Raizael sat firmly in his high-backed leather chair, his breath catching slightly as the sudden gale-force wind settled. Sitting directly in his lap, her arms wrapped in a tight, suffocating embrace around his neck, was a young demon princess with cascading orange-ginger hair.

"Mmph... alright, calm down," Raizael grunted softly, placing his large hands on her narrow waist. He gently pushed her back a few inches so he could look directly at her face. Her flawless pale complexion was deeply flushed pink with excitement, and her pretty amber eyes sparkled with an untamed, vibrant energy. "Let me look at you. Zelaria... what on earth are you doing here?"

"I came with my papa, of course!" Zelaria squealed, her delicate dark demonic tail flicking happily behind her as she bounced slightly on his lap. Her father was none other than Lord Zephyrus, the traditionalist noble who had just fled the study in a panic.Full novel: The Villain’s Sinful System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

In the original unedited script of The Cosmic Prophecy of Celestrix, Zelaria was written as Raizael’s childhood fiancée. She had loved the original, bratty Raizael with a deep, hopeless devotion, but because he was consumed by bitterness, he constantly pushed her away with cold cruelty. Eventually, her spirit broke, and she tried to end her own life by jumping into a volcanic fissure. But in that original timeline, the Hero Caelum was supposed to rescue her, winning her heart and unlocking her incredibly rare Wind Elemental Core to help him conquer the continent.

But Zelaria was inherently a pure, kind-hearted soul, completely different from her greedy, traditionalist father. And now that a reincarnated mastermind had taken over Raizael’s body, the script was permanently fractured.

"I am actually really mad at you, Raizael!" Zelaria pouted aggressively, crossing her arms over the low neckline of her revealing dark violet and gold princess dress, though she refused to climb off his lap. "The moment I return from the northern sanctuaries, I find out you've gone and gotten engaged to a dark elf prisoner! We’ve been betrothed since we were children! Why won't you ever just open up to me and look at me like a real fiancée?"

In the original story, the brat prince would have shouted at her to get out. But Raizael simply looked down at her pretty, pouting face, his realistic, toned-down crimson eyes softening into an expression of calm, natural sincerity.

He extended a pale hand, gently patting her thick, messy orange hair before sliding his fingers down to pull her body closer against his chest. Zelaria’s amber eyes instantly went wide, her entire body freezing in absolute, breathless shock as a violent pink blush exploded across her pale cheeks. She had never been touched by him like this before.

"If I am going to make this kingdom truly prosperous, Zelaria, I need to keep my bonding stable to all my people," Raizael whispered, his deep baritone voice smooth and heavy as he leaned close to her pointed ear. "The dark elves are a critical alliance for our borders. But that doesn't mean I've forgotten about my childhood promise to you."

Zelaria’s lower lip trembled, her wide amber eyes suddenly filling with emotional, tearful warmth. "I... I thought you were going to reject me again like always," she whispered, her voice breaking with immense relief. Seeing him so mature, sincere, and close made her heart completely melt.

With a sudden surge of physical passion, she threw her arms back around his neck, hugging him tightly against her heavy bosom. She began to eagerly press soft, lingering, and chaotic kisses all over his neck and cheeks. The physical friction of her soft skin against his royal silk robes generated a sudden, high-heat intimate atmosphere in the study, her tail wrapping tightly around his leg as she buried her face in his shoulder, completely claimed by his new persona.

.....

An hour later, after gently sending a completely satisfied and blushing Zelaria back to her quarters, Raizael shifted his focus directly back to the impending border raids. Ronin’s bottleneck strategy was politically brilliant, but the logistics of executing it were dangerously fractured.

Ever since Raizael had executed Balthazar, Lilithia's eldest son, by turning him to pitch-black ash, the Frontline Vanguard had been completely devoid of a proper leader. Balthazar’s old territory was completely unmanaged. And because that specific sector was left wide open and abandoned, the goblin chieftains and mountain ogre tribes had managed to bypass the kingdom's grid completely, launching violent raids against the core mineral trade routes.

To fix this systemic failure, Raizael had officially summoned Lilithia's second son: Karon.

Karon was a legendary 25-year-old warrior. Most of the time, he and his elite legion were completely away from the kingdom, deep in the absolute outer reaches of the wild borders to hunt down external threats. But with Balthazar dead, Raizael had placed Karon in absolute charge of the Frontline Vanguard, absorbing his dead brother's old territory under his personal military banner to stabilize the region.

Unlike his corrupt older brother, Karon was not proud or evil. He had spent his youth watching King Atlas build the kingdom from scratch, vowing to protect it at all costs. Because Lilithia ignored her kids, Karon had single-handedly raised and trained his younger siblings, making them famous across the realm. In the original timeline, he harbored a quiet, non-malicious jealousy toward Raizael, constantly wondering why a weak brat got all the privileges while he had to bleed on the borders.

Raizael marched down to the primary underground training hall. Standing at the center of the iron ring, his bare, broad chest glistening with sweat, was Karon. He was currently engaged in a brutal sparring match against none other than Grand Marshal Corvin, the Supreme Commander of the entire Sovereignty's army.

Grand Marshal Corvin lunged forward, his heavy greatsword cutting through the air with a deafening whistle. But Karon moved like a shadow. Shifting his massive weight with high-speed agility, he slid past the blade. His right fist, pulsing with an intense, raw demonic aura, shot out like a cannon.

BOOOOOOM!

The impact violently shattered the Grand Marshal's heavy armor plates. The sheer kinetic force lifted the Supreme Commander clean off his feet, launching him clear across the ring until he crashed hard into the iron-reinforced wall, coughing up air before dropping to one knee.

Karon let out a controlled exhale, casually wiping the sweat from his brow, offering a respectful nod to the recovering Supreme Commander.

Standing at the edge of the shadows, Raizael watched the effortless victory over the army's absolute peak general, his lips curling into a proud, deeply satisfied smile. With Karon officially running the Vanguard, his military power was undeniable.
