“Su Nianzhi, live a good life after you’re released. Don’t make the same mistakes again!”

The heavy iron gates of the prison closed behind her with a resounding thud, cutting off the warden’s stern admonition.

Standing outside the gates, Su Nianzhi slowly tightened her grip on the worn backpack in her hands, her eyes narrowing coldly.Full novel: The Villainess Is Out of Prison—and the Fake Heiress Takes Down High Society! — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Of course she wouldn’t make the same mistakes again. She was going to make every single person who had done wrong and forced her to take the punishment pay the price.

Not far away, three identical black Cayennes were parked along the roadside.

As she looked over, the rear door of the middle car slowly opened, though no one stepped out.

Su Nianzhi strode over and stopped a meter away, making no move to get in.

Through the open car door, she saw for the first time the legendary CEO of the Lu Corporation—infamous for being unhinged and ruthless.

He was a refined-looking scoundrel in gold-rimmed glasses, breathtakingly handsome, with deep-set features, broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs. Warm sunlight streaming through the open door fell on the multimillion-dollar watch on his wrist—one of only three in the world—its diamonds refracting a cold, sharp light.

“Su Nianzhi?”

The man’s deep, magnetic voice carried a chill laced with mockery.

“A woman capable of manipulating the stock market so precisely that she can turn it upside down overnight shouldn’t look like this.”

Su Nianzhi gave a cold laugh. Her face was so gaunt it looked almost skeletal, her eyes large and dark.

She stared straight ahead, neither joyful nor sorrowful, like a pool of still water—terrifyingly calm. She wasted no words on pleasantries.

“Fifty million, a car, a house, and a driver. In three days, I’ll give you the new plan.”

The man’s slender, jade-like fingers tapped lightly against his thigh. Gazing into her eyes, the corners of his thin lips slowly curled into an intrigued smile.

He liked that look in her eyes.

Like a lone wolf in the desert, brimming with aggression and bloodlust.

“The first car is yours, along with the driver, Mo Jiu. Mo Qi, transfer Golden Bay Villa No. 8 to Miss Su, and send someone over to attend to her.”

When the man finished speaking, he drew out a Black Card and held it out through the car door.

His pale, fair hand had a delicate, almost sickly beauty, as though it might snap if bent.

Yet Su Nianzhi had personally watched this very hand crush the arm of someone who had leaked secrets in a video—and he’d worn a seductive, bewitching smile the whole time.

“A three-hundred-million limit!”

Even knowing how unpredictable this man was, Su Nianzhi was still stunned by such extravagance.

The smallest villa at Golden Bay was worth at least ten million!

With a Black Card carrying a three-hundred-million limit, wasn’t he afraid she’d run off with it all?

Mo Qi, in the passenger seat, was even more dumbfounded.

Since when had his CEO become so easy to talk to?

And to give a woman like this—a woman just out of prison, no less—whatever she asked for!

Those socialites who used to flock around him—if any of them had dared make demands, the grass on their graves would be half a meter tall by now.

But Su Nianzhi’s eyes only flickered slightly before she reached out and took the Black Card.

Her pale lips curved into a chilling smile in the sunlight.

“In one month, my new plan will generate a billion in profit for you. That fifty million will be money well spent. We can discuss anything further then.”

Neither servile nor arrogant—only a madness ignited by excitement.

Anyone who heard such an audacious promise would refuse to believe it.

Mo Qi began to suspect she didn’t have the ability at all, that she just wanted to grab the money and run.

But Lu Yanzheng, sitting in the car, merely raised an eyebrow with interest, leaning elegantly against the seat as he replied leisurely, “Deal.”

He didn’t even ask a single question.

As if Su Nianzhi were recklessly detonating a bomb, while he saw it as nothing more than lighting a firecracker.

That one word of agreement was far more terrifying than the prospect of making a billion in a month.

“Then I’ll be waiting for good news from you, Miss Su.”

As the last syllable fell, the car door shut, and the Cayenne smoothly turned, its body gliding past the faded hem of Su Nianzhi’s washed-out denim skirt before speeding off.

Su Nianzhi stood rooted to the spot, the Black Card in her hand digging into her palm.

The mottled, crisscrossing scars on the back of her hand had torn what was once fair, delicate skin into something unsightly.

Just then, someone stepped out of the first car that had been left behind and respectfully opened the rear door for her.

She had just started toward it when a Rolls-Royce approached from another intersection. Brakes screeched behind her, the car door swung open, and Su Shiyan, dressed in a light gray haute couture suit, stepped out, his long legs emerging first.

“Zhizhi, Big Brother is here to take you home.”
