“Lu Nanzhan, don’t come any closer!”

Song Qingxian’s clothes were in disarray, her stunningly beautiful face streaked with tears.

Lu Nanzhan stood before her in a black suit, elegant and noble, like a deity descended from the heavens. Yet an oppressive, sinister aura radiated from him, chilling to the bone.Full novel: Transmigrated Into a Novel: The Plan to Save a Yandere Sickly Paranoid Villain Boss — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

His polished black leather shoes were spotless, each step echoing heavily across the ground like it was stepping directly on Song Qingxian’s heart.

He advanced step by step.

Song Qingxian trembled as she backed away, but lost her footing and fell hard to the ground.

Lu Nanzhan’s dark eyes were filled with tenderness. “Xianxian, be careful.”

Her voice shook. “Don’t come closer…”

He knelt down and gently helped her up, wrapping an arm around her waist as he softly smoothed her disheveled hair. He leaned close and murmured, “Xianxian, why did you run again? You’re being disobedient. You’ll be punished.”

His hand drifted to her flat abdomen. “And our baby… how could you bear to run around like this with him?”

A strange, cold smile suddenly curved on Song Qingxian’s lips.

“Lu Nanzhan, there is no baby. I already aborted it!”

Lu Nanzhan’s fingers tightened. His thin lips trembled as disbelief and pain flooded his face. “What did you say?”

She pulled out a medical abortion report from her clothes and slammed it against him. “I said, I already aborted it!”

He took it with trembling hands, his eyes turning blood-red. A tear suddenly fell onto the paper.

“Xianxian… our baby…”

Song Qingxian looked at him coldly, her gaze filled with disgust. “Lu Nanzhan, every time I was with you, it made me sick. From beginning to end, the only person I’ve ever loved is Brother Chiyan.”

Lu Nanzhan’s expression twisted into something terrifying, hatred and agony surging like a tidal wave in his eyes. He gripped her slender waist tightly.

“Xianxian… you want him dead, don’t you?”

“The one who deserves to die is you, Lu Nanzhan.”

A strange smile appeared on her lips. “Sign over your shares to Brother Chiyan and let me go. You might still walk out of here alive. Otherwise, you’ll leave as a corpse.”

Lu Nanzhan laughed softly, the sound cold and hollow in the empty, ruined warehouse.

“Xianxian, you want me to die?”

“Yes!”

He glanced around. The entire warehouse was filled with black-clad bodyguards, all his men.

“How exactly do you plan to kill me?” he asked calmly. “They’re all mine.”

Song Qingxian sneered.

“Lu Nanzhan, you’ve fallen for it. You pride yourself on being clever, don’t you? I rigged this warehouse with explosives. The detonator is on me. One press, and everything here turns to ash.”

She reached into her pocket.

Nothing was there.

Lu Nanzhan opened his palm.

“Looking for this?”

Her pupils contracted violently.

“When did you—”

His lips curled slightly, but there was no warmth in his eyes. “Besides this, what else do you have?”

Song Qingxian’s body trembled. Had she lost again? Would she be dragged back and tortured once more?

Suddenly, Lu Nanzhan pulled her into his arms. His ink-black eyes were like a dead abyss, completely devoid of light.

He leaned close to her ear.

“Since you want me dead… I’ll grant your wish.”

Before she could react, he pressed the detonator without hesitation.

BOOM—

A massive explosion erupted. Flames engulfed the entire warehouse in an instant.

Xianxian… at least we died together.

“Xianxian… our baby…”

Song Qingxian stared in disbelief at the scene before her.

What had just happened in the novel was now unfolding in reality.

She looked down at her own body in shock. Had she transmigrated into the body of the “Song Qingxian” from the book?

Into that beautiful but ruthless supporting villainess?

In the story, Song Qingxian and Lu Nanzhan were secondary characters. Lu Nanzhan was cold-blooded, violent, and dangerously obsessive.

The Lu family was one of the most powerful aristocratic families in Nanchuan City. Lu Nanzhan, an illegitimate son looked down upon by his family, clawed his way to the top through ruthless means, stepping over blood and kinship until he became an emperor-like figure who ruled the city with absolute power.

By all logic, he should have been the tragic, powerful male lead.

Instead, he was cast as a deranged supporting villain.

The real male protagonist was Lu Nanzhan’s elder brother, Lu Chiyan, a man of strategy and ambition who sought control over the family.

Song Qingxian was just a minor supporting character. Stunningly beautiful, seductive, and used as a pawn placed beside Lu Nanzhan by Lu Chiyan.

Her sister, Song Qinglan, was the actual female lead. Intelligent, elegant, and the official match for Lu Chiyan.

Coincidentally, the modern-day Song Qingxian was just an ordinary university student who shared the same name as this doomed character.

She had just watched Lu Nanzhan and “Song Qingxian” die together. Logically, she should have been relieved. The villain was gone, and the protagonist’s path was cleared.

But when she read the line—

“We died together…”

—she felt an inexplicable ache in her chest.

Lu Nanzhan was a villain, cruel and twisted. Yet he loved Song Qingxian with terrifying intensity, to the point of madness and self-destruction.

And then she opened her eyes… and became her.

Worse, according to the plot, she was going to die in just a few minutes.

Song Qingxian hadn’t even fully processed her situation when Lu Nanzhan tightened his grip on her waist.

“Xianxian… that was our child. How could you?”

She panicked internally.

She had to survive first. She absolutely could not let him detonate this place again.

Her eyes lifted to his face.

He was dangerously handsome, almost unreal. Tall and perfectly proportioned, sharp features, neatly styled black hair, and a dark suit that carried an aura of restraint and danger.

Then she noticed something strange.

A number above his head: 98

What was that?

She instinctively reached out and touched nothing in the air. Then, hesitantly, she touched his head.

The next second, Song Qingxian was shocked to discover that the number had changed—it had become 97.
