Futa Harem System: Infinite Money in Tokyo
Chapter 1: The System Awakens
Lena stepped off the plane at Narita with a single suitcase, a backpack on her shoulder, and a heart pounding like crazy.
Twenty years old, freshly enrolled at the University of Tokyo on a scholarship, and until yesterday, her bank account had been almost empty.
She’d scraped together the money for the ticket by working two years in coffee shops, serving people who forgot her the moment they walked out the door.
Until yesterday, no one ever remembered her.
The airport was huge, bright, full of voices in a language she knew from books and anime but had never heard spoken live this fast.
She stopped in the middle of the corridor, held her breath, and that’s when she heard it.
*Ding.*
A clear, crystalline sound, inside her head.
[Suitable Host detected.]
[Synchronizing…
37%…
81%…
100%.]
[Harem System activated.
Welcome, Lena.]
A translucent blue screen floated in front of her eyes.
Lena blinked.
The screen didn’t go away.
She looked around.
Passengers hurried past her; no one looked at the spot where the letters glowed.
“Only I can see it,” she whispered.
[Correct.
The System is visible only to you.
You may also speak to me with your thoughts.]
*I’m losing my mind,* she thought.
[Negative.

[Claim?
Yes / No]
Lena laughed nervously.
*Yes.
Of course yes.*
A warmth started in her chest and spread through her entire body, like sinking into hot water.
Her hair, which had always been a dull brown, took on a silky shine.
Her skin turned smooth as porcelain.
She felt her muscles tighten, her waist slim, her breasts fill out.
And lower, between her legs, she felt something new, something that made her catch her breath.
[Note: Your body now possesses both sexes.
All functions are fully operational.]
Lena ran to the airport restroom and locked herself in a stall.
When she came out five minutes later, her cheeks were red but her eyes were shining.
In the mirror, a different woman looked back at her.
Herself, but like a magazine cover.
A woman washing her hands beside her glanced at her in the mirror, then again, and then couldn’t stop looking.
She shut off the tap with trembling fingers and practically ran out, her face burning.
[Your aura is functioning normally.]
*I can see that,* Lena thought, and smiled.
She pulled out her phone and opened her banking app.
The balance read: ∞.
Not some enormous number.
The infinity symbol.
The first thing she did in Tokyo was take a taxi to Ginza.
The boutique was the kind Lena would never have dared even to window-shop before.
The saleswoman, a tall Japanese woman around thirty with a perfect bun and a black suit, opened the door for her and froze in place for a moment.
“W-welcome,” she said, and her voice cracked a little.
“I want skirts,” Lena said in Japanese, slowly but clearly.
“Short.
Pleated.
In every color you have.
And blouses.
And anything else you think would suit me.”
The saleswoman, whose name tag read “Ayaka,” brought out clothes for almost an hour.
Every time Lena stepped out of the fitting room, Ayaka stopped talking for two full seconds before remembering what she’d meant to say.
Lena chose a black pleated skirt that ended at mid-thigh, a white shirt with an open collar, and ankle boots.
When Ayaka brought her underwear from the collection too, Lena shook her head.
“I don’t wear any,” she said simply.
Ayaka opened her mouth, closed it, and her ears turned bright red.
It was an old habit of hers, ever since she was a teenager.
She loved the feeling of freedom, the air on her skin, the little secret no one knew.
Now, with her new body, the feeling was even more intense.
And she had no intention of changing it.
She paid with her card.
The total was what she used to make in two years.
The balance stayed at ∞.
At the exit, Ayaka handed her the boutique’s card.
On the back, she’d hastily scribbled a phone number in pen.
“If…
if you need anything else,” she said quietly.
“Anything.”
Lena held the card between two fingers and smiled at her.
“I’ll call you.”
[New contact: Ayaka Mori, 29.
Attraction: MAX.
Relationship: Acquaintance.]
That afternoon, Lena sat in a real estate office in Setagaya, across from a sweating agent.
“The villa in Denenchofu is the most expensive property on our list,” the agent said, glancing nervously at his folder.
“Four levels, eight bedrooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a Japanese garden, a garage for five vehicles.
The owners are asking—”
“I’ll take it,” Lena said.
“But…
don’t you want to see it first?”
“I’ll see it tonight, when I sleep there.”
The papers were signed within two hours.
The System, as it turned out, took care of things like that too: the banks asked no questions, the signatures went through as if everything had been arranged months in advance.
Her second purchase of the day was more personal.
The Kawasaki dealership in Shinjuku smelled of oil and new rubber.
Among the motorcycles, one stood out: a black Ninja 1000, gleaming like obsidian, with red accents on the frame.
Lena ran her hand over the tank, as if petting an animal.
“This one,” she said.
Half an hour later, with a black helmet and a leather jacket over her shirt, she swung onto the seat.
Her skirt rode up her thighs.
The cold leather of the seat pressed directly against her bare skin and stole her breath.
She turned the key.
The engine woke with a deep growl that vibrated through her entire body.
Lena smiled inside her helmet.
*Yes.
This is it.*
She rode out into the streets of Tokyo as the sun was setting.
The lights of Shibuya flickered on one by one, the giant screens glowing pink and blue.
The wind caressed her legs, slipped beneath her skirt.
Every time she accelerated, the vibration of the engine made her squeeze her thighs around the seat.
At the great Shibuya crossing, she stopped at the red light.
Hundreds of people streamed past in front of her.
[Your aura is affecting 47 adult women within a 30-meter radius.]
And it was true.
Heads turned.
A college student with a backpack stopped dead in the middle of the crosswalk.
A girl in an office suit stared at her with flushed cheeks, forgetting to cross when the light turned green.
Two friends whispered to each other, pointing at her.
Lena flipped up her visor, winked at the girl in the suit, and roared away on the bike, leaving her standing there with a hand pressed to her chest.
[New Quest!]
[Name: The First Heart]
[Description: The student dormitory has assigned you a roommate.
Find her and invite her to live with you at the villa.]
[Reward: +1 Level, Harem Status unlocked, 1 Gacha Ticket.]
[Time limit: Until midnight.]
Lena pulled into a parking lot and took out her phone.
She’d completely forgotten about the dorm.
The email was still there: Komaba Dormitory, Room 304.
Roommate: Yuki Sato, 19, first-year, Department of Japanese Literature.
The dorm was an old four-story building with narrow hallways that smelled of instant ramen and detergent.
Lena climbed the stairs to the third floor, helmet tucked under her arm, and knocked on the door of 304.
A few seconds passed.
Then came hurried footsteps, something falling over, a muffled “ah,” and the door opened a crack.
Behind it stood a petite girl with shoulder-length black hair, a baggy gray sweater slipping off one shoulder, and round glasses.
She clutched a Kawabata novel to her chest like a shield.
Her eyes traveled slowly upward, from Lena’s boots, to her bare legs, to her skirt, to the open collar, to her face.
And there they stopped.
Her glasses slid down her nose.
Her face flushed red from her neck to her ears.
[Yuki Sato, 19 | Attraction: MAX | Relationship: Stranger]
“Y-you’re…” Yuki swallowed.
“Lena?
The roommate from Greece?”
“That’s me.” Lena leaned against the doorframe and glanced into the room.
It was tiny.
Two narrow beds, a desk, a window that looked out onto a wall.
One bed was buried in books.
“How long have you been living here?”
“Since…
since last week.
I came early from Hokkaido.” Yuki pushed her glasses back up her nose.
“Sorry about the mess.
I’ll…
I’ll clear the books off your bed.”
“Don’t bother.”
Yuki looked at her, bewildered.
“You’re not staying?”
“Listen, Yuki.” Lena spoke softly.
“This room is way too small for two.
Today I bought a house in Denenchofu.
It’s big.
It has a library, a pool, a garden.
And lots of empty rooms.” She paused.
“Do you want to come live with me?”
The silence stretched on.
Yuki stared at her as if she couldn’t make sense of the words.
“You bought…
a house?
Today?”
“And a motorcycle.”
“I don’t even know you.”
“I know.” Lena didn’t move closer.
She left the distance between them.
“You don’t have to.
If you’d rather stay here, I’ll pay for this whole room for the entire year so you can have it to yourself.
If you want to come, the door’s open.
Whatever you want.”
[Yuki Sato | Attraction: MAX | Decision: pending]
Lena could see Yuki’s heart racing, her chest rising and falling.
She could also see something else, something deeper: loneliness.
The girl from Hokkaido, alone in the big city, reading Kawabata on a Saturday night in a room with no view.
Yuki lowered the book from her chest.
“I don’t know why,” she said quietly.
“But I want to.
I really want to.”
It took two taxi trips to move all of Yuki’s books.
Lena rode ahead on the bike.
When the taxi pulled up outside the villa, Yuki got out and stood there with her mouth hanging open.
The garden lights had switched on automatically, illuminating the pines, the little bridge over the koi pond, the enormous glass walls.
Through them, the indoor pool was visible, its water glowing blue.
“This…
this is yours?”
“Ours,” Lena corrected her.
“You live here now too.”
She showed her around the house.
Yuki stopped in the second-floor library, with its floor-to-ceiling shelves still empty, and her eyes welled up.
“We’ll fill it,” Lena said.
“Any book you want.
Tomorrow.”
Yuki turned and hugged her.
It was an awkward, hurried hug, her face buried in Lena’s chest, and it lasted much longer than it should have between two people who had known each other for three hours.
“Thank you,” she murmured.
They ordered sushi and ate on the living room floor, because there was no furniture yet except the beds the System had sent.
They talked for hours.
Yuki laughed with her hand over her mouth, blushed every time Lena looked at her too long, and slowly, slowly drifted closer, until their shoulders were touching.
It was almost midnight when Yuki came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a white towel, her hair wet and her glasses off.
She lingered hesitantly at the door of the master bedroom.
Lena was already in the enormous bed, half-propped on the pillows, the sheet pulled up to her waist.
Above it, she wore nothing.
“I always sleep naked,” she said calmly, as if talking about the weather.
“I can’t sleep any other way.
If that’s not okay with you, the room next door is ready for you.”
Yuki bit her lower lip.
Her fingers tightened on the edge of the towel.
“Can I…” Her voice was barely a whisper.
“Can I sleep here?
With you?”
“If you want to.”
“I want to.”
She let the towel fall to the floor.
For a moment she stood there, naked beneath the soft lamplight, her hands trembling slightly at her sides, and Lena looked at her without hurrying, the way you look at something precious.
“You’re beautiful,” she told her.
Yuki turned red all over, darted to the bed, and slipped under the sheets beside her.
She hesitated for only a second.
Then she curled up against her and rested her head on Lena’s chest, her ear right over her heart, as if that had always been her place.
Her skin was warm and soft.
Lena wrapped an arm around her and stroked her damp hair.
She could feel Yuki’s breath on her skin, quick at first, and then, little by little, slower.
“Lena?” Yuki whispered after a while.
“Mm?”
“Your heart is beating really fast.”
Lena laughed softly.
“So is yours.”
Yuki lifted her head and looked at her in the half-dark.
Her eyes, without her glasses, were wide and dark and full of something that needed no words.
Lena leaned in slowly, giving her all the time in the world to pull away.
Yuki didn’t pull away.
She kissed her first.
It was a shy kiss, clumsy, that slowly grew deeper, hungrier.
Yuki’s hands found Lena’s face, then her neck, then drifted lower, exploring.
When her fingers found the secret of Lena’s body beneath the sheets, she stopped abruptly and her eyes flew open.
“You…
you have…”
“Yes,” Lena said simply.
“Do you mind?”
Yuki looked at her for a long time.
Then she smiled, a small, trembling smile.
“No,” she whispered.
“Not at all.”
And she kissed her again.
The sheets tangled, the lamplight fell low across the walls, and for a long while the only sounds in the big empty villa were their breathing, Lena’s name whispered over and over, and the distant sound of water in the garden.
Later, much later, Yuki was asleep again on her chest, exhausted and happy, one leg wrapped around Lena’s.
Lena stared at the ceiling, absently stroking her back.
*Ding.*

Lena closed the screen with a thought.
Yuki mumbled something in her sleep and burrowed deeper into her arms.
Outside, the lights of Tokyo glittered all the way to the horizon.
Fourteen million people.
A university full of girls.
And an account that would never run dry.
Lena smiled into the dark and closed her eyes.
In two days, everything would begin.
