks, “How do we know you are telling the truth?” I sigh and smack my teeth in frustration, “Tsk. You are a bunch of fucking idiots. Didn’t you just see that I can teleport? That means I can teleport to my homeland, too. TSK.” I roll my eyes.
The big villain gets off his mount who seems relieved from being freed from his weight. That big tusked villain says, “I don’t like your attitude, little girl. Regardless of whether you are telling the truth or not, I need more offerings from Kuri regardless. So it doesn’t matter where that offering comes from.” He stares at my clothes briefly, then says aggressively, “If you don't give us the offering willingly, then I will take it by force. I will even take that fancy kimono you are wearing as payment for my troubles. I would sell you as well, but no one would want that scarred face of yours, so that would be a waste of time.” I say with tons of attitude, “Tsk. We aren’t even bothering anyone and are only helping the locals. So just leave us alone, you assholes, and eat a bag of dicks.” I end my sentence with as much venom as I can muster. He approaches us wanting to fight and steal our stuff. I gulp, realizing just how giant this man is, the closer he gets. HE LOOKS AT LEAST 8 METERS TALL. I teleport O-tsuru and the supplies out of there quickly before he can close the distance. We continue teleporting quickly, and when we get a safe distance, I let the others know about the pirate villains we ran into. As I was telling them, O-tsuru said that the big man was one of Kaido’s ‘headliners’ and called Jack the walking disaster, and how he can transform into a huge mammoth and flatten towns mercilessly with his quirk. I told the others what O-tsuru said about the particular villain, and they are worried that our settlement may be in danger.
They assured me that they would keep watch just in case, and Ms. Midnight suggested that we bring back some sort of security device to help protect them and to talk with Hatsume about it. I think that is a great idea. We delivered the care package to the people of the next village, and O-tsuru introduced me as the hero of Okobore and told them of the settlement on the coast, and told them to be prepared to leave tomorrow. They were overjoyed and tried to hug me, but I teleported away. Why does everyone want a hug? I don’t know these people well, and everyone wants a fucking hug. I am happy that they feel like they want to hug me, though, but I don’t want them to see that. Before coming here, I never thought I could be a real hero like Ayaka, and now it feels like maybe I can, too.
When we got back home, we went to see Hatsume. I can tell that she hasn’t been to sleep for a while, but she is invested in Bulma’s prosthetic eye project that she is working on. She sees us, and Ayaka asks with a hint of attitude in her voice, “Could you possibly make a portable security system specifically for refugees?” Hatsume says, “I could. Do they have working electricity?” We shake our heads, and Hatsume says, “Ok, then, I guess I could make something solar-powered instead. I can figure something out that will be simple enough for them to use. Give me a month and I can make you something.” Ayaka sighs, then asks, “Can you make it any faster? There may or may not be hypothetical villains snooping around.” Hatsume chuckles, “Ok, I can do a week, but I will need help. HEY, POWERLOADER!”
Powerloader comes out of a back corner of the lab where we did not even know he was there, and he asks, “What’s up, Hatsume?” She gets him up to speed, and he clenches his fist tightly, accepting the challenge, “Let’s do it.” Powerloader says, looking at us while simultaneously pulling out his phone in his pocket, “In the interim, we have some security robots that aren’t ideal for something like this, but at least it is something. Let me talk with the principal to see how many we can live without.” We nod, and Powerloader talks with the principal on his phone, and I hear Powerloader say, “Five? Got it. Thanks.” He ends the call and turns to us and says, “We can spare you five of the security bots that we have patrolling the campus. I can make more after we finish this security system to replace those five, so don’t worry.” I sigh in relief, almost worried that my passion would have caused problems for our school.
When we left the support course lab, I realized that today was the first day that she wasn’t still talking to Miss Bulma on the communicator. I sigh, not wanting to groan in pain as my eye burns. Ayaka says while worriedly squeezing my hand, “Let’s go see Recovery Girl to see if she can get you some pain medicine.” I nod, and we go see Recovery Girl, who is at the Musutafu General Hospital making rounds like usual, so she doesn’t have to come to the UA nursery. She sees me and says, “Give me one moment, Miss Sekai.” She goes into a room with another patient, she treats him, and then she comes out and escorts me to a private room. She sits me down and then she removes the eyepatch and says, while examining the gaping hole in my face, “It seems the area around the trauma is inflamed, let me localize some healing specific to the periphery of the trauma, not the trauma itself, so we can ensure a successful transplant later this week.” I nod, and she kisses me and heals me precisely as she described.
When she is done, I sigh in relief, feeling a lot of the burning pain subsiding, leaving only a dull burning sensation in its wake, reminding me of the void, which is loads better. I say with a slight attitude, looking away and slightly blushing, “So, thanks for helping me and Katsumi… or whatever…” Ayaka gently bonks me on the head as Recovery Girl chuckles and says, “It is why I became a hero. To help as many people as I can, both with and without my quirk.” To help people both with and without a quirk. Her saying this reminds me of the Kubos and how the most meaningful help they gave me was just feeding me and providing a safe environment and not pro heroes or anything. Yet in my eyes, they are the best heroes.
When we get home, I feel the need to hug Mrs. Kubo. She was reading a book on the sofa, and I sat next to her and hugged her. She shuts her book and asks, “Is everything ok? Are you in pain?” I shake my head slightly and say, “No, I just needed to hug you. I - I love you, Mrs. Kubo.” She squeezes me tightly, “I love you, too, Sekai.” She pulled Ayaka in, too, who was next to me, “Get in here, too. You both are my children, and I love you both so much.” I start crying hearing her say 'my children' and I summon the courage to ask her, “Can I call you M-m-mom?” She starts crying, too, and says, “I would love that.” Mr. Kubo hears and asks excitedly, “Does this mean that I am Dad now?” I chuckle through my tears at his adorable energy that reminds me a lot of Sir Floof, “Yes, D-d-dad.” As if he knew I was thinking of him, Sir Floof comes out and bonks me adorably, joining the hug.
It has been a few days, and we have gone back to Wano every day, bringing them more aid, whether it was things from Japan or just us being there to provide our support with our abilities. Bulma said that she should be finishing my eye today so I can get it later. From the way they are talking it up, I feel a little excited to try it out. I am a little more than halfway done relocating the people in this particular village, and I see something red in the sky flying this direction. I teleport underneath a tree branch and quirk-walk to observe the thing in the sky in case it is a villain. I think there is someone flying under whatever that is. That actually gives me an idea with my abilities to try later. Whoever it was is currently landing, and the red thing disappeared, and I saw Nami and a pretty older lady who looks like she knows how to eat. I have always been jealous of women who were thick and curvy like her because of what that meant for their stomachs. I wish I could grow up to be just like her.
Excited, I call out to them while I stand upside down on this branch and then teleport close. The pretty older lady seemed surprised and jumped back and took a defensive position. Nami hugs me, wearing a worried expression after seeing me, “Sekai! Oh my goodness, what happened to your face? Why are you here? I have so many questions.” While hugging her, I responded, “I got hurt protecting my best friend several days ago. I will be getting a functional prosthetic either today or tomorrow, so I will be getting my sight back.” Nami is shocked, “Is that from another devil fruit user?” I shake my head, “No, they are just really smart.” Nami asks while still hugging me, “You never said why you are here?” I tell her everything that we have been doing for them, and Nami starts laughing. I asked her, feeling confused by her laughter, “Why are you laughing?” She wipes a happy tear and says, “We came here thinking some pirate or something terrible was making the people of Wano disappear overnight, but it turns out you are saving them instead.”
The pretty lady who is with her sighs in relief and says, “O-Nami, is this kunoichi a friend of yours?” Nami nods and says, “We met a couple of months ago, and we helped them when they were in a jam.” I bow to her in gratitude, slightly awkwardly, “and Ayaka and I are both very grateful to you and the other Straw-hats. We were able to get back home eventually, thanks to your help.” Nami pets my head with a smile, “I am so glad to hear that. So, hey, can you show us this settlement of yours?” I nod, “Yeah, sure. O-tsuru has named the town Rinyūraru. I was just about to take the next group. Would you two like to tag along? Ayaka is there with our teacher, who has been helping us.” The pretty lady perked up when I said O-tsuru’s name, and Nami said, “Please.I really need some good news.” I nod, and I teleport them with the next group. On the way over, the pretty lady introduces herself as Shinobu. When we arrived at Rinyūraru, I introduced them to the security bots, and they greeted the robots warily.
They look around and see many houses, tents, people carving a sea beast and harvesting meat, people making barrels of clean water, people building more houses, sea beast hunters doing combat training, children laughing and playing, and the loads of smiles from everyone here. Shinobu sees this place and starts crying happy tears (I’m assuming). O-tsuru sees us and then Shinobu and asks, “Shinobu, is that you?” They hug, and Shinobu responds, “It is I, the beautiful kunoichi in the flesh. I was worried when I didn’t see you at the tea house.” O-tsuru said, “Hops here saved us and gave all of us clean water and also a way to get food.” Shinobu tilts her head in confusion, “Hops?” They separate from the hug, and O-tsuru points to me and says, “That is her hero name. The other young one with purple hair is Flustrated, and their teacher’s hero name is Midnight.” Shinobu then nods in realization, “Ahh, a common practice among the kunoichi.”
The children here are playing with Garlic, and Sir Floof goes to join them. Nami squeals at his cuteness and sees the scars, then asks, “Was that the one you got hurt protecting?” I nod and tell her their names. Ayaka, who was playing with the children, noticed Sir Floof and realized I had returned, and came over and kissed me. Then she noticed Nami and squealed while popping me on the arm, “Why didn’t you tell me on the radio?!” I chuckled and smirked while putting my hands up in a playfully defensive manner, “Well, that would have ruined the surprise.” Ayaka hugs Nami, and Ayaka asks, “Where is everyone else? We heard that Luffy got imprisoned.” Nami sighs, “Most of us are undercover, trying to get more information before the raid. As for Luffy, he will be alright. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry too much about him. He is Luffy after all.” We sigh in relief to hear that from a Straw-hat’s mouth.
Shinobu sees some of the children walking up trees, and she asks while pointing to them, “Who is teaching the children ninja arts?” Ms. Midnight comes out and waves a fan in her face to cool down in a sexy manner, “That would be me.” Shinobu asks, “Where did you learn the ninja arts?” Ms. Midnight points to me and Ayaka with her fan, and Shinobu asks both of us in confusion, looking back and forth a bit (probably because we introduced her as our teacher), “Where did you two learn the ninja arts?” Ayaka says, “We only learned how to walk on walls from a kunoichi from the Hidden Leaf village, Miss Kurenai. We were only there for 2 days collectively, so we couldn’t learn a lot. Miss Kurenai said that there are even cloning techniques as well, but we were never taught that.” Shinobu looks excited and a little bummed out at the same time, “Cloning? That sounds like a very advanced jutsu. That is too bad, you don’t know how. I would have loved to learn.” Ayaka says, “Well, we can go back anytime and learn, but we have more important things to do here. Saving lives is more important than getting stronger.” I nod, agreeing with her sentiment completely.
The more time goes by as we stay here in Wano, the more I feel like they will be alright. These people are strong and resilient. I pop a jawbreaker in my mouth, and Nami asks what it was, and I told her it was a candy. I gave both her and Shinobu one, and their eyes lit up when it hit their tongues. I ask them, “Do you guys want to stay here for a while? I still need to get the rest of that town we met in.” Shinobu nods and says, “Yeah, we can stay a while. I rather love the positive energy of this place and don't quite want to leave just yet.” She says while patting my shoulder like I am her comrade and continues, "Thank you for helping my people." I nod, and Ayaka turns my head before I go, and she steals my jawbreaker in that sexy way she does, and she winks at me and returns to playing with the children. I clutch the front of my kimono, turned on by her (and very red), and Shinobu and Nami giggle. Shinobu says after giggling, "She reminds me of my younger days."
After teleporting the rest of that town, O-tsuru had prepared the care package for the next town, so we could teleport it there and have them pack their belongings tonight. Shinobu and Nami come with us, and since we ran into that scary mammoth quirk dude a few days ago, Jack, in the wasteland, we make an active point to avoid crossing it out in the open. Trying to teleport us with the cover of concealment as much as possible. We get spotted by a bat dude, and he alerts the big guy, Jack. The bat guy tried to hit us with arrows, and I tried to teleport us quickly away, but the arrows were still coming towards us. I stop teleporting and focus and protect everyone with a skin armament shield. I message Ayaka and Ms. Midnight about the attack and how we can’t get away as I protect everyone. Ms. Midnight said to escape at the first opportunity, which was already my plan. Jack is approaching from a distance and yells, “Little girl, you'd better have better manners this time!” I say with tons of attitude, “Not a chance, you villain!”
I call out Sir Floof and ask him to use his swift quirk on the bat guy. When the bat guy is hit, I teleport behind him and grab him by his wings and lean forward so he is heading straight for the ground. Just before he made contact, I let go and teleported away so I wouldn’t be damaged by a recoil from the fall. The bat guy made a crater, but is still alive. He aims his arrow at Sir Floof, and I teleport to him and shield him with my body as the arrow pierces my upper-back/shoulder trapezius area. He starts crying and glowing like Garlic did when he evolved. I reach around and pull the arrow out while hissing, and I make an armament shield around Sir Floof and myself while he is changing. It is getting hard to hold this armament over this large area. I hear Shinobu and Nami fighting, and I start to get pierced on my skin shield as my armament flickers off, and I yell in pain as I keep getting shot. Finally, Sir Floof is done changing, and it is hard to see since it is dark in the skin dome that I created.
I release the skin shield and stretch the skin around the arrows to make them fall before retracting my skin as I hiss in pain. I see that Sir Floof is covered with my blood, so he looks red. He looks bigger in this form, and something about him just looks so graceful, even covered in blood. Sir Floof summons screens of light around us that block the arrows from the bat guy partially, and they come through a lot slower, and I can block them easily with small, concentrated areas of armament, which is easier to handle at my current level. Sir Floof then uses an attack that looks like he summoned the moon to hit the bat guy, which puts him out of commission. Jack, who was close enough to almost start a karate match, asks me, “What is your name, you annoying little girl?” O-tsuru says bravely while shaking, obviously terrified, “Her hero name is Hops!” I quickly teleport us out of there now before he can close even more distance, since we don’t have to worry about the bat dude’s arrows anymore, and we all sigh deeply in relief. As we teleport, I tell Sir Floof, “You really saved us back there, Sir Floof.” He makes a really high-pitched, adorable squeaky noise, and I pet him.
We got to the town where Nami and Shinobu treated my wounds while O-tsuru handled getting the townsfolk taken care of and also prepared for tomorrow. My skin on my arms and upper back is covered in wounds from where the arrows pierced my skin shield. Though the bright side of using my arm and upper back skin for the shield, it localizes where they are treating me. I used the upper back skin to protect my back while using my arm skin to make the round shield. These wounds seem bigger as if I were hit with giant arrows, because of how they hit me while my skin was stretched, therefore making it appear larger than it actually was. They took me to a private hut where they lowered my kimono and wrapped my wounded back. Sir Floof licked my blood off himself and exposed his beautiful pink fur with hints of blue. While he was bathing himself, I updated Ayaka and Ms. Midnight. He bonked me with his head adorably, and I pet him while smirking through the pain since it hurts to move my right arm because of my upper-back/shoulder that got hit deeply with that one arrow. I tell him, “We match now, buddy.” I say while gesturing to my pink hair.
Sir Floof adorably chirps that high-pitched noise, and I tell him, “You turned into something that the professor didn’t tell me about. So, we are going to have to go back and ask him about you, so I can understand more about your change buddy.” He nods and chirps, and Shinobu asks, “Does this one know of the ninja arts as well?” I shake my head, “He has quirks that he learns naturally as time goes on. The abilities he used in that last battle after his change are new to me.” Shinobu says, “Hmmm. I see. You have a very interesting companion there. He is quite beautiful, too. Just like me.” I chuckle, “Yes, he is.” I reach down and pet him, and he nuzzles into my pets. His personality seems a little more elegant with a hint of playfulness, and I ask him, “Do you still feel like a ‘Sir Floof’ in that elegant form, buddy?” He nods and chirps, and I pet him and say, “Alright, buddy. I was just making sure.”
After they finished treating my wounds, we said our goodbyes, and they went off to continue fighting the good fight against Kaido, doing what they do as kunoichis here. Sir Floof didn’t want to go back into his Pokéball yet, and I am guessing he wants to make sure we get reunited with Ayaka first to help protect me. All three of us teleport back to Rinyūraru pretty quickly and avoid any more trouble, and Ayaka and Ms. Midnight are both concerned when they see me seeing all of the blood on my kimono. The bright side is that this kimono is the one that Mom previously washed, and not Ayaka’s. I would have been upset if her nice kimono got all bloodied. The blood makes me look more wounded than I am. Most of the arrow wounds were superficial and only stabbed my skin from the dome. The worst injury is the one that sparked Sir Floof's change that pierced my trapezius.
Ayaka then sees Sir Floof, and she recognizes him immediately and says with a smile, “Hey, Sir Floof. I heard of your heroics and thank you so much for protecting my love.” Sir Floof elegantly bonks her with affection, and Ms. Midnight notices the personality change with a slight smile, but looks back to me, worried, and says, “We are going to take you to Recovery Girl first thing upon our return, Hops.” I nod, and I see Katsumi clutching her stomach, and she has a pair of bloodied undergarments that she looks like she is going to wash. I teleport by her, and I ask, “Are you ok?” She nods and says, “It is just my womanly time of the month.” I sigh in relief hearing that it isn't related to her trauma, and she says, "If anyone should be asking that though it should be me. You are quite literally covered in blood." I tell her to ease her worry, "I will be going to get healed by Recovery Girl immediately when I return home." She sighs in relief hearing my words and nods while clutching her bloody underwear, "Good." I ask her, “So, do you guys have menstrual cups here?” She looks confused, and I tell her, “They are these flexible and comfortable cups that you squeeze inside, and it pops out to collect your blood, and it helps alleviate some of the cramping.” She gasps, “That sounds amazing. Can you bring me one?” I nod as I wince in pain from my injuries.
