The Despair of the Scumbag Father and Stepmother

“You don’t have a choice in this!”

Jiang Taohua tightly gripped Jiang Shan’s chin with both hands, squeezing forcefully to force his mouth open.Full novel: The Transmigrated Female Lead’s Brain Was Kicked by a Donkey — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

She picked up the bowl and roughly poured the entire serving of porridge into Jiang Shan’s mouth.

“Mmph!!”

Jiang Shan resisted fiercely, struggling desperately, but Jiang Taohua’s strength was overwhelming. He could only let out muffled whimpers.

Jiang Taohua’s movements were swift and seamless, ensuring every mouthful of porridge was forced down his throat.

“Gulp… gulp…” The room echoed with the sounds of Jiang Shan swallowing the porridge, his eyes filled with utter despair.

In just a few seconds, the entire bowl of porridge had been emptied into his stomach.

Only then did Jiang Taohua release him. Jiang Shan, his face a mask of despair, bent over and vomited repeatedly, his stomach churning with nausea. What he had just swallowed was saliva and rat droppings! At this moment, he felt like dying.

The stepmother watched in panic, subtly taking a few steps back.

Jiang Taohua glanced over with a smile. “Stepmother, why are you hiding? Your husband has already drunk his share. How can you not drink yours? A married couple should share hardships. Don’t worry, I won’t play favorites.”

Jiang Taohua walked over to the iron pot with the empty bowl and scooped out all the rat droppings from the porridge. The ingredients in this second bowl were far more “sincere” than the first.

The stepmother stared in horror at the bowl of white porridge and the layer of black rat droppings inside. She sprang to her feet and forced a fake smile at Jiang Taohua. “I need to go to work. If I don’t leave now, I’ll be late.”

Jiang Taohua planted her foot on a stool, blocking the stepmother’s path.

“Did I say you could leave? You’re not going anywhere until you finish this bowl of porridge.”

The stepmother’s legs went weak, and she nearly collapsed to her knees.

Without hesitation, Jiang Taohua pried open the stepmother’s mouth and, following the same method, poured the entire bowl of porridge down her throat.

The couple competed as if in a race, leaning against the wall and vomiting together.

Finally, Jiang Taohua rewarded them with a few more slaps before allowing them to leave for work.

She calculated in her heart that the scumbag father and stepmother must hate her to the core now.

If they tried to get rid of her, would that mean she could return to the modern era?

No, the hatred she’d stirred wasn’t enough yet. She needed to keep pushing her luck.

Taking advantage of the empty house, Jiang Taohua rummaged through the bedroom and found all the couple’s savings—5,800 yuan and two gold bracelets—which she promptly stored in her storage space.

Then, she took out three Daliyuan soft bread rolls and a bottle of strawberry yogurt from her storage space and ate them. Suddenly, a noise came from the doorway.

“Taohua, are you home?”

The voice was all too familiar. The moment the other person spoke, Jiang Taohua recognized it as the female protagonist, Jian Mingyue.

The door was pushed open from the outside, and Jian Mingyue glanced at Jiang Taohua before saying, “Taohua, what happened at your house? I just saw your dad and stepmother heading to work with swollen faces.”

Jiang Taohua leaned lazily against the doorframe and shot her a sideways glance.

“None of your damn business! You’re such a busybody! If a manure truck passed by, you’d probably rush over to taste it.”

Jian Mingyue wore a hurt expression. “Taohua, how can you say that? We’re friends. I was just concerned about you.”

“Congratulations, Host, for successfully angering the female protagonist. Reward: five yuan.”

Jiang Taohua spoke without any courtesy: “I don’t need your concern. If you really want to care about me, why not make it practical—like giving me some money. Anything beyond that is just insincere flattery.”

“This…”

[Damn it, this stupid female supporting character actually dares to ask me for money. Even if I had money, I wouldn’t give it to her. I’m the female protagonist—why should I give money to a supporting character? She’s just cannon fodder, nothing more than a stepping stone for me.]

Jiang Taohua—very well, she actually dared to call her stupid in her mind!

In one swift stride, she stepped forward and kicked Jian Mingyue to the ground.

Then she said, “Sorry, my foot was itching today.”

Jian Mingyue—ah! She really wanted to kill her!

Pretending to be magnanimous, she got up from the ground: “It’s fine, I won’t blame you.”

Jiang Taohua—You’d better blame me. Better yet, stab me to death with a knife so I can return to the modern era.

“Jiang Taohua, get out here!!” A coarse, grating male voice accompanied by vulgar insults erupted outside the door.

Those in the residential compound who weren’t at work came out of their homes one after another, gathering in the courtyard to watch the commotion.

Jiang Taohua quickly opened the door and stepped outside.

She saw Jiang Nuan standing there with her hands on her hips, followed by an older woman and two burly men. Jiang Nuan held her chin high, not forgetting to glare fiercely at Jiang Taohua, putting on quite the show of borrowed authority.

Jian Mingyue quickly distanced herself from Jiang Taohua, not wanting others to think she was on the same side as this woman—it wouldn’t be good to get caught in the crossfire.

As soon as Jiang Taohua appeared, the two men behind Jiang Nuan began spewing a stream of filthy insults.

Jian Mingyue:…

[Two useless cowards, wasting time and not even taking action. Why don’t you just go for it? Better yet, beat Jiang Taohua to death or cripple her!]

The two men who had been hurling insults suddenly fell silent, glaring at Jian Mingyue with anger.

The onlookers stared at Jian Mingyue with expressions of disbelief.

What was going on? It seemed like they could hear Jian Mingyue’s inner thoughts?

Weren’t these two supposed to be good friends? Why did it sound like she was hoping for Jiang Taohua’s death?

Was Jian Mingyue really this malicious?

Truly, the female heart is the most poisonous. They had all been deceived by this woman—her kindness was nothing but an act.

Jiang Taohua punched one after the other, sending Jiang Nuan’s two uncles flying into the sky, where they turned into two tiny black dots.

Everyone craned their necks, waiting until they grew sore, only to see the two black dots grow larger as they approached, landing one on top of the other like stacked pancakes right on Jian Mingyue.

“Pfft!”

The immense impact forced Jian Mingyue to suddenly spit out a mouthful of blood.

She refused to accept it—she was the female protagonist! How could she get injured just by watching the commotion?

Jian Mingyue was so angry her head hurt.

“Congratulations, Host, for successfully angering the female protagonist. You have earned eight yuan.”
