A new game—Matthew played it for a few days and got tired of it.

Grabbing the Dragon Slaying Holy Sword first, plus being the first to step out of the Novice Village, gave him the initial advantage.

Slashing his way forward the entire time, player Matthew quickly climbed to the top of the red-name rankings.Full novel: This Man Is Clearly Super Strong But Refuses to Clear the Game — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

What followed was being hunted day and night.

Once he'd had his fill of killing and his enemies' levels and gear had nearly caught up to his, Matthew logged off and deleted his account in one smooth motion.

This way, they would never know, even in death, that the strongest killing god on the leaderboard was in fact the God Realm's only Male God.

"Growl," his stomach rumbled.

Thinking back on it, he hadn't eaten in many days.

Leaving the Male God's Cabin, Matthew saw the Goddess of Wisdom next door playing chess with herself, while in another direction, the Otaku Goddess sat quietly counting strands of her hair.

The Goddess Residential Area was made up of small houses, fences, lawns, and roads.

Outside the residential area was the commercial district, shared by goddesses and God Realm residents.

For example, the War Goddess Equipment Shop, the Goddess of Wine's tavern, the Goddess of Gambling's casino, and also Kind God Matthew's ramen shop.

"Kevin, Kevin, get me an ice-cold cola!"

Boss Matthew swaggered into his own ramen shop.

Behind the counter, a man with a small mustache, small eyes, and a big nose looked up with an expression of utter despair, then went back to dozing off.

By now Matthew had already sat down, flipping his hand over to tap lightly on the square table. "Hey, hey, hey, get me an ice cola, and a bowl of noodles too."

Across from him, an expression of gritted teeth.

"Cola and ramen," Matthew went on.

Finally, the ramen shop's chef-slash-waiter-slash-cleaner-slash-landlord couldn't take it anymore.

"Cola and ramen my ass! ...Matthew..."

"You should call me Lord Matthew."

"Lord my ass! Do you know how long this ramen shop of yours has been closed?"

Matthew scratched his fair cheek. "I've been busy gaming lately, hadn't been paying attention. But it's fine, since today I'm helping reopen it, aren't I?"

"Reopen my ass! You're broke, aren't you? Spent all your money on microtransactions, buying figures, and tipping streamers, didn't you?"

Matthew said, "Kevin, when I first met you, you never used to curse."

Kevin, in his chef's outfit, said, "That's from hanging around you. Besides, when I first met you, you weren't this broke either!"

So real...

Just then—pitter-patter.

Footsteps sounded at the entrance.

A black-haired young girl wearing a black gothic long skirt, little red shoes, and white tube socks walked into the Male God's ramen shop.

Her name was Miya. She was neither a goddess nor a Divine Citizen, nor was she a Hero from the Human Realm.

Her father was a shadow demon and her mother a succubus, which made her beautiful while also skilled at disguise, stealth, surveillance, and assassination.

One year ago, she had been secretly arranged to infiltrate the Goddess World, with the goal of investigating the latest intelligence on the goddesses.

Normally, the Demon Realm and the Demon Race could only gather intelligence through combat, but that was far too passive.

For the sake of the Lord of Demon Gods' great cause, Miya had lain hidden in the Goddess World for a full year, and had already gathered detailed intelligence on over a hundred goddesses. Just now, she'd noticed this ramen shop bore the prefix "God Matthew," and so she'd stepped in to take a look.

As far as she knew, the Goddess World had only goddesses—no male gods.

Going back tens or hundreds of thousands of years, perhaps there had been some, but they were too weak, their rate of advancement far too slow, and as time passed they had gradually faded away into the long river of history.

"So a newly ascended male god has appeared?"

"He must be weak."

"Weak is good. Weak means no danger."

"Adding the ramen shop male god, my intelligence stash now comes to exactly 120 sets. Once I find the chance, I'll deliver them back. Lord Demon King will surely praise me for it."

Thinking of this, Miya's face broke into a smile—only for that smile to freeze the instant she caught sight of God Matthew's back.

Kevin said, "You should leave. I'm not renting this shop out to you."

Matthew said, "Figures of the twelve S-rank goddesses!"

Kevin said, "I have a wife."

Matthew said, "A goddess photo album!"

Kevin said, "Whose?"

"War Goddess Ares!"

At that, Kevin's spirit perked right up.

Matthew pressed his advantage. "You probably don't know this, but Ares's figure rivals even the Goddess of Mountains. And do you want to guess which of her photo sets is the most... scandalous?"

Kevin said, "Which one, which one?! (⊙ω⊙)……"

"The chef outfit—the kind where, from the front, it's just a single apron."

(´ω`)……

"Gulp," chef Kevin swallowed subconsciously.

"Oh, a customer?"

Kevin spotted Miya standing at the entrance. "Customer, please, come in! What can I get for you? Our signature ramen is absolutely delicious—tomato ramen, eggplant ramen, spicy ramen, we've got it all, and every bowl of ramen comes with a free ice cola!"

At the doorway, Miya said, "I..."

She wanted to leave, but didn't dare say so.

God Matthew—a name she'd never once heard before. She'd only meant to take a casual glance, but instead found herself hearing the wails and screams of countless demon kings.

To an ordinary person, Matthew's back looked utterly unremarkable, at most worth calling handsome.

But what Miya saw was a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood!

She strongly suspected that this male god had once gone to the Demon Realm and massacred a city.

But as everyone knew, in the Different World, a demon king's strength dropped drastically before fully completing a conquest.

In other words, the demons within the Demon Realm were at least five to ten times stronger than the ones a goddess's hero would encounter.

And the Demon Realm also had His Majesty the Demon Lord.

If God Matthew alone had massacred a city, His Majesty the Demon Lord would surely have intervened.

How had he managed to escape from Her Majesty's hands?

"Ah... my eyes hurt."

Miya's vision blurred, no doubt from staring too long at such an overwhelmingly powerful being—tears streamed down uncontrollably.

Beside her, Matthew said, "Have a seat first."

Miya hurriedly found a place to sit.

This male god was smiling at her, yet Miya felt a chill run through her entire body—that smile was ten thousand times more terrifying than a demon's smile.

At this very moment, the wailing voices of demon kings echoed in her ears—

"Run! Run! Run now!"

"Everyone's dead! Waaah, everyone's dead!"

……

Matthew asked Miya, "What would you like to eat?"

Miya raised her head mechanically. "Ramen?"

"The signature ramen?"

"Yes, Lord Matthew."

Matthew immediately elbowed Kevin and said, "See that? She knows who I am. She only came here to eat because of my reputation. Practice your craftsmanship in your spare time, you hear me? One of these days I'll help you hire a waiter, and then we'll definitely make some real money!"

Kevin scoffed and turned toward the kitchen, his face full of disdain—though he had to admit, when it came to dealing with an inexperienced little girl like this, Matthew's looks were devastatingly effective.

After that, only Matthew and Miya remained in the ramen shop's dining area.

Matthew stood over 180 centimeters tall, while Miya was under 150. Even sitting down, she still had to look up at him.

Miya no longer dared to use her abilities; her dark brown pupils dimmed.

"Lord Matthew," the little girl asked timidly, "once I finish this bowl, can I go? I swear, I've never harmed a single human."

"Go?" Matthew's faint smile lingered. "Sure, you can go. But when Kevin comes back, you'll have to say 'another bowl, please.' Got it?"

"Got it!"

Faced with a being who could kill her a hundred times over with a single sneeze, Miya had no room to refuse.

Shortly after, the ramen arrived at the table, along with a free cola.

Miya said, "Another bowl, please!"

"Coming right up!"

Matthew ate his noodles and drank his cola.

The second bowl arrived at the table.

"Another bowl, please!"

"Coming right up!"

Matthew ate his noodles and drank his cola.

"Another bowl, please!"

"Another bowl, please!"
