“All right, then.” Li Qing seemed very dependent on Su Liuli. After giving a slight nod, she glared viciously at me and turned to leave.
The bedroom door closed behind her.
The guest room’s atmosphere suddenly turned strange.
Su Liuli was even calmer than I had imagined.
She pointed at the phone in my hand. “I didn’t expect you to be so clever. You can delete the video now, and then we can discuss working together. How does that sound?”

“Three million?” At that figure, I couldn’t help taking another careful look at Su Liuli.
This woman was even more composed than I had imagined.
Though she dressed androgynously, even leaning masculine, neither her looks nor her figure were in the least inferior to Li Qing’s.
And when she said “three million,” she didn’t even bat an eyelid.
“Are you rich?” I asked suspiciously.
Su Liuli smiled, and two shallow dimples appeared in her cheeks.
For some reason, I found myself momentarily dazed.
This person looked so good when she smiled.

What was I thinking?

I quickly shook my head, casting aside my muddled thoughts.
“Three million is nothing to me,” Su Liuli said. “Don’t worry, I won’t cheat you. If you can sleep with Li Qing and make her break up with me, I’ll give you the full three million.”
Her words left me completely confused.
“What do you mean? Aren’t you and Li Qing together? Why do you want her to break up with you?” I frowned, feeling that Su Liuli was contradicting herself.
Su Liuli shook her head. “I told you, things between us are just a doomed relationship. But she loves me deeply—the kind of love that would make her die for me. I can’t just stand by and watch something happen to her, so I want you to make her fall for you and have her be the one to ask me for a breakup.”
I was sure Su Liuli had something wrong with her. “Are you two playing some kind of role-playing game and trying to drag me into it? Damn it, I’m not playing along.”
I tossed the phone I’d just formatted onto the bed and turned to leave.
“I can give you one million upfront, then the remaining two million once it’s done. And I can let you sleep with me, too,” Su Liuli said again.
I stopped at once and looked at Su Liuli. “You’ll let me sleep with you?”

As she spoke, Su Liuli took off her jacket.
