Liu Xiaozhi’s possessiveness flared up again. She saw Mr. Pei holding an umbrella for Tang Tian, who remained mostly dry, while Mr. Pei was soaked through half his body.

At this moment, she found Tang Tian extremely irritating. When she saw Sister Wu call Tang Tian aside, she thought Sister Wu would reprimand her and waited to see Tang Tian’s pitiful, teary-eyed look after being scolded.

Instead, what she saw was Tang Tian smiling sweetly at Sister Wu, who even patted her arm comfortingly.Full novel: Transmigrated as the Wicked Supporting Actress, Babysitting a Boy Group — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Liu Xiaozhi felt a pang of frustration but dared not show it on her face. Why was Sister Wu chatting and laughing with Tang Tian? Someone like Tang Tian… shouldn’t she be despised?

Since Fu Xi discovered the “little tricks” among the servants, he would always pay attention to the “undercurrents” between them whenever he passed by.

It gave him inspiration for his next song—quite interesting.

The servant standing beside him, Zheng Liyu, was about to reach out and brush the raindrops off his clothes when Fu Xi stopped her. He disliked others touching him.

Fu Xi brushed the rainwater off himself and, seeing no new conflicts brewing among the servants, lost interest in continuing to watch the drama.

Since the gentlemen had all been somewhat drenched by the rain, the housekeeper quickly ordered ginger soup to be prepared to ward off the cold, sending it to each of their rooms.

Tang Tian was barely wet, so she was the only one who didn’t go to her room to change into her work uniform.

As it happened, today was her turn to be responsible for delivering fruit or other items to the gentlemen.

Tang Tian pushed the meal cart out of the elevator on the second floor, starting from the left to deliver the ginger soup.

She knocked on Shen Yanli’s door.

“Come in.”

She pushed the door open. “Mr. Shen, I’ve brought you ginger soup to ward off the cold.”

She had heard that there was a live-streamed banquet in two days, where Shen Yanli and Fu Xi were scheduled to perform. If they caught a cold, it would affect the condition of their voices.

“Leave it here. I’ll drink it slowly later.” Shen Yanli was strumming his guitar and didn’t look up at her.

“Alright.” She placed one bowl of ginger soup on the coffee table and casually tilted the lid covering it so that the temperature would be just right when he drank it later.

Her small gesture caught Shen Yanli’s attention, and he lifted his gaze to look at her.

She was very beautiful, and her demeanor while working was serene. Seeing her inexplicably brought a sense of calm.

Tang Tian thought he was fully absorbed in strumming his guitar, so she tiptoed out of his room, careful not to disturb his creative inspiration.

Before this, Shen Yanli hadn’t paid much attention to her. But over the past few days, he noticed she wasn’t like the other servants, who would do the slightest thing and fear he hadn’t noticed or was unaware.

Sometimes, when servants brought in fruit and saw him strumming his guitar or singing, they would always ask him questions or applaud.

She, however, was tactful—not only did she not linger, but she even left quietly, as if afraid to interrupt his creative flow.

Over the past few days, Shen Yanli had gradually begun to change his opinion of her.

Meanwhile, Tang Tian had already pushed open Fu Xi’s door. Fu Xi was playing on his phone, leaning lazily on the sofa.

“Mr. Fu, I’ve brought you ginger soup.”

Hearing her voice, Fu Xi put down his phone but didn’t reply. Instead, he looked at her with an arrogant gaze.

Tang Tian picked up the ginger soup and placed it on the coffee table. “Take your time, Mr. Fu.” With that, she turned to leave.

“Wait.” He called out to Tang Tian.

Tang Tian turned back to look at him, her eyes filled with confusion. “Is there something else, Mr. Fu?””Why did you come here to work as a servant?” he asked casually. Could it be that she had fallen for one of them? Pei Jue?

Tang Tian answered truthfully, “The pay is high, the benefits are good, and no matter how expensive the fruit is, there’s always plenty.”

If she weren’t the villainess in this book and had to stay away from the male leads as much as possible, she could have worked here for a few more years.

Fu Xi never expected such an answer. He was stunned for a moment before bursting into laughter.

“Alright, I didn’t expect you to tell the truth anyway.” Clearly, he didn’t believe her.

Tang Tian said, “I am telling the truth.” Whether he believed it or not.

Fu Xi seemed to see right through her. “Your previous attempts to seduce us were nothing like the indifferent attitude you’re claiming now.”

Tang Tian was momentarily speechless. After an awkward pause, she said, “That was before. Now, this is how I think. Mr. Fu, you don’t have to worry about me repeating those actions.”

With that, she ignored Fu Xi’s reaction and turned to leave his room.

Fu Xi didn’t stop her. Instead, a faint smile lingered on his lips. He didn’t take her words seriously, assuming she was just making excuses to avoid being fired.

After leaving Fu Xi’s room, she pushed her cart to Wen Shaohan’s door. His door wasn’t fully closed, leaving a slight crack.

Tang Tian knocked on the door, and Wen Shaohan’s voice came from inside.

“Come in.”

She carried a bowl of ginger soup into Wen Shaohan’s room.

“Mr. Wen, please have some ginger soup first.” She placed the bowl on the table beside him.

He glanced at her. “Mm, I’ll drink it later.”

Tang Tian nodded and was about to leave when he called her back.

“Wait.”

She felt a bit dazed. What was going on today? One after another, they were all stopping her.

“Help me apply the medicine,” Wen Shaohan said.

Tang Tian: “?” Apply medicine? She hadn’t heard he was injured.

She didn’t ask why he was hurt but instead asked, “Where’s the medicine?”

Wen Shaohan looked at her directly, observing her composure…

“In the drawer over there.”

Tang Tian walked over, bent down, opened the drawer, and took out the medicine inside.

It was a medicated patch. She read the instructions—it was for sprains and muscle injuries.

Wen Shaohan unbuttoned his shirt, his movements carrying a hint of allure. From behind him, Tang Tian could see the tension in his muscles as he lifted his shirt.

The way he took off his shirt was… quite provocative, like something out of a movie.

Tang Tian spotted the bruise on his fair back.

“Is it here?” Afraid of applying it to the wrong spot, she lightly touched the bruise with her fingertip. She felt his body stiffen instantly and thought she had pressed too hard, even though… it was just a light touch. Perhaps his injury was still painful.

Wen Shaohan remained stiff for a few seconds before replying, “Mm, that’s the spot.”

“Alright, I’ll try to be gentle.”

Then, she peeled open the medicated patch and gently applied it to his bruise. Her warm palm pressed lightly against the patch, and as she withdrew her hand, her fingertip accidentally brushed against his skin. His body noticeably stiffened again.

Tang Tian truly hadn’t noticed such a small detail. She thought it was because she had pressed too hard, causing him pain.

“Sorry, I pressed too hard,” she said apologetically.

After a moment, Wen Shaohan’s voice grew low. “It’s fine.”

He put his shirt back on, while Tang Tian threw the used patch into the trash and placed the remaining patches back into the drawer. When he turned around, Wen Shaohan had already put on his shirt and looked at Tang Tian.

“Sorry for the trouble.”

Tang Tian replied, “No trouble at all. I’ll go deliver the ginger soup to Mr. Pei now.” She had delayed for too long, and the ginger soup was likely getting cold.

Wen Shaohan didn’t detect any unusual emotions from her expression. It seemed as though helping him apply the medicated patch was just a normal task—no flirtation, no shyness.

Compared to her previous deliberate attempts to be seductive, this was a significant change. It appeared she truly intended to turn over a new leaf.

“Go ahead,” he said, continuing to flip through the book in his hands.

Tang Tian left Wen Shaohan’s room and knocked on Pei Jue’s door.

“Mr. Pei, the housekeeper asked me to bring you ginger soup.” Unlike the other three male leads, she always made sure to clarify that she wasn’t taking the initiative to enter his room.

“Come in.” A perpetually cold voice sounded from inside.

Tang Tian pushed the door open and walked in, carrying the ginger soup toward the coffee table.

Pei Jue seemed to have just finished showering, with a faint mist of steam still lingering around him. He appeared to favor formal attire—even his casual clothes were a button-down shirt, exuding maturity and elegance. His appearance was flawless, far more handsome than many male models in advertisements.

“Thank you for earlier,” she said as she placed the ginger soup on the coffee table, deciding it was best to express her gratitude.

Pei Jue rarely shifted his gaze away from his computer screen. “What for?”

Tang Tian replied, “I wasn’t drenched much, but you…” He had been almost completely soaked.

“You were there to pick me up. No need to thank me,” Pei Jue said coldly before turning his attention back to his screen.

Tang Tian didn’t say anything more and quietly left Pei Jue’s room. Her impression of him improved slightly. After all, among everyone, she had been the least drenched.

Moreover, when she thanked him earlier, he had clearly explained the reason behind his actions. This… was quite unexpected. After all, he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and was now the center of attention. Being so self-aware and clear-headed was truly rare.
