Feng Xianyue ran from the dilapidated house for a long time before stopping.

Taking a deep breath, she felt relieved knowing that she had gotten away.

It was then she noticed that she was holding onto something tightly in her hand.Full novel: The Young Miss Who Refused To Die — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It was a uniquely shaped dagger.

Feng Xianyue suddenly remembered grabbing something as she was scrambling away from the man.

Shrugging her shoulders, she threw it into her space.

She would think of it later.

Looking around, Feng Xianyue finally took in the secret realm.

She thought she would be amazed, but instead she felt creeped out.

She could hardly see anything a few feet away from her.

Was this why it was called the Misty Ruins?

she thought.

The fog was really dense, with the full moon unnaturally hanging low.

She didn’t know if this was normal for the secret realm or whether it was unnatural.

Grabbing a sword from the storage bag given to her by Gu Han, Feng Xianyue held onto it tightly.

Her surroundings were eerily quiet, giving her a bad feeling.

Suddenly, she was startled when she heard a voice in her mind.

“Sister…

Sister, be careful.

There are monsters in the mist.”

“What…

who are you?” she asked, confused.

“I can talk now, Sister!

The tribulation unlocked something in me.

Don’t bother about me now—something is coming!”

Feng Xianyue didn’t have time to wonder about when her little dumpling had started talking and instead raised her sword to block an attack.

It was a Mudscale Lizard.

Its strength was higher than hers, though they were known to be naturally weak, Feng Xianyue wasn’t going to underestimate it.

During the few hours she had to rest in the sect, she had read about the types of monsters found in this secret realm.

Though weak, the Mudscale Lizard was a sneaky monster full of tricks.

They were never where you expected and never fought fair.

If it was only one or two, Feng Xianyue was confident in defeating them.

However, when she used her divine sense to search the mist, she found about twenty of them.

This could only mean she had stepped into their home ground.

Such bad luck.

Mudscale Lizards usually lived in swamps and riverbanks, and it seemed Feng Xianyue had unknowingly stepped into one. This story is hosted at g.com.

“Sister Xianyue, let me help,” the little dumpling shouted.

Feng Xianyue didn’t have a choice and only nodded, letting him out of the space for the first time.

He was still the size of a large dog, and she felt that partaking in real combat would be beneficial for both of them.

With this, their cultivation would be solidified.

Feng Xianyue and Yueling stood back-to-back, ready to face the Mudscale Lizards.

Just then, tongues lashed out from all directions, aiming at them.

Feng Xianyue slashed continuously, chopping at the tongues.

Little Yueling used their long tongues to pull the bodies of the Mudscale Lizards out of their hiding spots and smashed them to the ground with his big claws.

Feng Xianyue was impressed.

However, just then her balance wavered, and the ground beneath her feet turned to sucking mud, pulling her feet below.

Yueling immediately grabbed Feng Xianyue’s hand, pulling her out of the mud.

The second she was pulled out, the large mouth of a Mudscale Lizard followed her out of the mud, trying to bite at her legs with its sharp fangs.

“Sneaky bastard!” Feng Xianyue muttered, stabbing her sword into its open mouth, impaling it to death at once.

“Thanks, Yueling.

You saved me there,” she said, rubbing the little dumpling’s head.

Feng Xianyue and Yueling spent the next five hours teaming up to kill monsters.

Though it was hard, they pushed forward, at the same time trying to find a place they could rest.

A lizard burst from the mud, its jaws snapping at her face.

She threw herself sideways, rolling through the muck, and came up swinging.

Her blade caught it across the throat.

Though Feng Xianyue could easily escape to her space and avoid all the fights, she didn’t want to do that.

How could Yueling and her ever grow and become stronger without facing their battles head-on?

Escaping to the space was a last resort, only when facing an enemy they couldn’t defeat.

Anyways, fighting the monsters came with some benefits too.

She got to loot different monster parts.

The hide of the Mudscale Lizard could even be used to refine a camouflage robe.

Though she couldn’t do that now, she could learn or find someone talented in the field.

After walking for a long time, Feng Xianyue used her divine sense to search around and luckily found a cave.

Cautiously, she used her divine sense to scan the cave in case there were enemies or monsters hiding, but she suddenly shouted, holding her head as a piercing pain consumed her.

Her divine sense was suddenly attacked, severing her connection with it like a knife through a thread.

“Sister Xianyue!” Yueling shouted worriedly in her mind.

“Someone is coming.

We have to run.”

Yueling told her, and Feng Xianyue didn’t doubt him.

It was why the little dumpling could notify her of any monster before it attacked.

Unfortunately, before they could run, three figures appeared a short distance away from them.

Feng Xianyue immediately recognized her three bitter enemies.

She had dreamt of digging out their hearts and pulling out their lungs countless times.

She wanted to cut off their limbs and gouge out their eyes for daring to look at her with those lustful eyes.

The old saying rang true to her: enemies were really destined to meet on a narrow road.

“Look who we have here.

Doesn’t she look like little Sister Feng?” Gao Lu said, laughing out loud.

“Brother Luo, this time she won’t be able to run away.

Her body will be yours,” Gao Chen, one of the three, said, trying to cater to the leader, Luo Wei.

Luo Wei sneered darkly.

He couldn’t forget the humiliation of the last time.

This time, he wouldn’t give her a chance to escape and was going to take her without mercy and use her to advance his cultivation.

At this time, Feng Xianyue and Yueling noticed the disgusting aura the three had around them.

She had read about different kinds of cultivators in the space library, and she recognized the characteristics they exhibited.

They must be demonic dual cultivators who walked the Yin Harvesting Path, stealing the vital essence of women to increase their cultivation.

Feng Xianyue’s stomach turned with disgust.

They were already at the Foundation Establishment realm.

The last time she saw them, they were just at the mid-stage of Qi Condensation.

Just how many women had they abused to reach this level?

Feng Xianyue’s heart burned with rage and hatred.

She was aware of the difference in their levels of strength.

The way she was now, she knew she couldn’t defeat them.

However, she couldn’t let them go.

Her mind spinning with plans, she decided to escape.

She could retreat and plan how to take their lives.

She was unreconciled and hated her lack of strength at this moment.

All Feng Xianyue knew was that if she didn’t take their lives, they would take hers.

And her life was something she was willing to fight the world for—much less the trash before her.

As the three mocked Feng Xianyue, they suddenly noticed the little dumpling beside her, and their eyes widened with shock and excitement.

“A dragon…

Ah…

The heavens are on our side today.

Such luck in one day,” Gao Chen said, looking at the little dumpling, who sent him a fierce gaze.
