"Imperion! Imperion!"
"Please look this way! What do you think of the recent destruction in New Geneva!"
"Do you think that this would have been resolved if the super hero act had been established!"
"Imperion! So many lives were lost, who do you think is behind this, could the villains be about to make their moves!"
"Imperion! Please answer us! Don’t remain silent!"
Floating down from the sky, as soon as the reporters got sight of them, they immediately began hounding him with questions.
Like bloodthirsty hounds, they each began trying to claw for his attention.
So much so that they subconsciously ignored Lilith who was in his arms.
’Tch these blood suckers, they don’t even care about the lives lost today.’
’All they care about is getting a scoop for their news articles.’
’Although I read the book before, why does everyone in this world seem so self-centered and greedy?’
Looking at the crowd in front of him, Ethan couldn’t help but think.
In this world, from the federation, to the heroes, reporters, villains and even the original Imperion himself.
Everyone seemed to have serious character flaws.
Flaws where they either solely aimed for strength, thought they were the greatest or they did anything to achieve their aims.
Only a few people in this world behaved normally, even Lilith behind him had her extremes in the later part of the novel.
’There is seriously something wrong with this world,’ he thought.
However, now wasn’t the time to think about that, he had to deal with these hounds in front of him.
With that in mind, a wide smile appeared on his face.
"Haha everyone calm down, calm down, I’ll answer all your questions!"
"However, before that, don’t forget that the reason I’m here today is to talk about the new orphanages I’m opening around the city."
"So while you’re free to ask other questions, don’t forget the initial goal!"
Saying this, he gave a slight warning to those reporters who wanted to stir up trouble.
But how could these bloodthirsty hounds care?
As soon as they noticed that Imperion had finished speaking.
They immediately began raising their hands, cameras and pens in the air, ready to record everything that happened next.
"Alright, you with the red hair in front, ask me a question."
Pointing to a red-haired spectacled woman not too far away, Ethan smiled at the camera.
"Imperion, my name is Martha Heart from Channel Fox News company."
"I would like to ask a question regarding the orphanages."
"According to your initial plan, you announced last month that Nexus Corp was going to create a thousand orphanages in New Geneva."
"How do you plan to manage so many orphanages, as you know the number of orphans has been a lot ever since the war ended."
"Also the whole world knows Imperion and Miss Lilith over there grew up and came up from an orphanage."
"Is this an act of giving back to the same system which raised you?"
Hearing this question, Ethan looked at this reporter in surprise.
Even though he had expected her to disregard his warning and still ask about the city,
She instead didn’t, rather not only was there no drama-inciting pitfalls in her questions, rather it seemed like she genuinely wanted to know more about the person who was Imperion.
’Martha Heart was it? Why does that name sound familiar?’
Hearing that name, he couldn’t help but feel he had heard it before.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard he thought, he couldn’t figure out where.
Shaking his head, he decided not to think too much about it, after all he had things like the raid and Helios to deal with.
He might as well get this interview over and done with.
So giving Martha an appreciative nod, he began to answer in the way he assumed the old Imperion would.
"Hello Martha, and yes a thousand is the tentative figure set up by Nexus right now."
"Some have been built already, and more are going to be built in the future."
He paused as if pondering something.
"And like you said, it is indeed my way of giving back to the society, the same system that let me be here today like you said."
"I might be the strongest hero, but I am not the only hero!"
"Everyone standing right here is a hero!"
"The mother who goes under the rain to get food for her child is a hero!"
"The father who goes to work all day for his child is a hero!"
"And most of all the children who we watch grow are heroes!!"
Smiling wildly as his white teeth shone in the camera, Ethan’s charisma seemed to have infected everyone.
So me opening so many orphanages, the same orphanages that produced someone like me means a lot, for us as a city.
For in every one of those orphanages! Each of those children could be the next Imperion!
Hearing these words, everyone froze as they couldn’t believe what they just heard.
What kind of vision is this, what level of magnanimity.
Is this how Imperion saw the world in his eyes?
You know to them heroes are out of touch, beings that exist at an unknown height.
Yet the world’s strongest hero just told them that they are all heroes?
They didn’t know how to feel. Even the reporters that had wanted to stir up trouble before couldn’t help but feel ashamed at what they wanted to do.
For a while the whole crowd fell silent, as Lilith watched everything with a smile on her face.
’As expected of Imperion, he always knows what to say!’
She thought, grinning from ear to ear.
However just when she was about to ask Ethan something, her face suddenly frowned as she saw a familiar human in the crowd.
Wearing a cast on his arm and a pair of crutches, she saw the human she had thrown out of the building there.
Not only that but he didn’t seem to have any good intentions as she could sense a strong malice coming from him.
"Hello Imperion, I would like to ask you a question!"
"If you say everyone is a hero, do you know some heroes are actually worse than villains?"
Stepping up to the front, Danny Duffield instantly attracted everyone’s attention.
