A chill ran down Bai Zixi’s spine. She quickly sat back down on the sofa, closed her eyes, leaned back, and rubbed her temples.
Han Shuo tactfully refrained from disturbing her. After all, anyone who witnessed the horrifying sight of people eating one another outside would be pale with shock and trembling with fear.
“008, so my body won’t awaken any supernatural abilities, right?” she asked, confirming her suspicion.
008 explained in its mechanical voice, “That’s correct, Host. After binding with the system, your body has become immune to the virus spreading through the air.
