Luo Wei, on the other hand, became cautious.

Dragons were one of the most powerful spirit beasts in the world and were said to have gone extinct.

The little girl having one meant she must have a strong backing or come from a powerful hidden family.Full novel: The Young Miss Who Refused To Die — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Luo Wei was having second thoughts—he couldn’t afford to offend a powerful family.

However, seeing the little dragon, his greed took the better of his rational mind.

They were in the secret realm—no one would find out.

And even if they were exposed, they had a strong master to back them.

“Little Sister Feng, be ready to give me your life—and the little dragon,” Luo Wei said, lunging at Feng Xianyue.

Fortunately, Feng Xianyue was ready and immediately used her spiritual energy to freeze the ground beneath their feet, trapping their legs to the ground.

Without wasting time, she immediately ran off, using all her strength to get away before they could break free.

It was at this moment she remembered the storage bag Gu Han had given her, which contained a lot of talismans.

Rummaging through the bag, she found a speed talisman and attached it to her legs.

Seeing as her speed increased tenfold, Feng Xianyue promised in her heart to treat Senior Gu Han to a large feast.

After running for a long time, she made sure she was far enough before she immediately disappeared from the secret realm and appeared in her space.

Yueling was already in the space, and they both fell to the ground, with Feng Xianyue breathing heavily.

She had never run that fast in her life—the speed was a hundred times faster than a speeding car, making her want to empty her stomach.

Feng Xianyue was exhausted both mentally and physically, but she knew that only by enduring this hardship could she rise above others.

This was not the end for her.

She immediately drank a lot of spiritual water, refreshing her exhausted spirit.

After cultivating for a while, she called Yueling so they could brainstorm on how to end the trio.

“Go through your inherited memories.

Do you have a plan?” Feng Xianyue asked Yueling, who sat opposite her munching on his spirit stones.

“Sister Xianyue, you are too weak now.

Don’t dream about reaching the heavens at your level.”

“Y…

you stinky brat!

Do you want to help or not?” Feng Xianyue asked, rubbing the ticklish spot on his body.

“I want…

to helpppp!” the little dumpling said, laughing nonstop.

“Sister Xianyue, have mercy!”

“Humph…

say I’m weak again, and no spirit stones for you.”

“Noooo!

Sister Xianyue, don’t mind my words.”

Ignoring the little dumpling, Feng Xianyue was deep in thought.

Though she shuddered at killing a fellow human, she knew better than to be soft-hearted in a world where strength ruled.

Besides, some humans were just monsters in human skin—just like the trio.

“Then I have a way,” the little dumpling said.

Feng Xianyue’s eyes shone brightly at his words.

After listening to Yueling’s suggestions, she immediately stood and went to the alchemy room.

She had a lot to prepare.

The Nine Yin Heavenly Physique was a heaven-defying treasure sought after by every entity in the cultivation world, including monsters and spirits.

The plan was to let her yin physique aura spill out, thereby attracting monsters—preferably spirits—to come after her.

With the spirits after her and the trio after her, she would escape and let them fight it out, killing two birds with one stone.

But for the plan to succeed, she needed to be invisible at some point, so she decided to use the time in the space to refine a camouflage robe with the hide of the Mudscale Lizard.

Feng Xianyue spent a week learning how to make the robe and another week to make a low-grade one that could last her two hours of invisibility.

The two weeks she spent in space was just a day in the real world, and it was finally time to carry out her plans.

Before she left the space, she saw that dagger she had thrown away earlier and immediately grabbed it.

She had a feeling she was going to need it.

Feng Xianyue put on the robe before she left the space.

It would prevent any probing divine sense from noticing her, and no one could see her.

Once she was out, she ran back to the direction she had escaped from.

When she got close to where the cave was hidden, she immediately sat cross-legged and began practicing the method Yueling had taught her.

To unleash her Nine Yin aura, she had to concentrate well.

Any small mistake or distraction could lead to a devastating backlash to her cultivation.

Soon, blue wisps of thread-like spiritual energy began to spill out of Feng Xianyue’s body.

The air became dense with an otherworldly aura, waking the ancient hills and trees from slumber.

Ancient wraiths began appearing, desiring the pure yin energy to stabilize themselves.

Nearly half of the secret realm was thrown into chaos with the sudden appearance of nightmare spirits and soul devourers chasing after cultivators.

Feng Xianyue, however, was not aware of the chaos she had caused but was busy running towards the direction of the trio.

Once she removed the robe, Luo Wei sensed Feng Xianyue, and the trio soon began chasing after her.

When she was a short distance away, she glanced back and saw some strange creatures fighting the three, and it seemed like they were having a hard time.

Feng Xianyue slowly crept behind Gao Chen as he fought the nightmare spirit and stabbed his back with the dagger.

Distracted by pain, the nightmare spirit strangled him, leaving him with no way to breathe.

Luo Wei noticed this and was filled with rage.

He couldn’t believe the timid village girl he had met back then was such a sneaky bitch.

Finally killing the wraith he was fighting, Luo Wei immediately attacked the nightmare spirit, ending it in one stab.

Gao Chen, who had barely escaped death, was seething with humiliation.

He wanted to tear that cowardly bitch into pieces.

“You cowardly girl!

You lack the strength to fight openly, so you hide behind schemes and borrow knives to kill!” Gao Chen shouted, brimming with righteous indignation.

“Heh…

hahaha!” Feng Xianyue laughed out maniacally as killing intent surged from her body.

“As a demonic dual cultivator, you have no right to speak of righteousness.

As long as I kill you, the method doesn’t matter.”

Feng Xianyue said, summoning her spiritual powers to freeze his legs to the ground.

Because Gao Chen was already weakened, he was slow to react, and Feng Xianyue didn’t waste time before she lunged towards him, stabbing him with the dagger straight to the heart.

Her body trembled as his blood splashed on her face.

Despite her hands trembling, Feng Xianyue held on to the dagger tightly, not letting go.

What she killed was not human, she chanted internally.

She couldn’t break down now.

Taking a deep breath, she looked towards the leader and saw a soul devourer consuming Gao Lu.

What remained of his body was only an empty husk.

The soul devourer looked up and immediately met her gaze, and Feng Xianyue’s heart leaped to her throat.

She knew she was next.

Though she was no longer spilling the Nine Yin aura, the soul devourer somehow knew it was her.

However, before she could be consumed with dread, Luo Wei killed all the remaining spirits, his eyes brimming with rage at the sight of his fallen brothers.

“Don’t think you will get out of this alive,” Luo Wei said, turning to send her a death glare.

Feng Xianyue thought she had a chance of killing him because of his injured state, but her hope was doused with cold water when she saw him take a healing pill.

It seemed like Feng Xianyue’s luck had finally run out.

If she escaped now, she would never have a chance to kill him again.

She had to cut the weeds and remove all the roots.

She couldn’t let him have a chance to come back completely healed.

Deciding on a plan, she clenched her fist and addressed the little dumpling.

“Feng Yueling, I need your help.” Feng Xianyue started.

“We can only defeat him with our combined strength—at the risk of our lives.

Are you willing?”

“Sister Xianyue, my mother chose you as my companion, and it shall be so until we breathe our last,” the little dumpling said, amazing Feng Xianyue at the depth of a dragon’s intellect.

Only a dragon with an inherited memory could be so mature for his age.

Luo Wei’s eyes shone with greed when the little dumpling appeared beside Feng Xianyue.

He was determined to get the little dragon under his control.
